I’m a 15 month old and American bully and doodle mix, I have grown to a healthy 85 pounds but run and play like I’m only 20lbs. I love outdoors play like tug of war, catch and just running. I love my stuffed animals toys, dog bones, car rids and love to play with children.

Story
Friends to the Forlorn Adopt-a-BullBreed: Great Dane/American Bulldog Gender: Male Estimated Date of Birth: April 15, 2012 Size:  85lbs Location:  Dallas, GA RESCUING STONE Stone was originally adopted from Douglas County Animal Control when he was a small pup. That family gave him to another family, who then gave him to a third family, and he ended up a Fulton County Animal Control. He was next in line to get put to sleep at the shelter and we were able to pull him on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. ABOUT STONE Stone is a giant. Our best guess is that he’s a Great Dane/American Bulldog mix. He is a big, playful goof and he loves toys … although he has not quite learned to bring them back to you. Stone does not understand his size or strength. It is very clear that a lack of basic obedience and being dumped several times in his formative years has affected him immensely. Stone is not very trusting of new people. He takes time to warm up and can be rather intimidating due to his size and behavior. He is reactive when in public to people and other dogs. Once he trusts you, you are part of his inner circle and he will show you his true personality. His true personality shines … he is fun loving, sweet, and silly. Because his previous owners simply dumped him off onto the next family, he lacked all leadership and guidance in his formative years so he does not know what behavior is acceptable and what is not. Stone does jump up on people and could benefit from some serious obedience training. He is reactive on leash in public and will require a strong owner. Stone also has trust issues and insecurities with strangers due to his previous life experiences. He will require a 6 foot privacy fence and a strong, experienced owner that is willing to take the time to get to know him and work with him on obedience. Due to his size and behavioral concerns, we do not recommend Stone for a home with children. Story
A REAL JEWEL:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 52 lbs. Hello – I’m Minnie!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am happy to be soaking up all the love and attention while in their care.  They are going to help me find a great home, where the love and care can continue for life.  I got to spend a few days in a temporary foster home during the recent cold weather and had a blast!  I’m back at the shelter now and ready to find a loving family, so come and meet me soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met and liked dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I really liked the three dogs that were in my temp. foster home. I wasn’t interested in playing, but we all co-existed nicely together.  If you have a nice, calm dog at home who is not looking for a playmate, let’s meet! / I was initially curious about the cats in my temp. foster home, but after checking them out, I pretty much ignored them for the rest of my visit.  Just wanted to know what they were – lol.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would be with another kitty. / I met two 8-year-olds and a teenager while in my temp foster home.  They were gentle and respectful, and I loved all the snuggles.  If you have kids like this, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:   My lovely, soulful eyes match my sweet and gentle nature.  I’ve been super friendly with everyone I’ve met and don’t seem to meet a stranger.  I am ridiculously cute on top of all that!  My house manners were wonderful , and my temp. foster described me as ‘just a sweet snuggle bug and a very wonderful dog’.  There was no destructive chewing in my temp. foster home and – though I will get on the furniture if left to my own devices, I respond well when told to get down. Typical of my breed, I’m a snorer and a drooler, so if I’m allowed on the furniture in my new home, a cover may be in order.  I basically charm everyone I meet with my fabulous loving demeanor.  You’re next! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I walk well on my leash, and I’ll be tested on more soon. / In my temp. foster home, I didn’t like the crate if I was alone and I cried and scratched to get out, but my house manners were so good that I didn’t really need one.  If my people are in the same room as me, I am fine in the crate though with a little whining. / My potty habits were really good in my temp. foster home, and I would go sit by the door when I needed to go out.  I DO seem to prefer going potty in the yard rather than on my walks, so a fenced yard would be nice, but not required.  My potty manners are also good at Mostly Mutts. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m a big fan of belly rubs and back scratches.  Hanging out with my people makes me a happy girl – because that is when I can collect all the petting and cuddles – my favorite thing!  I enjoy my walks, and – with my good leash manners – you will, too! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I’ll be getting a dental cleaning in Mid-February and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that with their vet, so local adoption only.  I take an over-the-counter Cosequin joint supplement which is good for all older dogs.  I came in with very itchy skin, so I started an allergy medication called Zenrelia, so just ask how that’s coming along.  I am looking for wonderful home where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 7, 2026, 7:41 am

Story
A SWEET, PLAYFUL SENIOR FELLOW:  Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi there, I’m Roy! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control - I don’t remember how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be safe and well cared for now. I’m a sweet, hopeful guy who’s excited about the future and dreaming of a loving home and family of my own. When I arrived, I had thin fur and some skin issues likely due to neglect, I also needed a dental cleaning, and I had infected ears and sore eyes. I needed bloodwork, which I was able to receive thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization. I’m feeling and looking so much better now and ready for my next chapter!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet.         • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was hesitant but interested in them, I even did a play bow, so I may be playing soon.  If you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no very young kids that I may bump over or that may pull on my ears as they are sensitive or hug me which I may see as restraint.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a friendly, super playful, and smart guy who’s sweet as can be and truly a very good boy. I’ve been a calm, loving senior with great manners who listens well and enjoys being close to the nice volunteers. I’m especially good for my medicated showers - I stay calm and sweet, even lifting my paws for massages and rinsing. A walk-in shower with a sprayer is just my style as I don’t want to get in a tub, and I enjoy the gentle massage that comes with it.  I can be a little head shy at first, but after a few days I learn I can trust you and then I’m happy to enjoy gentle head pets. / Energy Level: 4-6.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I expect to be a Mostly Mutts University graduate very soon!  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and accept nice strangers without jumping.  I look forward to learning even more. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing really well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule with very few accidents.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love spending time with the nice volunteers, playing with my toys (and I’ll happily drop them for a treat!), and getting scratches - I can never get enough!  I’m a big fan of tough toys since I tend to make quick work of the soft ones, but that’s okay because the hard toys are my absolute favorites anyway!  I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we will enjoy doing together in my new home. / I’m not a fan of those pesky eye drops and can be reactive to them, so talk to my trainer for tips.  I also don’t like to be restrained during my vetting, so I wear a muzzle to help things go smoothly, and my trainer is helping me build confidence and comfort with it.  Otherwise, like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.   • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I had a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again!  I’m having my ears rechecked/remedicated the week of Jan 12th and Mostly Mutts will pay for that with their vet.  I have dry eyes and need Cyclosporine eye drops daily.  I have been reactive to receiving the drops, so my trainer will be glad to talk to you about administering them successfully.  I’m still receiving medicated baths as my skin and fur continue to improve and those can be done in my new home in a shower setting. I take an allergy/itch medication called Zenrelia to help with my skin, too.  I’m a wonderful fellow looking to soak up the good life with my new family and to be well taken care of since that was lacking in my former home/situation.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 2, 2026, 9:16 am
