Story
Hi there, my name is Chaos. I am a young, three-year-old XL Bully mix with the biggest paws and a heart to match! I was brought to the shelter by my caretaker when they could no longer care for me or my two other XL bully siblings. I was quickly adopted but also brought back as my perspective family did not have any other dogs in the home, and I would really prefer to have a buddy with me. I am a huge, seventy-six-pound girl that just wants all the scratches and cuddles. I hope you can look past my large size to see how huge my heart is. I can be shy at first and when I come out of my shell, I am a gentle giant. Weight: 76 lbs Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 75.7 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Meet Rusty, a handsome American Bulldog (Scott Type) about 5 years old, mostly white with brown spots and an adorable brown patch over his right and often compared to Pete the Pup; from The Little Rascals. Rusty is house trained and crate trained, and knows several commands including sit, down, crate, and bed. He does well with cats and some dogs, and would thrive in a home that understands dog introductions and boundaries. Rusty is an active boy who loves exercise, especially playing fetch with frisbees and tennis balls, and he truly enjoys having a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. Regular activity is important for him to stay happy and balanced. Rehoming is a difficult decision due to changes in my health and schedule, and I want to find Rusty a loving home where he can continue to get the attention, structure, and exercise he deserves.

Story
A SWEET & AFFECTIONATE GIRL: Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 51 lbs. Hello!  My name is Scarlet!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and have been spending time in a great foster home.  Now, it’s time for me to meet a lucky family and spend my ‘happily ever after’ with them, so plan to come and meet me soon!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I get along very well with the two dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I love the two girls in my foster home, in fact, the 12-year-old and I are great buddies and do lots of things together.  There is also a 16-year-old that spends a good bit of time with me and I love her too.  So, if you have kids let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am an affectionate girl with a sweet, calm and loving nature.  I’m always ready to be close and soak up every bit of affection you’re willing to give.  I can be a little timid of loud noises or sudden movements, but I recover quickly with a gentle voice or a reassuring touch. I tend to be more cautious around men than women, watching first before deciding it’s safe, but once I do, my sweetness shines through. At heart, I’m a tender, loving soul who just wants to feel safe, seen, and adored and I would really like a stay or work from home family member that I could spend my days with. / My energy level is 2-4. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I shown that I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands in my foster home and I also have good leash manners.  For a cheese treat, I will gladly extend my paw for a shake.  I bet you can teach me even more great commands. / My crate manners have been good in my foster home, and I’ve shown that I don’t really require one.  I don’t like being left alone in one, as I would rather be near my people. / I’ve only had two accidents in my foster home – one of the first day and the other when it was blustery cold outside.  With a good and consistent schedule, my potty habits should be good in my new home too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Cuddling is my love language, and I’ll happily curl up at your side just to feel connected.  Getting attention is extremely important to me and I hope it is for my new family too.  And grass? Rolling in it is pure joy because honestly, life is better when you take time to roll around and enjoy it. Dog beds are my personal treasure - I like the soft ones best and believe every home should have at least one for me. / As mentioned, loud noises startle me , and my foster vouches for the fact that I am NOT a fan of pill pockets – ick.  I’m not the best on stairs, but I’m sure I can improve if needed.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I am taking medication to help with anxiety, though I have backed off from it in my foster home – only doing a morning dose when my foster has to work all day. Just ask about this. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.February 11, 2026, 6:55 am

Story
A REAL JEWEL:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 52 lbs. Hello – I’m Minnie!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am happy to be soaking up all the love and attention while in their care.  They are going to help me find a great home, where the love and care can continue for life.  I’m in a great foster home now while I wait to meet my new loving family!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met and liked dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I really like the three dogs in my foster home. I not much of a player, but we all co-exist nicely together.  If you have a nice, calm dog at home who is not looking for a playmate, let’s meet! / I was initially curious about the cats in my foster home, but after checking them out, I pretty much ignore them.  Just wanted to know what they were – lol.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would be with another kitty. / I love the two 8-year-olds and the teen in my foster home!  They are gentle and respectful, and I love all the snuggles.  If you have kids like this, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My lovely, soulful eyes match my sweet and gentle nature.  I’ve been super friendly with everyone I’ve met and don’t seem to meet a stranger.  I am ridiculously cute on top of all that!  My house manners have been wonderful, and my foster describes me as ‘just a sweet snuggle bug and a very wonderful dog’.  There has been no destructive chewing in my foster home and – though I will get on the furniture if left to my own devices, I respond well when told to get down. Typical of my breed, I’m a snorer and a drooler, so if I’m allowed on the furniture in my new home, a cover may be in order.  I basically charm everyone I meet with my fabulous loving demeanor.  You’re next! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I walk well on my leash and I’m sure you can teach me some cool commands. / In my foster home, I don’t like the crate if I’m alone and I cry and scratch to get out, but my house manners have been so good that I don’t really need one.  If my people are in the same room as me, I am fine in the crate though with a little whining. / My potty habits have been really good in my foster home, and I go sit by the door when I need to go out.  I DO seem to prefer going potty in the yard rather than on my walks, so a fenced yard would be nice, but not required.  My potty manners are also good at Mostly Mutts. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m a big fan of belly rubs and back scratches.  Hanging out with my people makes me a happy girl – because that is when I can collect all the petting and cuddles – my favorite thing!  I enjoy my walks, and – with my good leash manners – you will, too! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I had a good dental cleaning with a couple of teeth pulled so my mouth is fresh again!  I take an over-the-counter Cosequin joint supplement which is good for all older dogs.  I came in with very itchy skin, so I started an allergy medication called Zenrelia, so just ask how that’s coming along.  I am looking for wonderful home where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.February 17, 2026, 10:57 am

Story
A SWEET, PLAYFUL SENIOR FELLOW:  Approx. 9 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi there, I’m Roy! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control - I don’t remember how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be safe and well cared for now. I’m a sweet, hopeful guy who’s excited about the future and dreaming of a loving home and family of my own. When I arrived, I had thin fur and some skin issues likely due to neglect, I also needed a dental cleaning, and I had infected ears and sore eyes. I needed bloodwork, which I was able to receive thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization. I’m feeling and looking so much better now and ready for my next chapter!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet.         • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was hesitant but interested in them, I even did a play bow, so I may be playing soon.  If you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no very young kids that I may bump over or that may pull on my ears as they are sensitive or hug me which I may see as restraint.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a friendly, super playful, and smart guy who’s sweet as can be and truly a very good boy. I’ve been a calm, loving senior with great manners who listens well and enjoys being close to the nice volunteers. I’m especially good for my medicated showers - I stay calm and sweet, even lifting my paws for massages and rinsing. A walk-in shower with a sprayer is just my style as I don’t want to get in a tub, and I enjoy the gentle massage that comes with it.  I can be a little head shy at first, but after a few days I learn I can trust you and then I’m happy to enjoy gentle head pets. / Energy Level: 4-6.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I expect to be a Mostly Mutts University graduate very soon!  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and accept nice strangers without jumping.  I look forward to learning even more. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing really well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule with very few accidents.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love spending time with the nice volunteers, playing with my toys (and I’ll happily drop them for a treat!), and getting scratches - I can never get enough!  I’m a big fan of tough toys since I tend to make quick work of the soft ones, but that’s okay because the hard toys are my absolute favorites anyway!  I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we will enjoy doing together in my new home. / I’m not a fan of those pesky eye drops and can be reactive to them, so talk to my trainer for tips.  I also don’t like to be restrained during my vetting, so I wear a muzzle to help things go smoothly, and my trainer is helping me build confidence and comfort with it.  Otherwise, like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.   • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I had a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again!  I’m having my ears rechecked/remedicated the week of Jan 12th and Mostly Mutts will pay for that with their vet.  I have dry eyes and need Cyclosporine eye drops daily.  I have been reactive to receiving the drops, so my trainer will be glad to talk to you about administering them successfully.  I’m still receiving medicated baths as my skin and fur continue to improve and those can be done in my new home in a shower setting. I take an allergy/itch medication called Zenrelia to help with my skin, too.  I’m a wonderful fellow looking to soak up the good life with my new family and to be well taken care of since that was lacking in my former home/situation.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 2, 2026, 9:16 am

Story
AN ACTIVE & WONDERFUL FRIEND: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi, my name is Wilson!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the volunteers, who take great care of me, but nothing will beat a home and family of my own.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them a lot.  I’m an excitedly vocal player, so if you have dogs at home already that wouldn’t mind this, let’s meet!  We should also be fed separately. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, but I have mildly guarded my food so best no toddlers or young children that may not understand this about me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, fun, and happy guy with a playful, goofy, and sweet personality who is full of love.  I have so much happy enthusiasm to share, and I did great during my bath, too - I even drank from the sprayer and handed out kisses.  I’m a chatty, vocal player who loves to “talk” while I play with both people and other dogs. It’s just my sweet way of letting you know I’m having fun!  I’ve shown a little food guarding in the past, but it’s been very mild and is well managed after working with my trainer, so please just ask about it.  I’m a loving, affectionate boy who can’t wait to brighten your days. / Energy Level: 7-9. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners using my EZ walk harness as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. / The crate is not my favorite place, so I do some whining in there. / My potty habits are slowly improving on a good schedule. Please keep me on a consistent schedule, so that I can fully master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing with toys, especially tennis balls, and I never say no to a peanut butter treat.  I’ve destuffed a few toys and shredded a blanket, so please just watch me with these items.  Chin scratches are the best, and they always make my tail wag!  At the end of the day, being with my people is really what I’m after.  / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I recently started 2 inexpensive stress/anxiety medications to help with some mild separation anxiety that I’m experiencing.  Hopefully I will no longer need it once I’ve settled into my new home. I also take an inexpensive tummy medication to help with some tummy upset I experience at the shelter. I’m a wonderful pup looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 16, 2026, 11:52 am

Hiya! My name is Gracie,I am a young, one year old bully type mix that came to the shelter as a stray in early winter. I am a very friendly and social gally, who has yet to meet a human I haven't melted into for belly rubs. I walked well on a leash and appear to be potty trained but since I came in as a stray, my care team cannot guarantee my potty-trained status. I kindly ask that I meet any prospective human and canine siblings before I come home to you. I hope to see you soon!-Gracie!Weight: 53 lbs Primary Color: Red Brown Weight: 53.4 Age: 1yrs 2mths 4wks
