A WONDERFUL FRIEND:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 46 lbs. Hi, my name is Wilson!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the volunteers, who take great care of me, but nothing will beat a home and family of my own.  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off-site learning a lot and having fun!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them a lot, so if you have dogs at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, fun, and happy guy with a playful, goofy, and sweet personality who is full of love. I have so much happy enthusiasm to share, and I did great during my bath, too - I even drank from the sprayer and handed out kisses.  I’m a loving, affectionate boy who can’t wait to brighten your days. / Energy Level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have mastered the ‘sit’ command so far and I look forward to learning more.  I’m working on my leash manners as I crisscross a bit currently. / The crate is not my favorite place, but I am learning. / I’ve had quite a few accidents on the shelter schedule and will be working on this in the prison/foster training program.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing with toys, especially tennis balls, and I never say no to a peanut butter treat.  Chin scratches are the best, and they always make my tail wag! / I can’t think of any dislikes yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful pup looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 31, 2025, 7:49 am

AN ACTIVE & FUN FRIEND:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, my name is Victor!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so happy to be soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers.  They are here every day to be sure I am a happy, healthy guy ready to meet my new family.  Well, that time has come, and I am ready for my ‘happily ever after’.  Come meet me soon!  I got to participate in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and do not like them, so I’d like to be your only dog. / Cats unknown. / I met a nice boy and a girl around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and I was a bit all over them in a happy & excited way – being a bit mouthy and chasing them when they ran, so kids 15+ may be a better match for me.  Let’s meet!  Also, it would be best that kids do not walk me due to my strength and dislike for other dogs. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a super active and fun guy with a friendly and playful demeanor.  My affectionate nature has charmed the volunteers, and they refer to me as ‘a super sweet boy’.  In fact, my whole-body wags with excitement when I know it’s my turn to spend time with them.  I can get a little mouthy when I’m excited, and that playful behavior has occasionally resulted in some unintentional, never-to-be-mean skin grabs. I’m very easy to redirect, and the trainers will happily show you the techniques that work with me.  Social, loving and energetic, I’d be happiest with an owner that matches my energy level and has time to be active with me. / My energy level is 6-8+, so let’s be active and have fun together! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners using my gentle leader as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I also know some silly commands such as ‘bang bang’ and I ‘play dead’.  / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts as well as in a temp. foster home I visited. / I had good potty habits in the prison/foster training program, as well as in two temp. fosters home I visited, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too!   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love people and enjoy any activity with them – the more activity the better!  Affectionate and loving, I also put energy into giving kisses, cuddles and happy tail wags, and I’m a big fan of belly rubs and playing with toys.  I love to get my energy out by playing with tennis balls in the play yard with the volunteers. I could play fetch for hours!  / I don’t care for other dogs or thunder and I’m not too sure about motorcycles passing so perhaps a quieter walking area would be nice. I can’t think of any other dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I have experienced a few allergy flare-ups and Mostly Mutts has recently started me on an allergy medication called Zenrelia to help with that. Just ask about this to see how it’s working for me.  I have luxating patellas in my rear legs which do not require surgery at this time.  At times I limp, but I don’t let it slow me down as I’m very active, just ask about this!  I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.   I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 24, 2025, 7:24 am

Story
A HANDSOME YOUNG FELLOW:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 58 lbs. Hi, I’m Blake, but I answer to the name Churro (please refer to Blake though when inquiring about me as that’s the name my records are under). I was rescued by Mostly Mutts from animal control and was adopted for a few months. Unfortunately, my family’s parents became ill, and they needed to focus on caring for them, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts to find a new loving family and I can’t wait to meet them!  I’m in a wonderful foster home while I wait.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I get along very well with the other dogs I’ve met that were my size or larger, and I love playing with my foster sibling.  I can be a bit enthusiastic when I play, taking toys from other dogs, etc. as I’m still learning my boundaries! I’d do best with a dog who would enjoy a playful, rough-and-tumble style of play and won’t mind if I take their toy. A proper introduction will help set us up for success! / Cats unknown though I do have a strong prey drive. / I haven’t met kids yet, but I believe older kids would be best as I can be playfully mouthy, so if you have kids like this, let’s meet.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a super fun and adorable pup who’s a little timid and fearful when it comes to new things (see the dislikes section below) - but give me some time and patience, and you’ll see my friendly, curious side shine through. I’m a sweetheart who likes to build trust first, so please skip the head pats until we know each other better. When I’m unsure or afraid,  I duck my head a little or flatten my body out. Once I feel safe, I’ll stay right by your side, quiet, attentive, and full of love. I promise I’ll be so worth it – my foster reports that I’m truly a total doll! I’m thankful that I’m in a great foster home as the shelter environment was scary for me. / Energy level: 6-8, so I’d like to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a dog-savvy, patient and experienced owner who enjoys training their dog and bonding through learning! I already know several commands like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘up’, ‘jump’, and ‘place’, and I’ve got great door and food manners - I’ll wait politely until I’m told it’s time to eat with the ‘break’ command. I’m smart and eager to learn, though my recall needs work so don’t let me off leash unless we’re in our fenced yard, and I’m working on my leash manners now. With patience, consistency, and love, I’ll thrive with someone who enjoys guiding me and helping me reach my full potential. (Oh, and I do tend to pick things up to eat on walks, so keep an eye on me!) / In my foster home I do very well in my crate and know the command “go to bed.” I relax quietly, especially if I have something to chew on. If I get bored, I might tear up a blanket or pillow, so it’s best not to leave me unsupervised for too long until I’ve earned that trust. I also get to go to work with my foster and do well in my crate there, too. / I’m doing well with my potty training! I let my people know most of the time when I need to go out, but sometimes I get a little too excited playing and forget – oops! I haven’t had any #2 accidents in my foster home, but I do try to snack on that – sorry about that.  My fosters just pick it up quickly since I’m a regular morning pooper and there are chewable deterrents that you could try over the counter that may help.   • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love belly rubs, playing tug, going on hikes and walks, and, of course, tearing up stuffies and squeaky toys! I have a blast playing with the other dogs, chewing on antlers (and pretty much anything else I can find), and enjoying healthy snacks. But my favorite thing of all? Just being with my people! / I can be nervous and fearful around certain things like loud noises, fast movements, or unusual objects such as bikes, strollers, or umbrellas - but I’m learning that they’re not so scary! Big crowds can overwhelm me, but I’ve done well in calmer public places like restaurants and stores that allow dogs. With patience and gentle encouragement, I know I’ll keep getting braver.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I should eat from a slow feeder bowl as I eat much too quickly and get a tummy ache.  I’m looking for a wonderful dog smart family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 24, 2025, 7:47 am

‘G’ THEMED FELLOW:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 30 lbs.  Hi, I’m Gizmo!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control with another dog and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers who spend time with and take great care of me.  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own – where I can love and be loved furever!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the other dog that I came in with, and I’ve met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, though I wasn’t quite ready to play, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.                • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a sweet, slightly timid but very friendly boy with an absolutely adorable personality.  I was very brave during my bath, letting out happy sighs during the shampoo scrub and staying calm for the rinse and ear cleaning.  I’m gentle, cuddly, and soak up affection - truly a sweet boy who just loves being loved. / Energy Level: 4-6.        • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’,  ‘come’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’, and ‘place’ commands and I greet friendly strangers without jumping on them.  I think I’m new to leash walking as I’m doing some pulling and I flatten out on the ground when I’m afraid of something, but I’m working on it. / I’m doing well in my little room at the shelter. I didn’t care for being in a crate and hurt my head when I was in it, so I don’t want to be crated in a metal crate please. / I’ve been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my new family to help me master my potty manners.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love treats and spending time hanging out with the nice volunteers on the front bench at Mostly Mutts and as I settle into my new home, I’m sure we’ll discover even more things that we will enjoy doing together. / Other than wire crates, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 3, 2026, 8:02 am

A SWEET & WONDERFUL FRIEND:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 41 lbs. Hello – I’m Kincaid!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am so happy to be soaking up the love from the volunteers.  Now I’m ready to find a wonderful home of my very own with a family to love and be loved by! I hope to meet them very soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and wasn’t quite ready to play with them, but I was very interested, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I quickly became a shelter favorite and am an all-around love bug! The volunteers describe me as a very sweet, friendly, happy, and a loving boy with a handsome face and a strong build.  I’m a fun guy who’s curious about the world and just the best kind of companion.  I’m strong and curious, and was an amazing, well-behaved bather who stayed relaxed in the tub and even enjoyed the scrub and rinsing off part. / Energy Level: 3-5.           • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning even more.  I’m working on my leash manners as I’m a strong boy and do pull a bit. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll want my new family to help me polish up my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love all the volunteers and giving them kisses to show just how sweet I am.  Head scratches are the best and I’m a total snuggle bug who enjoys my wishbone-shaped Nylabones, and of course - I really love treats, too! / I can’t think of any dislikes though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, some walks, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful loving dog looking for a family that will treasure me. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  January 3, 2026, 8:46 am

Story
A FUN, PLAYFUL & ACTIVE GUY:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 35 lbs.  Hi, my name is Asher!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m very grateful.  The volunteers are taken with my unusual breed mix and my handsome ginger brindle coat, and compact body.  I bet you will be, too! I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot!  I am currently in a wonderful foster home, where I am able to continue all of my training.  My foster mom and dad say that I am a VERY good student! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I have met other dogs at Mostly Mutts as well as in my foster home and liked them a lot!  I also played along the fence line with another doggie in a temporary foster home when my regular foster was away – what fun!!  I think I would ‘thrive’ in a home with another dog!  I can be barky when I see other dogs – not to worry – my trainer will show you how to introduce me to other dogs, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I get a little excited to see children, so kids age 10+ would be the best fit for me, as I wouldn’t want to bump over younger children and toddlers.  Of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet guy who has earned the reputation of being ‘goofy and funny’ around the shelter.  I’m happy with a fun nature, and sure to be a great addition to your family.  I am full of playful energy and am not shy about speaking my mind, so I don’t think an apartment/condo-type home would be a good fit for me.  I would love a backyard with a fence, as one of my favorite activities is chasing a ball.  I will even bring it back to you as long as you will throw it.  My foster parents have realized that I am also very good at entertaining myself inside, so I make a good office dog.  I really enjoy going on walks, and enjoy several of them during the day in my foster home.  I’m a lot of dog in a little package. I’m also very sweet and fun!  I am great in the shower, when my foster parents give me my weekly bath.  Affectionate and social, I have all the traits of a great companion. I, however, am not the kind of dog you would take to the kids’ sporting events, or a busy park, etc. since I can be reactive. I look forward to meeting all the members of my new home at my adoption! / My energy level is 6–8, so I am looking for a family member who will be active with me.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I get distracted by sounds I hear on my walk that I don’t recognize, so my trainer is using the ‘leave it’ command to keep me on track on our walks.  I’m very food motivated, so that makes my training fun and yummy! / I did well in my little room at Mostly Mutts. In my foster home, I have perfect crate manners, and easily go into my crate when my foster parents have to leave the house.  I even put myself to bed at night, by going into my crate without being asked. / In my foster home, I have had perfect potty manners and have not had a single accident.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE toys and enjoy having fun with them and I can entertain myself with a toy while you're busy, or if you prefer, I'd love to play fetch — just throw me a ball!  I’d enjoy a nice, fenced yard where we can have lots of play sessions together.  When it’s time to chill, I always enjoy a good petting and some cuddles with my people.  I secretly believe that I am a lap dog, so often times I will sit in your lap and wrap my front legs around your neck for a big hug.  I also enjoy my walks, but I need a strong walker, as I am a strong boy and can be reactive to people and other animals on walks.  I absolutely love car rides, so let's hit the road and find some nice, more quiet places to explore together! / I have been frightened by certain loud motors, the vacuum etc. so I don’t like those. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a dog savvy family where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 26, 2025, 6:30 am
