Story
Maggie Jane (goes by Meggie) is a playful and happy american bulldog mix, born on 4-26-14 weighing 69lbs. She is full of personality and loves everyone she meets! She happily greets the vet, neighbors, and quickly wins everyone over. She is an affectionate and loving girl who enjoys being close to her people. Maggie is a bossy alpha girl, and does best with a strong human leader. She is dog friendly (so long as they remember who is boss!) and she is also cat friendly. Maggie is crate trained (up to 8hr) and is house trained. This low key gal has a medium energy level - her favorite pastimes include playing with toys and sunbathing in the yard. Maggie would love a forever home that has a fenced yard (no apartment or condos), older kids, and family members that will take her on fun adventures. This girl loves going for car rides, so she will make an excellent addition to a family who enjoys taking their pup out on the town. Maggie is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Maggie, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. Story
Ava Ariel (aka Hazel Gray) is an adorable bulldog mix, born on 9-15-17, weighing 65lbs. She is best described as an absolute love bug and a total sweetheart! This smart girl knows all her basic commands, and has good leash manners - she is well trained on the &#34heel&#34 command. She&#39s easily trained, as she is food motivated! Ava is both crate trained and house trained, and has a low/medium energy level. She is friendly with other dogs her size or larger and enjoys spending time with her people. This sweet girl would do great in a home with another dog, or as the only pet. She&#39s met kids ages 5yr and up and has done well. No kitties for Ava. She does have storm and loud noise anxiety, but this is easily managed with her medication and by allowing her to find a comfy spot with calming music playing. Ava is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. For more information about Molly, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. Story
Bane is a beautiful grey and white American Bulldog/Pitbull Mix. He weighs 65lbs, and is ~7yr old. Bane is a total sweetheart and just wants to snuggle up with his humans all the time! He is friendly and gets along well with dogs, kids, and everyone he meets. Bane had a rough start to his life - he was used as a breeding dog who was kept crated nearly all day. His owner surrendered him to BarkVille Dog Rescue when he had to go to jail and had no one to care for him. Bane&#39s foster Mom reports that he has one of the best temperaments and is just a total love! Bane is house broken, crate trained, and has good leash manners. He has a medium energy level but isn&#39t overly playful - he loves to lounge around and snuggle. With his chill demeanor, he would be an excellent companion for someone who works from home, is retired, or would do well in a quiet home with older children/teens. Due to his sad past, he does have some separation anxiety. This seems to improve once he settles into his routine and knows he will not be left for good. Bane will eat toys or items he thinks are &#34his&#34 so he shouldn&#39t be left alone with items he could mistakenly swallow. Bane is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
What's not to love about me? I'm cute, petite, a super snuggler and I heard some guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which might explain my high prey drive. I love my 4 legged family members in my foster home, but they should probably not be in a farm setting. Also, no cats or rabbits, please. I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained. What I don't do well is walk on a leash. I would need lots of patience and training. I can act very crazy and unruly while on walks, and even scream a bit because I'm over-excited, so teaching me how to redirect/refocus would be my number one priority. I would rather have a home that has a nice, secure,  tall fence. That way I won't get the crazies.   I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 8-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online. Story
Hi, I’m Pistol Pete, my fosters call me Petey, I’m a strong, healthy, playful, boy that likes to play, run, fetch and am full of energy. I am just one years old, and hoping to find my forever home. I would love a fenced in yard, so I can play and sometimes just enjoy laying in the sunshine. I get along with other dogs, children, and I do well out and about on the town meeting new people and friends.    I might be a tripod, but I don’t know it, I have no problems with stairs or jumping into your lap if you’d like me to. I’m a loving, cuddly boy and I’m a fast learner, as you can see, I’m quite the handsome boy as well! Oh, and I absolutely love care rides.    Please consider adopting  me as I would be a loyal, fun and loving companion. I won’t let you down!    An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
