Story
Meet Calvin🩵 Calvin's tale began with a rescue from a slaughterhouse as a young pup. Initially staying at Korean City Shelter, Calvin and his siblings narrowly escaped euthanasia a year later at Adogs. Calvin awaits an adoptive or lifelong family to envelop him in warmth and love. 🙏🏻 *Energy Level (1~10): Lv. 5 *Social Relationships: Gets along well with shelter dog friends. Suggests a preference for a home where he can be the only child due to a temperamental attitude toward more aggressive friends. *Temperament: Timid with a touch, may exhibit a pupil earthquake. Rapid improvement is expected in a loving environment. *Training: Responds well to "house," showcasing intelligence. Calvin, with his pricked ears and wistful eyes, is ready to be embraced by a caring family. Consider bringing Calvin into your home, providing the love and security he deserves. 🐾

Story
Meet Cupcake, a great all-around dog! She was found by a county deputy on the side of the highway, where she was cuddling her dog friend who had been hit by a car. The cop actually thought she had been hit also because she was laying with him after he had passed! We think they were both dumped. Cupcake really needs a best friend to snuggle with! Her ideal would be someone who works from home with at least a small fenced yard. She just wants affection and would love to host doggie play dates and then crash out on the couch. She is a moderate energy level. Cupcake is good with adults, children and other dogs. Really, a great pup! Thank you! And Cupcake thanks you, as well! Story
Fetty is an amazing dog. She is named after the rapper Fetty Wap, due to her having an eye just like him, She is a pure American bulldog, we have the DNA test to prove it, She has been in our home for a year and some months and we love her so much, she has a human brother and sister who she LOVES to play with. Fetty loves going to the dog park, barking at nothing because she is a strong protective girl, LOVES to snuggle so you must be a snuggler if you want to take this beautiful girl home, she would be great for someone with ptsd, anxiety, she loves people, loves treats, but is allergic to any chicken products.

Story
Welcome Contessa to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 6-year-old American Bulldog/Pittie mix is our guess. She has an adorable blue and one brown eye. She weighs about 50 pounds and is good with other dogs. She barks at her kennel door so her best place would be with a wooden privacy fence. She is moderate to low activity and loves to be touched. She is good in her crate and will make some lucky family a good companion. She is lower energy so she could go with a more relaxed and laid-back family. She could also go with children. We like them to be 10 or older. She was found as a stray on the construction site and had to survive until a good Samaritan caught her and brought her to CCPAL rescue. She warms up slowly but bonds deeply to her people. She has fallen in love with the kennel fellas. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 180. She is healthy, vaccinated, spayed and ready for her forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Get ready for a lifetime of cuddles and perma-puppy eyes with Max! His foster parents say this about him: "Max is an absolute love bug! He has a lot of energy and zoomies, but settles in quickly, making himself at home. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and sleep next to you on the bed (if allowed). He does quite well on a leash! Max is doing a great job learning how to sit and to come when called. He's also loves trying all types of new foods and has become a big fan of apples, carrots, and celery. An adorable thing about him is he can't help but start drooling when he knows he's about to get one of his favorite treats!" Max is ready to make your family complete!
