Story
Say hello to Bella, the charming and spirited pup who’s ready to steal your heart! Bella is all about playtime, especially with her fellow rescue pals—she could spend hours frolicking in the yard! While it may take her a little time to warm up, once Bella trusts you, she’ll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Bella thrives on slow introductions with well-balanced dogs, making her an ideal companion for other furry friends that match her energy. She’s crate-trained and settles in easily, though her playful nature means doggy beds don’t stand a chance—they quickly become her favorite toys! Highly motivated by treats, Bella is eager to learn and responds well to training. She walks well on a leash but can get easily distracted, so a gentle leader might help her focus during outings. Though Bella prefers the comforts of home, she’ll need a little encouragement to embrace the joys of a walk. She can feel anxious around other dogs on her adventures, sometimes expressing her excitement a bit loudly. But remember, every rescue has their quirks, and Bella’s incredible qualities far outweigh any challenges! Bella is ready to find her forever home with a family that understands and loves her just as she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will fill your days with joy, Bella is the perfect match! To add Bella to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2149754##

Story
Hi! My name is Penn and I am available for adoption.I`m an easy going dog here in the shelter, and not much is known about my past. I can be a bit reserved at first but I promise I`m very fun once I warm up! I keep my kennel clean which suggests I do have some prior potty training but my new family should be prepared for a learning period when I first come home. I came in originally with another dog and I`ve met other dogs in playgroups! I would likely enjoy the company of a furry friend in my new home, but you can always bring your dog to meet me at the shelter just to be sure. Ask my caretakers more about my playgroup dates to get to know more about me!I am considered a large breed dog.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Bella 2.5 YO 60 Pounds Leash Trained Hi, I’m Bella!, I am a gorgeous sweet girl that is in the process of learning a lot of new skills and settling in to life with stability, and routine. I have blossomed into the most devoted and loyal dog partner anyone could want. I am learning about what life should be like for me, I am learning how to play and enjoy life. I am a delight in the house so I have not needed a crate, although, I could learn to use one. I really enjoy car rides, belly rubs, and walks, of course the finest things in life. I have a natural tail that starts first thing in the morning and goes all day. I am an all-around happy girl that is looking or an active family that is willing to continue to help me bloom with training, and building routines. If you think I am the girl you have been looking for, click my link to meet me. Story
Hi, I’m Rose! I am a beautiful middle age gal, that is so cute and so snuggly. If I see a lap, I will crawl right up to cuddle, and since I'm quite petite, I can fit into any lap. What luck! I love going for walks on a sunny day, my foster family takes me and my foster brother into the woods near their house. I love to run and explore there, and I have been known to dive into a nearby bush to see what critter might be living under there. When you get out my harness and leash, I'll spin around and do a tap dance to show you just how excited I am to go for a walk! I've learned to sit for harnessing, but I still need to practice waiting at the door because once I'm leashed up I'm ready to goooooo! I'm also new to all this rain and darkness in the PNW, so please help me learn that it's Ok and keep me walking. I would love a buddy in my new home to go on walks with. Car rides are Ok with me! I've even taken the ferry! I can jump into the car on my own and I settle once the car is moving. It is tempting to explore what's outside the windows so be sure to clip my leash into the seatbelt. I have learned to share a bed with my foster brother and I can eat in the same room as him (though I have to be reminded to let him finish before I help clean up any mess he leaves behind). I prefer to have all the human attention on me, so I might be best as an only pup or with one that doesn’t care if I keep all the attention for myself. But I'll give you so much love that you won't need anyone else! If you think that I’m the gal for you, click my link so we can go for a walk. Finely 9 MO 45 Pounds Kid Friendly Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Bend, OR Dear future family, I'm Finely! I am so excited for a second chance in a loving home. Yes, I am a puppy, but I am the best combination of fun and quiet. I definitely like my walks and time outside, but I am also happy in my cozy dog bed. I am getting better on the leash and have been practicing a lot. I know some of the basics like sit and am very capable of learning more commands, I am very smart and eager to learn. Sometimes I get to play in a friends huge fenced yard, I have surprised my foster dad with my amazing recall. Currently I am in a foster home with a big brother that I adore, I would love a buddy in my new home to pal around with. My foster dad appreciates that I can sleep through the night with no problem at all. You won't hear a peep from me until you are ready to start your day! Story
Hi there—I'm Fiona! I'm a spunky 40-pound girl with a beautiful white coat accented by cute brown markings. I’m currently hanging out with my NWBR foster family while I search for my forever home, and I’d love to share my adventures with you. I’m a total ball of energy—I can’t help but run like the wind, especially when there's a hint of food or a fun game of chase on the horizon. I love to play tug-of-war with my dog friends and zoom around until I’m tuckered out. At first, I might be a bit shy, but once I warm up, I’m all about cuddles and loyalty. I’m still mastering house training and crate training (I promise I’m trying!), but I make up for it with heaps of enthusiasm and love. I get along great with other dogs once we break the ice and I’m friendly with everyone I meet. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, then I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you and start a new chapter filled with fun, love, and endless play!
