Story
*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe St NW between 12pm-7pm daily!Meet Olive! Olive is a sweet and enthusiastic companion who loves greeting and welcoming her favorite people with a wagging tail and happy spirit. She enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world around her, especially when there are plenty of interesting scents to investigate. Sniffing adventures are some of her favorite activities! On a recent field trip, she loved hiking, sniffing, splashing in water, playing tug, and meeting new people. She was great on leash and great in the car.Olive would benefit from a little positive reinforcement training to help her polish her leash manners and learn new skills, but she`s a quick learner who is eager to please. With consistency, encouragement, and a few tasty treats, Olive is sure to thrive and continue growing into an amazing companion. If you`re looking for a friendly, curious, and loving dog who will happily join you on walks and adventures, Olive may be the perfect match for your family!

Story
Meet Binky 💕 Some dogs have every reason not to trust people. Binky isn’t one of them. Before rescue, Binky was used for breeding, bringing litter after litter of puppies into the world. We may never know how many babies she raised, but we do know she gave everything she had to them. Even after all she’s been through, her heart is still wide open. Binky absolutely adores people. She loves meeting new friends, happily welcomes strangers, and is wonderful with children and teens. Her favorite place is right beside her humans, curled up for a cozy movie night or snuggled on the couch after a long day. Now that her puppies are growing up and finding families of their own, it’s finally Binky’s turn to be someone’s baby. Binky would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she’s waited so long to receive. She’s spent her life giving to everyone else. Now she’s ready for someone to choose her. ❤️ Adopt Binky. Give this incredible girl the life she’s always deserved. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Justice is a sweet, gentle boy with the most soulful eyes. While he can be shy at first, once he warms up to his people, he transforms into a total lovebug! He is incredibly cuddly and affectionate, and once he knows he is safe, his absolute favorite thing in the world is sharing some quality couch time with his humans. Justice is crate trained and adores other dogs—he truly loves having a canine companion. He has also spent time around small children and has done wonderfully with them. In his foster home, Justice has been making incredible strides: he has mastered going outside confidently by himself, has started playing adorable solo games of fetch by tossing his own tennis ball, and is a wonderful listener who redirects beautifully to a gentle "No thank you." As a sensitive guy, Justice does best when he can take his time and come to you for affection on his own terms. Because of this, he would thrive in a home with a confident, respectful second dog who can show him the ropes and help build his confidence. With a little patience and a welcoming heart, Justice is ready to show you what being a cherished family member is all about. Amazon wishlist for Justice: https://a.co/09FRXsIw ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Meet Hope — a beautiful Boxer girl who has already overcome so much and is finally ready for the happy ending she deserves. ❤️Hope is a 7-year-old purebred Boxer, but please don’t let that number fool you. This girl has the heart, energy, and playful spirit of a much younger Boxer. She bounces, prances, dances, and barrels through life with a zest that is impossible not to smile at. She is the kind of dog whose happiness is contagious.Hope came to Critter Cavalry Rescue during a heartbreaking time. Her beloved owner became critically ill and was ultimately unable to care for her, and when Hope came into rescue, she weighed only 35 pounds and was painfully underweight. Her owner’s greatest wish was that she would be given the best life possible, and that is exactly the promise we made to him.Today, Hope is a healthy 46 pounds and absolutely thriving in her foster home. She is currently living with several other Boxers and has fit right in as though she has always been part of the crew. She is wonderfully social and genuinely enjoys making friends. Dogs, children, adults — if you are willing to be her friend, Hope is ready to love you!Hope is also a very good girl in the house. She is completely potty trained, knows her basic commands, and is so well mannered that she does not need to be crated when left home alone. She is easygoing, affectionate, and responds well to gentle guidance. But what really makes Hope special is her spirit. She has been through a major life change, yet she has come through it with her joyful personality completely intact. She still believes the world is a wonderful place and that every day is an opportunity to play, explore, and love someone new.Hope would love an active Boxer-loving family who will give her plenty of playtime, attention, and opportunities to enjoy life. Another dog who appreciates a playful companion would be wonderful, especially one who doesn’t mind her endless Boxer enthusiasm!Hope has spent enough time waiting for her tomorrow. Now she needs the forever family who will give her the bright future her name promises. She is fully vetted, microchipped, thriving, and ready to make the next chapter of her life the very best one yet.If you think Hope could be the joyful, energetic Boxer girl your family has been waiting for, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 16, 2026, 10:21 pm

Story
Ruthie is a 2-year-old, 60-lb Boxer mix with a gentle soul and a brilliant mind. Before coming into rescue, Ruthie lived on her own for at least 6 months, skillfully evading capture, multiple trapping attempts, and surviving in an industrial area of town. Fed by kind mechanics and workers, she learned how to stay safe, avoid danger, and always show up for food — and that intelligence still shines through today. After a dramatic capture, Ruthie has been in a foster home, where she’s proven to be a very polite houseguest. She is fully house-trained and, even at her scariest moments, has never shown a hint of aggression — no growling, no raised lips, just fear. Ruthie is shy and deeply cautious with people, but she is sweet, gentle, and incredibly observant. We would not be surprised if Ruthie spent some of her life in someone’s home.  This brainy girl reads the room like a pro. She knows when a human might approach and will quietly skedaddle to keep herself feeling safe. While she’s still very nervous about leashes and handling, she allows most people to gently scratch her muzzle, and she’s learning — slowly but surely — that human touch isn’t such a bad thing. Watching her progress has been incredibly rewarding, especially as she’s started to enjoy ear scratches and soft affection from her foster mom. Ruthie is a great pack dog. She does beautifully with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and enjoys playful wrestling with dogs her size, but doesn’t demand play.  She happily coexists with the resident Chihuahua in her foster home. Ruthie is calm and content indoors and also enjoys a daily visit to the dog park. She’s a quiet presence who’s perfectly happy lounging on a chair, listening to her foster mom’s Zoom calls, and soaking in the safety of home life. At home, Ruthie is her foster mom’s quiet shadow. She sleeps in her room, wiggles with excitement when she comes home, follows her around the dog park — and yet may still hop off her bed and slip away if that same foster mom walks toward her for a pet. With Ruthie, trust is built in tiny, meaningful moments, and every day brings progress. Because of her history, Ruthie is a high flight-risk dog, especially in the early days. She will need a very committed adopter with a securely fenced yard, experience with fearful or flight-risk dogs, and a willingness to use safety tools like GPS collars, double leashes, and secure handling. Strength matters too — this is a 60-lb girl who needs someone confident and prepared. Ruthie has been around children at the dog park and treats them like little adults — with polite, reserved hesitation. She is food-motivated, sweet, and incredibly smart. With patience, structure, and time, she has all the makings of a truly special companion. Ruthie is one of those dogs who, with the right adopter and a few committed months of trust-building, will become a dream dog. Watching her finally relax, feel safe, and just be a dog has been an absolute privilege — and we can’t wait to see her find the forever home she deserves. ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 16, 2026, 10:21 pm

Story
House trained: Yes Energy level: Medium Noise level: Barks occasionally My foster guardian says: "My favorite thing about Rhiannon is everything about Rhiannon! She's the best!" Hi, I'm Rhiannaon, and I'm a rockstar of a dog! Everyone I meet says that I'm the best girl, and my foster family sings my praises too! They're like my own personal hypemen! I'm a super sweet, happy, confident, well-behaved pup who gets along with everybody, human and canine alike. I'd love ot have a doggy foster sibling in my future home, though being an only child would be taking center stage...I'd be good with that! Some of my favorite things to do are play with my toys, learn new tricks, and cuddle with my foster family! They say that I'm always hopeful about being let in the bed to snuggle at nighttime, though my cuddle career has been couch-bound up to this point. I think if I keep turning on the puppy dog eyes (a special talent of mine), I'll crack them soon! I'm also a lover of all toys, and I have the best time ever chewing, squeaking, tugging, and snuffling with all my stuffed animals and tugs. Going for walks and being outside is another activity that I love, and can't wait to do with my forever family. I like to observe the wildlife, sniff all the smells, and greet everyone we pass by. If you're looking for a social butterfly of a dog, I'm your girl. Though I have lots of energy for walks and playing, I'm really a mellow girl at heart, and I settle down quickly for naps once the excitement is over. My foster family likes to brag about how smart and trainable I am, and its true! I already know 'sit', and I'm working on 'shake' too. I'm also very good about going in my crate, and sleeping there overnight (at least until operation bed takeover is successful, see above). I'm also a good listener, and very attentive. I love learning new things, especially when treats are involved! So, that's my artist CV! I'm the full-package, right? I'd be the star addition to any family, so apply to adopt me today! Please visit our website www.ruraldogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other dogs available for adoption!
