Story
Reid in an adorable 4 year old Pit Bull. He weighs 65lbs and is neutered, potty trained, and crate trained (although he is very good in the house and currently doesn’t need a crate at his foster home). Reid absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with them. He will greet you with the biggest smile and the happiest tail wags when you come home and will follow you around from room to room just to be close to you. He would like to be the only dog in the home so he can get all the love and attention for himself! Reid would do best in a calm home with a relaxing lifestyle since he is nervous when meeting new people and going to new places. Reid is muzzle trained and will happily let you put it on to take him to the vet, for a walk, or when you have company over. Reid loves to chew on his bones, get belly rubs, and lay outside soaking up the sun. He walks well on a leash and loves to take a few laps around the block and explore all the sights and smells. Reid is a very sweet dog who wants to kick back and enjoy the comfort of a quiet nap on a comfy bed. Story
Name: Denzel Age: 10/10/21 (2yrs) Breed: Pit Bull terrier Weight: 55 lbs Gender: Male Hi there! My name is Denzel! I was named that because the ladies who took me in at a local shelter thought I was a very suave, cool man. I'm easy-going, well-mannered, and sweet. I was abandoned locally with no shelter, food, or water and I was brought to a shelter back in August. While I was there, my foster mom worked with me and my puppy dog eyes worked! She took me home! I am crate trained and house trained, but still have accidents here and there. I am getting very comfortable falling asleep on a couch or one of the soft dog beds around the house! I live with an 8 year old boy and I've figured out that kids are pretty fun! I also live with four other dogs and they've been teaching me how to be a dog. I love kisses (giving and getting them), cuddles, treats, toys, and walk like a gentleman on a leash! I know how to sit very well, am learning some other basic commands, and come running when my name is called because it probably means food or something fun! If you are interested in Denzel, please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue on Facebook, if you're already approved. ##1849316##

Story
Hi everyone!  My name is Kiwi and I am as sweet as the fruit. I'm an 11 month old pitbull mix.  I love to snuggle up and take a nice nap ( I also have the cutest snores ). I give the sweetest kisses. It takes me a little bit to warm up to people but I love playing with other dogs. I have an ugly scar down my back but it doesn’t seem to bother me much.  My crate is my safe space so I have no issues hanging out in there with some toys. I sleep really well at night in my crate without a peep.  I am pretty good at going potty outside but sometimes I have a little accident.  If you are looking for a pint size snugggle bug, apply at buffalounderdogs.com. ##1899976##

Story
I'm Rex from Texas, a very handsome black and brown brindle with a touch of orange and a white chest. Google photos says I'm a Plott / Mountain Cur mix, but my DNA came back: 54% Pit, 22% Supermutt (Mountain Cur, Plott Hound, Rat Terrier, and Bluetick Coonhound), 16% Catahoula Leopard, and 9% Treeing Walker Coonhound. I arrived in Buffalo Dec 21st; 2023 was not easy for me. I was found in June, chained to a post, at 23 lbs. lying outside a liquor store in rural southeast Texas, completely emaciated. My hero/foster mom who found me thought I was dead and was surprised when I raised my head, then stood and wobbled toward her. I was fostered back to health in TX, neutered in July, then treated for heartworm and gained 24 lbs. There I was super dog friendly and loved my toys. The Buffalo vet thinks I'm a young adult, 2-3 years old. I'm walking 2-3 miles a day with my foster mom so am now a perfect size ~45 lbs. I can become excited when I see other dogs on my walks, so we're working on that by distracting me with treats. I'm pretty much housebroken, though may take time to adjust in my new home. I sleep through the night in my crate  and spend a lot of time in it voluntarily during the day. I love car rides, and hardly ever bark. I can be a little shy but every day am becoming more confident - living in a house is great, especially with all my toys. I've just learned sit. I am a total love, sweet and gentle, and turn into a giant puppy the moment I meet a squeaky toy. I also love a good game of tug or competitive zoomies.  With proper introductions I love other dogs and would absolutely thrive in a home with another canine playmate(s). Please apply to meet me at www.buffalounderdogs.com ##1891671##

Story
Hello! My name is Olaf, and if you're looking for a handsome guy to keep you company, look no further! I’m an American pitbull terrier, almost 2 yrs old and 70 lbs. I've been living in a foster home and would love to find a place to call my forever home. I've learned a lot of things, but most of all I've learned that being with people that love me is the best of all! I know sit, paw and down, and love to work for treats. I have a canine foster sister and have gotten along with plenty of other dogs I've met, a playmate could be lots of fun! I love chew toys, ear scratches, and being with my people. My foster family says whoever gets to love me forever will be very lucky! If I sound like the type of guy you'd like to meet, fill out an application at www.buffalounderdogs.com and ask for Olaf! ##1950116##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there, my name is Minnie!!   I am a sweet girl who may be small in stature, but I have mountains of love to give.  I am a very affectionate girl and love to cuddle and give lots of kisses. At around 30 pounds and 1-year-old, my foster Mom says that I am a gorgeous wrinkly-faced, pity mix lady who is the exact definition of a lap dog.  I love meeting new people and will quickly show off my belly for rubs, which is one of my favorite things! I am currently living with two foster dog-siblings and love to play with them. I am mostly house-trained and although I may still have an accident, they are becoming less frequent every day, so I should have it down in no time.  I love those things they call treats, and I am highly food motivated, making training me so much easier, as I will do anything for a treat!!  I know some basic commands and I respond well to my name.  My foster Mom says I am the sweetest and most loving pup around, do you want to meet me and see? I am hoping for a home that will let me be the most snuggly lap-pup that I was certainly born to be. The best forever home for me would probably be one with another pup, since I love to play, but of course would require a proper warm-up/meet and greet to be sure that we can be the best playmates ever. If you are interested in meeting me and getting in some cuddles, please apply for me today at BuffaloCares.org, I will be waiting for you! Hugs and kisses, Minnie! Story
Hello, I am unfortunately Rehoming Winnie, she is 5 years old pit mix (I was told black lab and pitbull) I’ve had her, her whole life. She deserves better. She needs room to run and play. My senior dog can not keep up with her. She just has too much energy and it gets on his nerves. She needs someone who can take her for multiple walks or have a big enough, fenced in yard. She has no biting history. She is not fixed but is up to date on her shots and is on a monthly treatment for fleas and ticks. She has never been sick, no allergies, very healthy. Winnie is used to being with another dog, I believe with proper introduction she would be just fine with a sibling. She isn’t good with cats, not aggressive, just chases them and stresses them out. Kids, she would be good with older children I would say kids under 10 wouldn’t be great since she does get excited and likes to jump and sit on your lap. She has a great personality, very sassy. She talks back and makes you laugh all the time.

Story
Archie is a handsome almost 4 -year-old pup weighing around 45 to 50 pounds. With his endearing personality and gentle demeanor, Archie has won over the hearts of everyone he meets. He's particularly fond of feline friends and gets along famously with female dogs. However, he prefers and needs a home without male dogs, as he feels more comfortable in their absence. Despite past uncertainties, Archie's resilience shines through. He's a bit shy at first, needing some time and patience to acclimate to new surroundings and people. But once he feels secure, he blossoms into a loyal and affectionate companion, ready to shower his new family with endless love and devotion. Archie is a pro at crate training and is already neutered. Plus, rest assured, he'll be up-to-date on all his vaccinations before joining his forever home. In a gesture of goodwill, Archie's adoption fee will be offered at a special reduced rate for the right family. This is our way of ensuring that Archie finds the perfect match and his forever home. One touching testament to Archie's sweet nature is the heartfelt goodbye from his previous caretaker. Through tears, he spoke of Archie's goodness and the joy he would bring to his future family. It's clear that Archie's love knows no bounds, and he's ready to share it with you. If you believe Archie could be the missing piece to complete your family puzzle, don't hesitate to reach to fill out an application to arrange a meet-and-greet with this incredible pup. Let's make 2024 the year Archie finds his happily ever after.

PiperFemale, SpayedBull terrier mix1 year45lbs If I could describe Piper in four words it would be: loving, smart, motivated, and clingy. From the time I have had Piper in our foster home she loves cuddles, getting the zoomies, playing fetch, and looking out the window.  She can be a bit mischievous when left alone for prolong periods of time. And over protective over some objects she can get a hold of, but she always up for a trade by a tasty treat! She is a quiet dog, house trained, potty trained, prong collar trained, crate trained, muzzle trained, knows some command's, and walks nicely! She does have a happy tail and is currently healing, in our experience so far with Piper it is so well worth helping her through this healing process. She would prefer being in a home with a couple or even a singular person home, she prefers to be an only fur baby as well. If you are interested in Piper, please apply at https://www.nickelcitycaninerescue.org/adopt-a-dog or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved. ##1954405##

Meet Rosie, a super sweet girl with a heart as big as Texas! Rosie had a bit of an adventurous stint as a stray, but now she's all set to find her perfect forever home.Rosie is a furry socialite who gets along wonderfully with her fellow doggie pals. However, she does have one little quirk—cats and Rosie aren't exactly a match made in heaven. Those frisky felines tend to trigger her playful chase instincts! When it comes to humans, Rosie is a total cuddlebug. She's convinced she's a lap dog and won't hesitate to hop right up for some quality snuggle time. But here's the fun part: Rosie's got a spirited teenage attitude. When she's told "no" or caught doing something she shouldn't, she's not one to back down quietly—she'll talk back with all the sass!If you're ready to bring a sweet and silly addition to your family, Rosie is more than prepared for her forever home. And yes, she's absolutely transportable, so don't let the Texas distance discourage you, transport only costs $230. Apply today and let the fun begin!*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
