Story
Nero is an amazing, loving & sweet Pit Bull mix. He has been a perfect addition to our family for almost 6 years, but with our new living situation cannot come with us. Nero is a great listener, is fully potty trained & only has an accident when he isn’t taken out when needed. Nero does have skin allergies that need attention that we have not been able to fully address & treat. Nero is a rescue so he is timid sometimes & does require a thunder jacket when there are fireworks, rain or thunder. Nero is extremely quiet & really only growls or barks when he hears something he’s not sure about. With whoever takes this sweet boy into their home, we would like to be able to visit when it is convenient as we are going to miss having him greet us when we come home & loving us as much as we love him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Sander and I am a 3-year-old staffie/pittie mix with a soft beautiful brindle coat. I was found as a stray right here in Buffalo and I was living at the Buffalo Animal shelter until my foster mama took me in. Once I get to know you, I will be your best friend, give you endless kisses and snuggle up on your lap even though I weigh almost 60 lbs. I live with three other dogs right now of all different sizes. I really don't like cats, so no kitty friends for me. But I have been friends with every human I have met from big to small. I love running outside and belly rubs galore. I am  ready for a family of my own if you are ready for a lifetime of loyalty and love you can apply for me today at @buffalocares.org Adoption Fee: $425.00 RR48  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi!  My name is Rosie and I am beautiful brindle ,American Pitbull terrier/mix.  I am a very sweet and loving girl.  My foster parents like to call me Miss. Piggy because when I get excited I snort a little! You see, I’m just your happy-go-lucky best friend in the making! I find joy in the simple things—laying in the grass, playing with my little puppy buddy next door, taking short strolls, or proudly destuffing toys like it’s an Olympic sport. And cuddles? Always a yes. But if you really want to see me light up, give me a ball. I’ll play for hours, making the most ridiculous noises that, sound like a mix between a seal and a pig! I might cry a little when I can’t reach it or playtime ends, but I’m also perfectly content curling up in my crate for a long nap. I may be getting older, but my heart is forever young and full of love you think I would be a good fit for your home please apply today @buffalocares.org My adoption fee is $425.00 RR48  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hi, I’m Quinn! I’m a Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle soul and a heart. Once I get to know you, my true personality shines I’m sweet, affectionate, and happiest when I can be near my people. I’m not the wild, bouncy type — I’m more of a medium-energy girl who enjoys a good balance of playtime and relaxing. I love: Chewing on bones and stuffies Treats (I’m very treat-motivated!) Playing with other dogs Lounging near my humans once I trust them I live with other dogs and do great with them, and I’m good with kids once I’m properly introduced.  I’m also pretty proud of my manners — I’m potty trained, crate trained, and I know commands like sit, down, and crate. I walk nicely on a leash and I’m still getting used to car rides. My ideal home would be a calmer environment with patient humans who are willing to help me build confidence through love, routine, and gentle socialization. In return, I promise to be a loyal, loving companion who will stay close once I know I belong.  I can be  very shy when meeting new people , so I’m hoping my future family understands that love sometimes grows slowly — and that’s okay. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who will form a deep bond and truly appreciate your kindness, I just might be your Quinn  Apply today at @ Buffalocares.org to make Quinn part of your family. Story
Name: KincaidBreed: Pitt MixAge: 10/22/23 (2 years old)Sex: Male neuteredLocation: BuffaloWeight: 40lbsKincaid’s Story: A Tale of Hope and HeartOnce upon a time, there was a dog named Kincaid — though he didn’t always have that name. Before he was “Kincaid,” he was just another soul wandering the streets, scared and alone. He didn’t understand why he’d been left behind, why the people he loved were gone, or how he was supposed to survive on his own.The days were long, the nights were cold, and the world didn’t seem to have a place for him. He searched for food, for kindness, for someone to look past his tough exterior and see his gentle heart. But everywhere he went, people turned away. They saw a pit bull — and they saw “scary.” They didn’t see the loving, loyal boy behind those big, soulful eyes.Still, Kincaid never gave up. Like the Buffalo Bills, he believed that even when things looked bleak, there was always a chance to turn it around. One day, a kind man found him wandering and brought him to the shelter. Kincaid was relieved to finally be safe — but soon, he overheard the words that crushed his spirit: “No one wants him.” Days turned into weeks and nobody came for him. Then, one heartbreaking day, he heard the shelter staff whisper, “It’s time… no one’s interested. He’s taking up space.” Kincaid lowered his head, his hope flickering — until a woman stepped forward. She looked at him, really looked at him, and said, “I believe in you. You deserve a chance.” She named him Kincaid, after Dalton Kincaid of the Buffalo Bills — a player who always steps up when times get tough, who proves that determination and heart can change everything. And just like that, Kincaid’s story took its turn.Today, Kincaid is waiting for his forever home — one filled with warmth, laughter, and love. He’s a lover of people, life, and ear scratches. He’ll greet you with a wagging tail, a grateful heart, and the spirit of a team that never quits.Kincaid is available for adoption now, ready to bring joy, hope, and unconditional love into your life. Because just like his namesake, when life gets tough, Kincaid steps up — and he’ll always be your loyal teammate. Kincaid is currently working on potty training, knows sit and walks well on a leash. If you are interested in Kincaid please apply at https://www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue on Facebook, if you're already approved.  ##2587304##

Story
Hey there My name is Bertie  but my friends call me Mr B. I am a young (1yr old) Pit bull mix & weigh just over 50lbs. I’m crate / house trained, walk well on a leash & love being close to my humans. I do need to be close to my human at all times but sleep all night in my crate without needing to go out. My foster dad calls me his shadow.  I live with him & have a cat sibling but she needs her own space as I’m too playful & wary of her   I like meeting new people but it takes me a minute to warm up. I like car rides & am working on not hugging everyone I meet. I love treats & am very food motivated! Which makes training easy   I am ready for a family of my own. Could that be with you? Apply to meet me at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  Ps. I’m best suited to a quieter house with no young children, please! ##2353833##
