Story
Meet Fraggle! Pit Mix • Male • ~13 months • 30 lbs Fraggle is a sweet local boy rescued from CBAS, and he is so ready for his second chance! This handsome nugget loves nothing more than being right by your side—your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your built-in best friend. After spending time in the shelter, Fraggle is still learning home manners and perfecting his potty routine. A yard of his very own would make his tail wag nonstop! He’s not the biggest fan of the crate and would much rather curl up next to you at night. This playful guy LOVES toys, enjoys walks, and aims to please. Fraggle appears to be kid- and dog-friendly with proper introductions, and we’re still unsure about cats. Fraggle will thrive with patience, love, and a family willing to guide him as he discovers how wonderful life outside the shelter can be. He has all the potential to be the world’s greatest best friend. Think Fraggle could be your new sidekick? Apply to adopt at buddysrescue.org! (7)   ##2601017##

Story
ZuesPossible Breed- Pit Mix5 Years old60 lbsMale (Neutered)Say Hi to Zues ! This hunk was a local stray that needed a place to stay. Unfortunately he was too strong for his foster and he ended up in boarding due to not having any appropriate foster homes available. Zeus is a very strong boy with reactivity to other animals. He was working with our trainers on helping with that, but it would be much more beneficial if he was in a foster home to do that! He would need to be the only animal and no children under 16 due to his size. He LOVES people and has NEVER showed ANY aggression towards a human. He has so much love to give! We do think a fenced in yard would be best for him. If you think that you might wanna Foster sweet Zeus, please fill out a Foster application on our website under the application tab at Buddysrescue.org.Our organization does cover the cost of training,, vetting, and all supplies. Meet Penny! The local little Pittie with a Big Heart 1.5 years • 40 lbs (still needs a few groceries ) • Female Penny is a gorgeous pittie (or pittie mix!) who’s making up for lost time with ALL the puppy energy and love. This sweet girl came to us underweight and unsure where her next meal would come from — but now she’s blossoming into the happiest little nugget. Personality & Play:• Full of goofy, joyful puppy energy• Plays rough-and-tumble with her buddy Ziggy — she’d love a dog who can keep up!• Ignores cats like a polite queen Home Life:• 90% house trained and improving every day• Crate trained and sleeps great• Good with dogs — just needs to eat separately and enjoy her bones in her crate• Shows a bit of food/bone guarding (totally understandable for a former stray!), but she’s already making progress Penny is the PERFECT mix of silly, snuggly, smart, and resilient. She’ll thrive with a family willing to continue her training, celebrate her wins, and give her the stability she’s never had before. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, goofy girl to love forever… Penny is your girl! Apply to adopt at Buddysrescue.org (4)   ##2597809##

Story
Meet Kiah – A Story of Survival, Strength, and Second Chances (Formerly Alyssa – renamed to honor her new beginning) This 8-year-old, 71 lb Pit mix has endured more than most, but you’d never guess it by the way she melts into belly rubs and lives for car rides. Kiah was once abused by a man, which left her afraid of men for some time—but she’s made an incredible recovery. As long as you sit down and let her come to you, she’ll soon decide you’re her forever best friend. Her journey to safety included a rescue by a kind woman who sadly went into hospice last year. That’s when Kiah’s story touched a heart—and she was saved again. Now, she’s ready for her true forever home. Kiah’s Ideal Home No other dogs – she has shown unprovoked aggression toward other pups and needs to be the only dog. Possibly cat-friendly with very slow intros (she previously lived with them). LOVES kids and is incredibly gentle with them. Needs to be kenneled when left alone at first—she may have some initial separation anxiety. A mellow home where she can decompress and be spoiled. Nicknamed Miss Piggy because of her adorable snorts and grunts, Kiah is affectionate, mellow, snuggly, and totally devoted once she bonds with you. She loves her bones, belly rubs, and especially going for car rides—those are her absolute favorite! Spayed, fully vaccinated, and healthy. Just needs a microchip! Special Senior Adoption Fee: Only $250!Because every sweet senior deserves a soft place to land. Kiah is more than ready for a new chapter filled with love, security, and couch cuddles. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold and a soul that’s survived so much—Kiah is your girl. Apply to adopt through Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue and give Kiah the happy ending she deserves. (102) ##2428704##

Story
Meet Leela – Your Big-Hearted, Wiggly Companion! Leela is a 6-year-old, 45-pound pitbull terrier who has no idea she’s not a tiny lap dog . This spayed sweetheart is a playful little bulldozer with a goofy grin and a heart overflowing with love. She’s dog-friendly, but she’ll do best with a pup who can keep up with her fun, bouncy energy. Leela is currently working on her potty training and is already crate trained, so she’s well on her way to being the perfect housemate. Leela hasn’t met cats or children yet, so a home willing to introduce her slowly—or one without either—would be ideal. What Leela wants most? To love and be loved. She’ll follow you with big, soulful eyes, lean into your hugs, and show you every day how grateful she is to have a family of her own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a silly streak and endless affection, Leela is your girl. Apply for Leela at: buddysrescue.org (41) ##2571137##
