Please contact Echo Dogs (adoptions@echodogs.org) for more information about this pet.Female • 5 months • 25 lbs • Microchipped • Spay Contract • OHBIO Follow me on Facebook:  #EchoDogHelene Hi! My name is Helene! I am a 5-month-old (DOB: 10-25-2025), currently 29 lb female. My adoption will be conditional on my adopter having me spayed at 6 months of age, which will be April 2026. I am doing well with housetraining and am almost at 100% as long as I am taken out on a consistent schedule! I am already crate trained. Since I am still a little puppy, it’s safest for me to stay in my crate when unsupervised. I might bark a little at first but then I settle down. I love all the people I’ve met so far, including men, women, and children! I’ve met a few dogs, big, small, males and females. I liked them all and wanted to play with everyone!  I love all my toys. I don’t know how to play fetch yet it sounds like fun. I have met a cat, and I was a really good girl so it's ok if you have a cat or two.  The car is ok, I don’t mind going in it, I might even like it one day. I am doing well learning how to walk on a leash. I learned “down” that was easy. I'm ready to learn more. I hear that puppy classes are pretty good, maybe you could bring me to one. I wouldn’t mind going to a home with some children, I really like playing and running around with them. Do you have any children that would love a sweet little girl like me? Story
Ostentatia Wallace is a gentle, thoughtful soul who has quietly mastered the art of being an excellent house companion. Thought to be around 7 years old, she is fully house trained, non-destructive, and respectful of her surroundings—no counter surfing, no table begging, and no mischief when left alone. She crates well (with just a short moment to settle) and is incredibly easy to live with, making her the kind of dog who quickly feels like she’s always belonged. This smart girl is eager to please and very attentive to her people. She enjoys being near her humans, soaking up affection and attention, and loves being handled and petted. While she’s not a fan of being picked up (she’s a sturdy 60 lbs, after all!), she shows her affection by staying close and being a calm, loving presence. She already knows “sit” and, with her intelligence and willingness to learn, she has so much potential to pick up more cues and confidence-building skills.Outdoors, Ostentatia enjoys exploring and taking in her surroundings at her own pace. She isn’t particularly toy-motivated or fetch-focused, preferring relaxed romps and sniffing adventures. On leash, she gets excited when she sees other dogs or people and can be vocal. At home, Ostentatia shines brightest. She naps comfortably during the day, sleeps well in her crate at night (though she’d happily trade that for a spot in bed someday), and settles beautifully into a routine. She does best with older kids and teens (13+), and while her experience with cats is unknown, her overall demeanor is calm and affectionate. Ostentatia Wallace is a truly good girl—steady, loving, and ready for a home that will continue to help her grow in confidence while appreciating the wonderful dog she already is.Interested in adopting this dog?Visit our website (http://www.SecondCityCanineRescue.org) to fill out an application and to find out where this dog may be shown this weekend. We love our dogs. We love our Honey but she needs a lot of attention and loves long walks. She doesn’t like strangers and doesn’t’play’, doesn’t like toys but likes her day care (Kountry Pet Resort). She is incredibly sweet with people she trusts but she’s not easy with new people. She is super smart, UPS and Amazon people can be a trigger.

Story
Meet Parker! 🐾 Parker is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) mix puppy with a big heart to match his growing paws. This sweet boy is full of love and is always happy to share it—whether it’s through gentle kisses, leaning in for pets, or sitting right by your side like your little shadow. Parker has a playful spirit and enjoys spending time with his toys, but he also has a wonderfully affectionate side. After some playtime, he’s perfectly content relaxing next to his favorite people and soaking up all the attention he can get. Like any puppy, Parker is still learning about the world around him, but he’s already showing what a well-mannered and wonderful companion he can be. With a little guidance, patience, and lots of love, he’s sure to grow into an amazing lifelong friend. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving pup who will happily be your playmate and cuddle buddy, Parker might just be your perfect match! 🐶💛 I know my cute face is hard to resist, but here's the scoop: I'll need a lot of your time and attention as I grow up into the amazing adult dog I'm destined to be! I'm looking for a forever family that will help me with socialization, training (yes, that includes house training!), and plenty of exercise. And let's not forget the chewing and teething-I'm still learning what's okay (and what's definitely not okay) to put in my mouth. So, be ready for some puppy-proofing! Don't forget those vet visits! I'll need to stay up to date on my boosters and vaccines, which means a few trips to see my favorite vet in the first few months. But trust me, all that effort will be worth it when you experience the endless love, puppy kisses, and pure joy I'll bring into your life. So, if you're up for the challenge and the fun, why not come meet me in person? Stop by during our adoption hours. For more details, email bloomingdale@ahconnects.org or give us a call at 847-697-2880 x: 90. The friendly folks here will be happy to answer all your questions! Can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together! All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

These pups are in Hoffman Estates, Illinois too!

Story
Samson 8 Yrs. old DOB April 1st Australian Shepard Mix 100 pds Samson came to us at 1 years old. He adapted quickly to our home and became part of our family. He’s been a very loyal and great dog. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, we need to find him another home. This is a very difficult decision but I am determined to find him a good and loving home. He is best in a home with no other pets and works well with adults and teen aged children. He is slow to trust but once he does he is your best friend. He wants attention and lots of pets. I’m hoping to find a home with a big backyard so he can run freely. He walks well on a leash but will pull when something grabs his attention. Samson is incredibly loyal and very protective of his people. He is not good around strangers or strange animals so we keep our distance. Overall Samson is a great dog once you understand and work with his quirks. This is by no means an easy decision and it is with a heavy heart i write this.

Story
Libby is sure a unique-looking young girl; how can anyone not love her huge ears!! She is thought to be an Australian Kelpie Mix (possibly with Bull Terrier). She weighs about 30 lbs. Her estimated date of birth is June 5th 2023. Libby is a typical puppy, very energetic and playful. She likes to jump and can sometimes forget herself and be a little too rough with other dogs. But….…she is young and needs to learn boundaries and manners in order to evolve into a wonder family member with a forever family she so deserves.. This sweet pup likes playing with other dogs; she’s great with dogs and would enjoy the companionship of another dog in the home. Most likely, a young or middle-aged adult dog would prefer his company much more so than a senior dog. An ideal family for Libby is one able to assimilate the enthusiasm and playfulness of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Libby to be her best self! A secure fenced yard is required; another younger or middle-aged pup in the family could also be advantageous. Libby is crate-trained and is working hard to improve her house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. For information about adding this adorable girl to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.
