Story
Nancy is a young Australian cattle dog who would just love to sit on your lap and be cuddled all day. She’s smart and full of personality with spurts of play time then lots of chill time.  Nancy is about 3 or 4 years old. She is completely house trained and is excellent in her crate. She’s good on a leash and knows several commands including “sit” and “kennel.” She is particularly motivated if treats are involved! Nancy loves other dogs but can get pretty rowdy when she plays. She would be great with a dog buddy as long as the dog is accepting, playful, and not easily offended by silly antics. One of Nancy’s favorite things is to talk to all her favorite toys. Nancy needs a home with a fenced-in yard and would prefer someone who has herding dog experience. No kids under 10 please. Nancy is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##1270950##

Story
Gabriel came to us from a rural shelter in the Carolinas. This young dog had been seriously injured after being hit by a car. The impact broke his leg and caused his eye to pop out. Although veterinarians were able to save his eye, he wasn’t able to see out of it, so it eventually had to be removed. He has recovered quickly from that procedure as well as surgery to fix his leg. Although Gabriel is only a couple years old, he totally acts like a puppy. He is extremely curious, energetic, and playful, but also loves to snuggle. He adores playing tug, thinks chew toys are fantastic, and has a blast with stuffed toys and his Jolly Ball. Gabriel is doing great with potty training and is working on leash and crate manners. He’s a quick learner and knows sit, kennel up, and hush. He is goofy and can be rowdy, but he totally wants to be a good boy. Gabriel is good with dogs that like to play as hard as he does. He needs a home with a fenced-in yard. He’d be fine as an only dog or would have fun with a well-matched dog pal. He’d love a family who might be interested in dog sports or other fun activities and who will spend time continuing to teach him how to be a great dog.  Gabriel wants to play and wants to be loved and cuddled. He certainly deserves it after his traumatic experiences. He’s being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##1864447##

He was given to us by someone that could no longer keep him. He Likes to play and can be very loving, but also independent. He likes to be outside and go for walks. Hes a cuddler and acts like a lap dog, but will lay in his kennel as well. He likes to play with our cat and has been around her ever since she was a kitten. He has also been around smaller and larger dogs and does just fine. He can do a few tricks, such as sit, lay down, shake, and hugs. He needs a good, loving home. Someone that has time to care for him properly.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Levi!Levi is an 11 month old neutered male Cattle Dog! Currently 28 lbs most likely will be closer to 40 lbs when fully grown. Levi is a very nervous boy. It takes a while for him to build up trust with a person. For the first 3 weeks I was unable to touch him but now he’s able to take cookies from my hand, allow me to pet him, and hang out on the couch with him! Now that’s he’s coming out of his shell he’s finally becoming a naughty baby puppy! I’ve been loving watching him steal shoes, throw toys in the air, and try to sneak snacks. Levi will do much better in a home with another dog. He likes to build relationships with other dogs which makes it easier for him to open up to people! He gets along with every dog he’s ever met! He’s your typical pushy baby Cattle Dog. He likes to push everyone’s buttons but is receptive to corrections from dogs and verbal redirecting from people! Once out of his shell he’s the sweetest boy. He likes to chase toys, play in the water, and wrestle with his friends! Levi had an injury to his rear left leg which has since healed but his hair is still growing back! Levi is searching for an active family who likes to go on walks, hike, and play in the yard! He does have a fence requirement as he has proven himself to be a fence jumper when scared. He will need to be supervised in the yard. He is looking for a patient family who will help him blossom. Levi was brought in with his litter from a backyard breeder in Western OH and is now being fostered in Plymouth, IN. Please contact cripecasey@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Jimmy.  You can complete an application to adopt Anderson or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. He is house broken and crate trained, he does use our doggy door. He is working on putting on some weight after his last shelter stay. Toast is being fostered in Walkerton, INPlease contact hannahvazquez2002@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Toast.  You can complete an application to adopt Toast or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2024, 8:37 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Chloe Chloe is a beautiful double masked Cattle Dog is a dream to look at. Her confirmation is short and stocky. If you’re looking for a beautiful girl. Here she is. Chloe does great in a crate and walks on a leash and sits nicely. But like most Cattle Dogs they have energy. We exercise her with lots of ball. She is a great ball retriever. Chloe comes from Southern, IN. Where she was found and picked up as a stray. Chloe gets along with other dogs but very selective, like most Cattle Dogs. They can be snobbish with who they make friends with. She tends to get along with dogs who don’t try to dominate her or tell her what to do! ( like most women)! She is not good with small animals or dogs. Her prey instinct takes over.  Chloe is a cuddle bug and by your side kind of girl. She loves her people and will love all the attention from people.   Chloe is fostered in Plymouth, IN If you have questions about Chloe, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .  For additional information on Border Collies and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.comebyebcrescue.com.    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2024, 8:37 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Quinn &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143Quinn ever so unique tail is looking for her forever home. She is the sweetest girl. Her confirmation measures up to her beautiful, white tail. She is built short and stocky. She is an easy keeper and doesn’t require a-lot of food. Her personality is like most Cattle Dogs. Loves to have exercise, especially her ball. Loves people and gets excited to see them. So, we are working on staying down and not jumping 5ft in the air. Yes, she has springs in her feet. She is great riding in the car and loves to cuddle beside her Foster Mom on outings.Walks on a leash and has some skills like sit. She is great in a crate and has not made a mess.Quinn was picked up in Southern Indiana as a stray, along with a female Cattle Dog whose confirmation highly resembles herself. So, we call them sisters.Quinn likes her sister, and they play well together, but Quinn is very dominant with other dogs, and we are recommending she be a single dog. Plus, she would eat up all the attention her human will give her. She does have an off-switch and enjoys cuddling on the couch. Most Cattle Dog owners love the loyal and Velcro personality of this breed. If you have questions about Quinn, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .

Story
Some dogs are easy. They love everybody and everything and have no quirks or issues. But doesn’t that make life kind of boring? Brayleigh is anything but boring. This girl was found as a stray roaming the streets of Texas. She had raging skin and ear infections and barely any fur. She’s also blind and deaf. But Bray is a strong and sassy survivor. With help from our vet care team, she had regular medicated baths and her beautiful coat started to grow in. Then she was a trooper and had dual luxating patella surgery. Through it all, Bray has remained true to herself. She’s very complex: She doesn’t like strangers and abhors men, but likes female humans and male dogs. Once she makes friends, she’s very sweet, affectionate, and playful … as long as you don’t try to brush out her mats or clip her nails. She’s gone through a lot in her 5-6 years and she knows what she doesn’t like! Bray loves to play, but is also content to lie down near her person. She isn’t terribly Velcro, but she does like to know where her human is. She likes to play with toys or just carry them around. We’re guessing she maybe didn’t have any her whole life, so now she will sometimes fall asleep with a toy in her mouth. It’s pretty adorable. Bray’s DNA test shows she’s a mix of Australian shepherd, Australian koolie, Australian cattle dog, and shar-pei. She’s a great size at just about 25 pounds. She’s good on a leash, great in a crate, and will potty outside if it’s dry or inside on a pad. She knows the touch command for “come” and is pretty convinced that’s all she needs to know right now. Brayleigh will need a very specific home with just a patient woman or women, preferably someone who has had experience working with “interesting” dogs. She’d probably prefer to be an only dog, but could live with a laid-back male canine sibling. Bray also needs a fenced-in yard for safety and would prefer someone home most of the time, although she is good on her own. She can be left uncrated and will use her potty pad and isn’t the least bit destructive. Brayleigh has allergies so she needs regular shampooing and brushing, daily medication, and weekly injections. Yes, she has many issues and can be difficult and stubborn. But don’t we all? It’s going to take a very special person to adopt this very special girl. But Brayleigh is so lovable, it’s worth the time it takes to get to know her. Plus she gives the biggest and best sloppiest kisses. ##915140##

Story
The tango is a dance that focuses on flair, love, and playful movement. We think our little Tango puppy was well-named. This Aussie mix is sweet, loving, and snuggly. But he’s also very playful and full of personality and can even be independent at times. He is a very busy, very nosy boy who always likes to know what’s going on. And he looks great while he’s doing it! Tango has so many favorite activities. He loves to explore, play tug of war, and sit on his person’s lap. Tango mostly loves other dogs and wants to run and wrestle with them but he needs some time to warm up to them. Tango is hearing and vision impaired, but it doesn't stop him from dancing through life. He is a smart boy and has already learned “sit” and is working on “come” and “stay.” He’s also doing great with house training and crate training. His ideal home will have a fenced-in yard and another dog buddy. And perhaps a dance floor. ##1475452##

Story
Remember the super cute boy from the playground that everyone thought was just so charismatic and even the teachers had to hide smiles when he was being just a tad naughty?  The one with the dreamy eyes that wasn’t a jock or a bookworm, but was perfectly in between?. Please meet Rogan, he is one of those boys and perhaps the James Dean of dogs. Rogan is a handsome young red merle Australian shepherd who is just over a year old. True to his breed, he is picky about sharing his affection. He doesn't love men and would prefer a home with just one special lady. He is a little slow to warm up, but when he feels comfortable, he likes to be near, but not glued to, his person. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, and learns his routine quickly. He has good recall, knows no, off, and sit … most of the time. Who likes to sit when there is so much of the world to see? He does correct easily while occasionally mischievously trying again while melting you with those baby blues.  Are you in love yet? If so, you will get to enjoy running and playing in the yard, long walks, and snuggling. When you need “me time,” he likes his crate and enjoys chewing on safe, quality chews. He is an eager learner providing opportunities to teach him agility, fetch and other activities while improving his house manners and non-toy identification skills. His only requirement is being with you. Rogan is a great communicator and will let you know when it is time to eat and potty as well as providing wake up and delivery notifications. Rogan is believed to have lived outside prior to coming to Speak! and while good with dogs and cats, he may at times need correcting from them, or you, if he gets too exuberant. His ideal home will be an active one with a fenced-in yard. His future family will need herding dog experience and be home a good portion of time to help him polish his loveable rebel edges. He will need to be crated while his family is away. If our handsome Rogan sounds like your James Dean, fill out an application. ##1308256##
