Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Levi is an 8 month old neutered male cattle dog! Currently 28 lbs most likely will be closer to 40 lbs when fully grown’ Levi is a very nervous boy. It takes a while for him to build up trust with a person. For the first 3 weeks I was unable to touch him but now he’s able to take cookies from my hand, allow me to pet him, and hang out on the couch with him! Now that’s he’s coming out of his shell he’s finally becoming a naughty baby puppy! I’ve been loving watching him steal shoes, throw toys in the air, and try to sneak snacks. Levi will do much better in a home with another dog. He likes to build relationships with other dogs which makes it easier for him to open up to people! He gets along with every dog he’s ever met! He’s your typical pushy baby cattle dog. He likes to push everyone’s buttons but is receptive to corrections from dogs and verbal redirecting from people! Once out of his shell he’s the sweetest boy. He likes to chase toys, play in the water, and wrestle with his friends! Levi had an injury to his rear left leg which has since healed but his hair is still growing back! Levi is searching for an active family who likes to go on walks, hike, and play in the yard! He does have a fence requirement as he has proven himself to be a fence jumper when scared. He will need to be supervised in the yard. He is looking for a patient family who will help him blossom. Levi was brought in with his litter from a backyard breeder in western OH and is now being fostered in Columbus OH Please contact ashquesenberry@yahoo.com  if you have any questions about Jimmy.  You can complete an application to adopt Anderson or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Introducing Baloo!Update  6/27/23 She is now around 7-8 months old and she has learned a-lot of skills. She is super food motivated.  She has a good sit- maintain and eye contact.  Foster mom uses this when she get alert on her environment.  She will get barky and rowdy and pulls against leash when she see other dogs on leashes. So sit- maintain has helped with this issue.    Baloo is super smart and her recalls are great, however you must have a treat to reward when she comes. She is so smart she knows when there is No reward.  Baloo is super playful with toys and loves to chase the ball.   I can’t forget the water hose, her true heeling instincts come out, chasing it and jumping thru the air. Which is a good way to make her tired.   Baloo is crate trained and knows her routine.  She will be a short version of cattle dog, around 25 lbs.************* Baloo is a 7 month old ball of energy and cuddles. But mostly play! She is energized and natural herding instincts. Needs a herding experience home. She is crate trained and learning skills with training. She is learning not to chase the vacuum or broom. It’s a work in process. She has NOT herd people legs, as of now. Super smart and picks up a routine extremely fast.Quickly runs up the stairs when it is feeding time and bolts to her crate and sits patiently and proper, waiting for her crate door to open. She will be taking puppy classes at the local obedience dog school. Truth About Dogs School. Where she will learn more skills. Baloo ideal home would be with someone who wants to see her succeed and socialize her in the big world, and not shelter her at home. Baloo was surrendered to a Southern Indiana shelter when she was just a puppy.  Baloo needs to go to a home with older kids, no toddlers, mainly because her high drive to chase. Plus, Cattle Dogs are sensitive to noise. Looking for an active family or couple. Baloo won’t be your low drive dog. A home with a fence is required for Baloo.  Baloo is being fostered in Plymouth. If you have questions about Baloo, please email   cripecasey@gmail.com  .  For additional information on Border Collies and our adoption process, please visit our website at www.comebyebcrescue.com.  If you have questions about Baloo.   ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2023, 4:16 pm

Millie is a very sweet girl. She loves to snuggle and play, but is also independent at times. She loves to run around the yard and enjoys playing with other dogs. She is also very good with kids both small and older; we have a 2 year old and 7 year old. We are re-homing due to no fault of hers and we are happy to discuss the situation further. She needs a loving home with a big fenced in back yard as she loves to run. Please reach out with any questions.

Story
Nancy is a young Australian cattle dog who would just love to sit on your lap and be cuddled all day. She’s smart and full of personality with spurts of play time then lots of chill time.  Nancy is about 3 or 4 years old. She is completely house trained and is excellent in her crate. She’s good on a leash and knows several commands including “sit” and “kennel.” She is particularly motivated if treats are involved! Nancy loves other dogs but can get pretty rowdy when she plays. She would be great with a dog buddy as long as the dog is accepting, playful, and not easily offended by silly antics. One of Nancy’s favorite things is to talk to all her favorite toys. Nancy needs a home with a fenced-in yard and would prefer someone who has herding dog experience. No kids under 10 please. Nancy is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##1270950##
