Story
How did this precious young lady end up as a stray? It appears that someone had previously worked with her and perhaps even trained her to be an indoor pet. She shows a strong desire to make her humans happy and is eager to please. She loves all humans, even the really small ones. She does well with cats, cows and other dogs as well. She loves to go for rides in anything. Leash walks are a breeze for Angel, showcasing her excellent behavior. Whoever welcomes Angel into their home will undoubtedly find themselves incredibly fortunate. She has all the qualities of an exceptional companion. Angel is a happy, healthy girl who is ready for her forever home. If you are interested in adopting me or any of my Funny Farm friends please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works, read about all the vetting I will have before coming home, and you will also find the link to submit the adoption application. Meet Izzy! She is a beautiful girl with soft, medium length, fuzzy, fur. Izzy is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Most of all she just wants to be with her family. She is house trained and crate trained. Izzy loves car rides, neighborhood walks, and relaxing with her people on the couch. Izzy does well with other dogs, when introduced properly. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. If you would like to meet this sweet girl and make her part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ . Story
This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. This little girl is ready for her happily ever after. Please visit funnyfarmpets.org to read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption process works. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. CHIP was saved from a kill shelter in Georgia and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 5 April 2024. CHIP is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. He has an estimated date of birth of 26 March 2023 and in April 2024 weighed 28 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. CHIP is adorable, smart, high energy, loving, affectionate, fun, goofy and did I mention high energy? He shares a kennel with two dogs that came from Oman and has been great in helping them adapt and has been teaching them how to play, wrestle and enjoy toys - something they had not experienced before. Chip is true to his breed in that he can be a little mouthy and he does like to let you know how he is feeling when you are not paying him the attention he deserves and thinks he needs lol. Chip needs an active family and one that understands the breed and that they are a herding breed, they can get nippy if they are not taught to not do that. He is super smart, a lot of fun and will learn quick and will be the best companion to the right family. We take a lot of pictures and videos and don't always have the time to post them on the dogs individual webpage and adoption site, so we ask that you go to the rescue    YouTube channel    and    photo albums on our Facebook page    to see a LOT of pictures and videos. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. CHIP is located at the rescue in Sebec Maine and is available for a  reduced adoption  fee of $550. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application. https://giveadogahome-rescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5838 HOUSE TRAINED - All of our dogs are located in the kennel building so we are not able to say if a dog is house-trained, however, they do have access and use the dog door to access their run, play area 24/7. FOOD - We feed a variety of high quality brands and flavors including, chicken, turkey, beef, lamb and fish generally alternated daily. CATS - We do not have cats in the kennels and are not able to say how our dogs are with cats. Story
Sandy is so smart and loves to play! She is a gorgeous Australian cattle dog who is about 3 years old. She is medium sized weighing about 35-40lbs. Sandy is a happy, enthusiastic and playful girl and loves getting attention. She may be shy at first but when she opens up, she becomes a Velcro dog. Sandy is house trained and crate trained. She sits for her treats, before being fed and when putting her leash on. She knows "sit", "wait", "stay", "food", "treat", "outside" and "go home". She's such a smart girl! Long walks and being outdoors are her favorite activities! She is the biggest love bug and loves to cuddle and give kisses ? Sandy may not have had the greatest past, but this lovely girl is looking forward to a bright future. Please text Beth +1 (201) 320-6002 or Heather 908-239-2182 PLEASE SHARE

Story
My name is Harvey! I am about 2 years old and 45 to 50 lbs. I am a nice medium sized dog and I am full grown. I am a great mix of energy and lounge-loving dog. I could have some. ASCZ thinks I am a mix of Heeler and Kelpie. I could have a touch of Terrier or Shepherd in me! I love to run around and play with my dog friends but I also like to hang out and sun myself. I have been good with all the dogs I have met but I live currently with three big female dogs. I have met young children at events and while I am out and about. I am 100% okay with them and appropriate. I am active and I could knock over a small child, but, it wouldn't be on purpose... I am just a dog. I think I would love to hang out with kids and run around. I have been fine with cats too. I may chase with interest but I am not aggressive. I do need a little leash work and would be happier wearing a harness than having the collar pull around my neck while on walks. I also play fetch! And, I love to play with plastic water bottles. I am housebroken and crate trained too! My temperament is solid, I am easy to have around according to my foster. I would make a great buddy if you like to hike or take nice walks. As you can see, I am an absolute stunner. Here is a link to the application: https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/
