Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. Meet Macaroni! Macaroni is a 6 year old, Australian Cattle Dog - Healer Mix. She is approximately 40 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and has no known health issues. She was surrendered to Tuxedo Hearts after having some issues with the dog in her previous home. She was rescued by her prior owner, and lived with that family for 8 months. The dogs were okay at first, but then they started having issues. We sent Macaroni to the very best for a behavioural consultation and training - Tammy at Happy Trails Training. She has been in an intensive 8 week program. She truly is a wonderful dog and has done beautifully with her training. She’s very sweet and affectionate. Loves to cuddle! She is great with children. Prior to coming to Tuxedo Hearts she did live with a family that had children. She walks great on leash and behaves appropriately. After Tammy’s assessment and training, it has been decided that Macroni should be an only dog. Macaroni does get along with other dogs in a social setting, however her energy can be a little much for another dog, especially when it comes to food. She has been doing well in training playgroup but can be pushy with some of the other dogs. She would make a wonderful companion!

Joey is a 3 year old Australian Cattle Dog looking for a home that truly understands her breed. Joey is very smart, active, and loyal, and she thrives with structure, training, and a “job” to do. Her current family loves her but did not realize how much time, guidance, and activity a working breed needs, so they’re doing the right thing by helping her find a more suitable home. Joey will do best with an experienced herding/working-breed home or someone committed to training and providing daily physical and mental exercise. Joey is ready to be someone’s devoted partner. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl.
