Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here’s the 411. I was cruising around the streets in Central Utah when the local Sheriff’s office decided that wasn’t a good thing. There was the old good cop/bad cop routine because I came into their holding pen packin’. I played along and answered their questions. Name: Olive M age: 1 1/2 yrs breed: Heeler/Hound mix (best guess) weight: 42 lbs. I wouldn’t give in to the question of how much I was packing, (I didn’t know!). The Sheriff knew I couldn’t stay and an arrangement was made for me to go to a rescue and that’s how I came to be with Rescue Rovers and my fosters. I’m so glad they took me in! I’m no longer packing pups; I delivered 6 beautiful pups and now I’m looking for my forever home. I’m house trained and walk well on a leash with the right collar. I’m timid with people I haven’t met but once I know & trust you I will be by your side and a good companion. I LOVE to play fetch! Being a submissive dog, a firm but gentle hand will do for me with encouragement to get me to follow your direction. My energy level is med-high. I need a home with children 8 and older because I’m unsure of younger kids; their movements are scary for me. I’m a hound mix and small animals are prey to me so no cats please!! If you think I’m the girl for you, apply to meet me https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 3, 2024, 4:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I’m Flow. I’m working on finding my forever home. I’m a sweet girl, beautiful too. I get a lot of compliments on how pretty I am and how different my brindle coloring is. I am a cattle dog mix, 2.5 years old and about 35 pounds. I’m a sweet, spunky spirit that is looking for a home that can help me find my flow with them. I’m good with other dogs off leash, with a slow introduction. I do not know if I’m good with cats as my foster is allergic. I’m energetic and sweet. If I have structure I follow along. I would love a home with a yard that I can play in. I love to chase toys and bring them back (most of the time). I enjoy cuddling on the sofa when I’m worn out. If it’s nap time, I’m a good napper. I’m good in the crate at night and when you have to go out and about. Sometimes I even have my own nap time in my crate for a small break. I had a foster with a doggie door and I thought that was the best thing ever! I didn’t have any accidents and knew to go outside. My current foster lives in a condo and I’m learning to walk on a leash. I am learning to be social and see the world. I’m a bit scared of new things as I haven’t had much experience in the big world. I’m VERY smart and pick up new things quickly. I’ve been working with a trainer on walking on a leash. I’m reactive but very treat motivated so just give me a little more time and I will be the best hiking buddy ever! I’m also working on my manners. I respect the word “no.” I’ve learned to sit. I’ve learned “down.” No one has ever told me that I shouldn’t get up on counters before now, I get it now. I would do best in an active family, with a yard. Since I am learning to socialize and have a bit of fear of the world (which I am conquering every day). I would do best without young children since I scare easily. I will be a great forever pet. I’ve been told that I’m good with other dogs off leash, but my current foster doesn’t have places to take me off leash. I would do well with a confident doggie sibling that could help me find the structure in your life. I love people and just need a slow introduction. Are you interested in bringing me into your life? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I’m spot on your best girl. See what I did there? I’m Manchas, a 1.5-year-old cattle dog mix weighing 26 lbs. I may be a little tripod, but I’m big on cuddles and playing tug. I’m a pro at dropping and laying down for love. I adore all people, kids, and dogs my size or smaller. I spent some time on the streets, so I’m a bit guarded with new dogs at first, but I warm up once I get to know them. I’m crate and potty trained, and though I sometimes mess up, can you really stay mad at me? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey it’s me! Kat Von D! I am an adorable 9-month-old Blue Heeler mix. I am a petite little lady, weighing in at 26 pounds and I probably won’t get a lot bigger. I am a bit underweight still and am working on that which is pretty cool because I love to eat! I have cute whiskers and the softest coat! I am all personality, and I have the sweetest demeanor. I am shy at first, I sat in my foster mom’s lap for a long time when she first brought me home from the shelter. Now that I am familiar with my foster home, I am a little firecracker! I make everyone laugh with my silly antics. As you can see by my pictures I am one of those dogs that cocks her head sideways when I hear any kind of curious sound.    When I first met my foster dog siblings, I was intimidated and then soon became indifferent towards them. After a few days, my confidence and personality started shining through and now I want to play! I could wrestle my foster sister for hours. I am an energetic girl who could hike, bike, run, and take on the world with you all day! I will settle down though and sleep in my crate, especially at night. Sometimes if a lot is going on in other parts of the house, I let out a quiet whine, because I want in on the action! But when everyone in the house goes to bed for the night, I too am out like a light.    If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s how smart I am! My foster mom has easily taught me to use a doggy door, sit, to run into my crate with a verbal command, and I am getting so good at being patient and waiting when she opens my crate door. I don’t run out until I get an “okay!” As is common with some herding breeds, I can be a little “mouthy”.  This is most certainly not meant with aggressive intent. When my foster mom gets home from work, I am so excited to see her that I like to gently put my mouth all over her hands, this is how I show my love and affection when I am really excited! So far, I haven’t tried to herd any of my foster humans around like livestock. I would love any kid but, would do best in a home with respectful kids over the age of 8. I could potentially mistake those smaller kids as sheep with the way they like to run.   For me to be successful in my future home I need a good routine and to be a part of a family that has solid rules and expectations of me. I go on a nightly walk with my foster family and am so light and polite on the leash! My potty training is perfect when I am on a potty schedule. I am a great girl in the car! I’m a curious and I like to stare out the window and after a while I just curl up and go to sleep, not making a peep. I am highly food motivated! I can be more standoffish with men in the beginning but give me a day or two and I will be your best pal! Soon I will be sitting on your feet while you do the dishes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. G’DAY, MATES! It’s me, BINDEE!  I’m a 6-month-old Heeler mix with some pretty cool white and black markings. I weigh 16 pounds now, but my foster humans say I’ll probably grow up to be around 30-35 pounds. I’m full of cheeky energy, always ready for fun, and I love running around with my dog friends. But after a good play session, there’s nothing I like more than a cozy snuggle. I’m learning the ropes—potty training, doggy doors, you name it—and I sleep like a dream in my crate. I’m on the lookout for a family with a fenced yard where I can explore and play. With a little patience and training, I promise I’ll be the best doggo you’ve ever met! Can’t wait to meet you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi!  My Name is Mary Tyler Moore – Mary for short I am a 8-month-old Heeler mix breed I weigh about 20 pounds, when I am full grown, I will weigh about 40 - 45 pounds. I love everyone, big dogs, little dogs and all humans. I am a confident little girl!   Not sure about cats, I am sure we could find a way to co-exist.  My leash skills are getting better and better every day.  I was pretty scared of it at first, but now, I am loving the results of a leash, WALKS!   The first few months of my life were spent in a small studio apartment (my foster mom calls it a shelter). I am not shy, I do not have a mean bone in my body.  I am a lover, not a fighter.  I am working on my potty training, I am about 75% there.  I will go into my new condo (kennel) just like a pro. I am extremely food motivated!   I sleep in my new condo just great during the day while my people are at work. I am working on not jumping.  Mom says I have ‘Tigger’ in me, I’m bouncey, trouncey, ouncey, pouncey fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, the most wonderful thing about Mary, is, I'm the only one! I just get so excited to see you I can’t help myself.  After my morning and evening zoomies I will snuggle up with you on the couch with my head on your neck.  Personal space?  What is that?  Lap, chest, legs, around your neck, that’s me!  I will find a way to get close to you, no matter what.   My mom says that I am a lover of life.  I am always the happiest girl you will ever meet. My tail wags so fast that it is hard to focus on it, I have a wiggly bum! My favorite things to do are chase around the broom, steal your paper towels, towels, wash clothes, anything you clean with.  If you drop a sock, that thing is MINE. I do like to chew on a nice dog bone, chase the other dogs in a sweet game of tag, explore, and get into some random mischief! I would love to meet you and show you my Tigger skills.  We can cuddle on the couch and watch some Winnie the Pooh together.
