Breanna IS AVAILALBE (updated 04-04-2025).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Breanna, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22826&name=BreannaBreanna is one of five puppies that recently came to Orange County to join the Coastal GSR family. She appears to be a mix of Australian Shepherd and possibly German Shepherd. She is one of two girls. She is a little more easy going than her sister Britta though the two of them love to play with each other. Breanna loves the other dogs in her foster home but really loves the people. She likes to be snuggled and cuddled.Breanna and her siblings were found in an Orange Grove by a Good Samaritan who brought them to his house. Originally there were 8 puppies and the original foster found homes for three. The puppies did not appear to have been in the Orange Grove for very long. They were in good shape and were very social and playful. Breanna would do well in a home where people are around and will pay attention to her. She can use a dog door already and is 99% housebroken and she sleeps in a crate. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.April 4, 2025, 4:17 pm

Story
Kristi is a Australian Shepherd Mix. Her estimated date of birth is 8/20/2015 and she weighs 40 lbs. She is up to date on all of her shots and she is fixed. Kristi is OK with people that she knows but is not good with new people. She is better suited for a home that has no cats, no kids or other dogs or small animals.  Kristi does like to vocalize and would be best in a house as she needs a lot of space to run around. Kristi is not good alone and does need someone she can trust to be her side most of the time. Kristi requires a very special diet and does not tolerate prepackaged dog food well. She has some minor skin issues that do require weekly medication.  She has a very high energy level and would require exercise on a daily basis for at least 1 hour otherwise she has the tendency to be destructive to items.  Kristi does have some issues on a a leash and has a small problem with marking in homes. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. Story
There is nothing sub-zero about the Ice Age puppies! They are sure to warm even the most frozen of hearts with their sweet personalities. Their mama was a mix of many breeds but we can see Jack Russell Terrier and Australian Shepherd in her. We don't know who these little ones' dad was or how big they will end up getting but mama is about 40 lbs and we believe these puppies are on track to be medium sized dogs when they are done growing. They all have short golden and white fur and many have blue eyes. Soto is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting an Ice Age pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt. Please email us at I doginfo@labsandmore.org if you need assistance. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Meet Sloth, a fun-loving Jack Russell Terrier and Australian Shepherd mix with a big personality! Expected to be medium-sized when fully grown, this playful pup is always ready for a good time. With his enthusiasm for treats and learning, he's sure to master even more tricks in no time! If you're looking for a friendly, energetic companion, Sloth is your perfect match! Story
Texas will lasso your heart from the moment you meet this sweet, sweet girl. She is around 1.5 years old and we believe she is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Cattle Dog and Border Collie. She delivered 9 adorable puppies under our care and is ready to put motherhood behind her. She is friendly and affectionate and loves meeting people. She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home but doesn't necessarily need dog siblings in her future home to be happy. Despite her breed mix she is a mellow and mild mannered girl and doesn't need a lot of exercise and is satisfied with a few short walks per day. She is well behaved in the home and can be left home alone uncrated. She walks calmly on leash, is not a big barker, and is house trained. Texas is being treated for a reversible medical condition and will be ready for adoption in early April. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Texas, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! Story
Caribou made her way to Labs and More just in time to have her nine puppies! This striking girl is around 2 years old and we believe she is a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog, Border Collie and Australian Shepherd. She is only about 60 lbs so not as large as a Bernese Mountain Dog. She is a sweet, social girl with a confident personality. Caribou walks well on leash and loves to go for walks. She does not get along with cats. She knows some of her commands and can't wait to meet a forever family to call her own.
