Story
Kristi is a Australian Shepherd Mix. Her estimated date of birth is 8/20/2015 and she weighs 40 lbs. She is up to date on all of her shots and she is fixed. Kristi is OK with people that she knows but is not good with new people. She is better suited for a home that has no cats, no kids or other dogs or small animals.  Kristi does like to vocalize and would be best in a house as she needs a lot of space to run around. Kristi is not good alone and does need someone she can trust to be her side most of the time. Kristi requires a very special diet and does not tolerate prepackaged dog food well. She has some minor skin issues that do require weekly medication.  She has a very high energy level and would require exercise on a daily basis for at least 1 hour otherwise she has the tendency to be destructive to items.  Kristi does have some issues on a a leash and has a small problem with marking in homes. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. We do require an application if you are interested in adoption.  If you are interested in potentially adopting please fill out an application at http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt. Your application will be reviewed and you will be placed on a waiting list for the dog(s). If your name comes up on the waiting list(s) we will contact you. You can see the dogs we have available for adoption on our website at http://bajadogrescue.org/shelter-dogs/ Please check out our FAQ's page at http://bajadogrescue.org/faqs/. Questions? Story
Jerky is quite the lovebug! He is around 1 year old and we believe he is likely an Australian Shepherd and Hound mix. Jerky is housetrained and can be left home alone crated for up to 4 hours just fine. His favorite place for a nap is on the couch with his humans. He plays with toys and enjoys rawhide chews. He is playful with most other dogs and rides well in the car. He is still working on leash training and is learning his manners and commands. He knows Sit, Lay Down, Shake and Wait. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Jerky, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Ears is one of the sweetest pups! She is SO happy to be out of the pound and she is ready to find her FURever person/people. She is about 30 lbs and so gentle. She couldn't wait to run and play outside! The smell of freedom! She is even more adorable in person than her pictures. Maybe it is her aura. She is just delightful! She is currently being fostered in Pt. Loma and would love to be matched with her. FURever!

Story
Please come to our adoption event to meet them this weekend - please text us for location and times at 619-576-0747. Saturday 03/04;23: PetSmart: Address: 1660 Garnet Ave, San Diego, CA 92109 Hours: 4 to 6:pm - we may be able to see you earlier - please text us at 619-576-0747. Cielo (sky in spanish) Chula (gorgeous in mexican) is for sure a love bug- she loves other dogs, small, large, young and senior as well as cats - she has been around cats at her foster homes but never in the same couch or area - only across from her sight. She looks stunning beautiful once you see her:) She loves water and she is very outgoing - loves to explore. She is an ideal medium size, has a nice chocolate coat, with white socks and a white glove on her front leg - just so gorgeous:) She has the most beautiful baby blue eyes who looks at you with all her puppy love. She loves to kiss you and loves to go around the other other dogs cleaning their face and giving them kisses - just a doll:) She will be ideal for any family. However, we do prefer her to go to a home where there is another dog - if you do not have 2nd dog, we do have other dogs he gets along with such as famous to be star for Discovery Channel "Grace" She loves to go for walks, she is leash trained; and she is potty trained, which is hard to find on rescued dogs. Also, she is crate trained. Are you ready to give her a forever home? Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofus@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date 3 core puppy vaccinations; spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us. LIVE!! LOVE!!! RESCUE!!
