Bandit spent 12 years as a much-loved companion. After his owner passed away, he was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program. He is a very sweet, gentle boy who does well around other dogs and cats. Weighing 55 lbs., Bandit loves to be brushed and knows SIT and SHAKE. He is a gem! After becoming a Frosted Face, Bandit spent the week of Christmas with volunteers. Here's what we learned about him in a home setting: Bandit is wonderful with people of all ages, including young children, enjoying pets and calmly settling near his people during holiday gatherings. He happily followed the resident dog around and coexisted peacefully with cats without much interest. Bandit enjoys strolls around the neighborhood and visits to off-leash dog parks, where he politely exchanges sniffs and seeks out humans. He has excellent leash manners, doesn’t mind being picked up, and is calm in the car. He is house-trained. Bandit sometimes whined briefly when settling in after walks or before bedtime (understandably, so soon after losing his owner), but pets, snuggles, and brushing help him relax into nap mode. Bandit is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, while he waits for a loving home where to spend his golden years. Might that be with you?
