I was purchased as a puppy, grew up in a loving home, attended 3 years of training, they had a baby then I was out the door. Thank heavens for K9 Connection they will help me find the perfect family. We are looking for a Aussie experienced person or couple middle aged or retired, Hopefully with a nice size yard too. Maybe works from home that is looking for the ultimate companion. He is crate trained and house broken, Best as an only dog. Loves running and hiking. He currently weighs 70 lbs but could lose a few more. He is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Meet Sonny! He is such a handsome boy. Sonny is a two-year, eight-month-old Aussie Shepherd. He is a handsome boy who loves some belly rubs and gives you a paw when he hasn’t been done getting a pet (see picture)! Unfortunately, he’s not great around children or smaller dogs. He has exhibited dominance and aggression, making him a less-than-perfect candidate for our household with an eight-year-old daughter and other kids around. His resource-guarding behavior is the reason he is listed as having special needs. He needs a home where he can be the only dog in an adult household. Sonny needs to be adopted by an experienced dog owner who would be able to identify any signs of potential aggression and take him to training to get rid of that aggression. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600.
