Story
Astro is a happy, handsome boy with a gorgeous black-and-white coat, a smile that lights up the room, and the kind of loyalty you dream about. At around 1–2 years old, he’s in that perfect sweet spot: playful, curious, and full of love to give! He’s the kind of dog who will follow you around like your shadow, ready to join in on adventures, car rides, or cozy naps on the couch. Astro is super smart and loves learning new things — especially when treats are involved! Whether it’s fetch in the yard or a puzzle toy in the living room, this boy loves fun and engagement. Astro would do best in a home where he can get lots of attention, playtime, and a bit of structure to help him keep shining. He’s already got a great start and just needs someone who’s ready to keep building that bond with him. Story
Bandit spent 12 years as a much-loved companion. After his owner passed away, he was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program. He is a very sweet, gentle boy who does well around other dogs and cats. Weighing 55 lbs., Bandit loves to be brushed and knows SIT and SHAKE. He is a gem! After becoming a Frosted Face, Bandit spent the week of Christmas with volunteers. Here's what we learned about him in a home setting: Bandit is wonderful with people of all ages, including young children, enjoying pets and calmly settling near his people during holiday gatherings. He happily followed the resident dog around and coexisted peacefully with cats without much interest. Bandit enjoys strolls around the neighborhood and visits to off-leash dog parks, where he politely exchanges sniffs and seeks out humans. He has excellent leash manners, doesn’t mind being picked up, and is calm in the car. He is house-trained. Bandit sometimes whined briefly when settling in after walks or before bedtime (understandably, so soon after losing his owner), but pets, snuggles, and brushing help him relax into nap mode. Bandit is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, while he waits for a loving home where to spend his golden years. Might that be with you? Story
Luna is a smart, affectionate, and energetic dog who is also naturally protective. She’ll always let you know if someone is at the door, and she takes her job of looking out for her family seriously. She has nipped and has been known to growl at dogs or people when she feels the need to protect her loved ones, but with consistent training and structure, her guarding instincts can absolutely be managed. Luna is VERY smart and loves to show off her athletic side — especially when catching a frisbee in mid-air! Like most Australian Shepherds, she needs plenty of mental stimulation and physical activity to keep her happy and balanced. Daily exercise, playtime, and continued training will help her thrive. With the right home that understands her breed, provides guidance, and gives her an outlet for her energy, Luna will make a loyal, fun, and devoted companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kane's Comeback: From Tragedy to Triumph Sweet Kane has already lived through more in his young life than most dogs ever will. Struck by a car in a devastating head-on collision, Kane was left with a shattered jaw and a broken nostril. The impact nearly took his life — but this brave boy refused to give up. And neither did we. Thanks to the incredible team at TLC K9 Rescue, Kane was rushed into emergency care. Two CT scans revealed the extent of the trauma, and it was worse than anyone imagined: 21 embedded baby teeth and sharp bone fragments were trapped around his nasal passage, posing a serious risk of infection and further complications. Over the course of two intense surgeries, skilled veterinarians carefully removed every tooth and fragment, working tirelessly to give Kane the second chance he so clearly deserved. It was touch and go at times, but Kane’s resilience never wavered. Through every moment of pain, he wagged his tail, soaked up love, and showed us just how strong his spirit really is. Now, after weeks of healing, tender care, and a whole lot of love, Kane is not just surviving — he’s thriving. His jaw is healing beautifully. His breathing is clear. And most importantly, his heart is wide open, ready to finally experience the joy of a real forever home. Kane is a living reminder of what love, hope, and dedication can do. TLC K9 Rescue spared no expense and left no stone unturned to bring him back from the brink — and today, we are thrilled to announce: Kane is ready for adoption. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his comeback story, Kane might just be the one. Let’s give this special pup the happy ending he’s fought so hard to reach. Story
Say hello to Sage, a sweet and spirited Australian Kelpie pup with the softest black coat and an adorable white spot on her belly – like a little heart she wears just for you. 💕 Sage is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. Whether she’s chasing after her favorite toy, hopping through the grass with puppy joy, or curling up for a cuddle, Sage puts her whole heart into it. She's a smart little girl who's already learning quickly and is eager to please – classic Kelpie style! Sage has faced a tough start in life. She had exposure to distemper, and the shelter initially planned to euthanize her, not even giving her a chance. But Sage is a fighter! She’s now in her second week of isolation and is going strong, showing just how resilient and full of life she truly is. With the right care and love, Sage is sure to blossom into the incredible companion she was always meant to be. She adores people and is looking for a family who’ll love her as much as she’ll love them. If you're looking for a loyal companion with bright eyes, a big heart, and a whole lot of love to give, Sage is your girl.

She was rescued off the streets a little over 2 years ago and we took her in from a friend. She is very loving and sweet. She seems to have anxiety issues probably from being abandoned. Not sure of exact age but she is around 4/5.
