Story
Shadow is a high drive working breed border collie who needs someone with breed experience (preferred). Fulfillment requirements: She will need more than just an hour long walk a day to meet her physical requirements. She currently bikes, hikes, and loves to swim. She is also well versed in carrying a weighted pack on her hikes, which helps her tune into her body and slow her mind. She's an athletic girl and needs someone to match that lifestyle. Sociability (Dog preferences): Shadow is dog selective. She would be perfectly fine in a home with no other dogs but would also do ok if she found a home with the right dog for her. No little dogs or other small animals though. She doesn't enjoy every dog but enjoys most in the proper introductions are taken. She doesn't enjoy chaos with other dogs but loves to partake in structured pack activities. She is NOT a dog park or high-energy daycare type dog. Training: She's crate trained and sleeps, eats and rests in one daily. She's highly intelligent and learns quickly. She is well versed in basic obedience cues: sit, down, stand, stay, recall, place, middle, and loose leash walking. She does not enjoy being approached, touched or spoken to by strangers but has increased her thresholds for tolerance by quite a lot. She can navigate public spaces with the proper guidance but is probably never going to be a "coffee shop" dog. Shadow's Adoption fee is $250 and includes spay, microchip and current vaccinations. Story
🐾 **Meet Patches!** Patches, a darling 5 month old, 33 lb male border collie/australian shepherd mix is ready for his new family! Patches is doing great on his house training, is crate trained and is good with children, adults and other dogs. He loves water and swimming in his foster families pond and would make a fun beach dog or hiking dog. Patches is a typical silly pup that likes playing with toys, and really wants a job as he seems to be true to his breed mix and shows Border Collie behavior -smart, loyal, and likes to herd! Patches had a rough beginning and was found as a small, emaciated puppy that had been attacked by another animal and suffered a broken leg and bite wounds, but is now completely healed and cleared by his vet and he's grown into a handsome, smarty, silly 5 month old! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind best friend with loads of personality, plenty of love to give, and a face you'll never get tired of looking at... Patches is waiting to meet you. ❤️ Patche's adoption fee is $450 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccinations. Story
Kiki has been with us for a year. She’s kind, loving and full of energy for walks/hikes. She has struggled with allergies and I am not able to afford the necessary treatment for her unfortunately. Currently she’s been treated with a topical and has flea prevention I can offer as well (5 month supply from Vet). Looking for a good home with patient family looking to give their love to her- she deserves the best.
