**Courtesy Post ** Chevy is a 40lb Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix. She loves playing fetch and catching the frisbee. She loves everyone she meets. She would do very well in a no kid household. She could also do well in a household with another dog, but doesn’t know sharing is caring so she just needs to learn how to share her toys. She is kennel trained (prefers to sleep in her kennel at night), housebroken, knows to sit, lay, paw/shake, leave it, and has been working on release. She does well going out into public settings and LOVES going to Home Depot. She's a plant girl. She loves swimming and playing in the water. She is high energy and needs a fenced in yard that she can run in. She is a pure bred Australian Shepherd so as she grows will need plenty of exercise and stimulation as she is a herding dog. She loves to run outside and play with all her toys especially ones that squeak or make a crinkle noise! She wrestles with her brother, does well with kids and other dogs. She will need a home who will be able to give her patience and the extra love she needs to grow into a family! She will give you lots of kisses, but hang on to your scrunchies because she loves to tug on them if your hair is up! Sh e is still very young though, so her personality is just starting to form. She is looking for a home who is ready to take on puppy life: potty training; teething and chewing will all be part of who she is for a little while. She is doing great with her potty pads and understands not to make a mess where she sleeps and plays! She picks up on routines quick and is very smart! Since she’s so young, she’ll need someone who is home most of the day to take her potty. But she promises to balance those things by giving you lots of sweet kisses and puppy love. He became my companion while my boyfriend (now husband) was away at school and has been by my side through college, marriage, our first home, and having children. He is loyal, loving, playful, and very affectionate. Oliver loves playing frisbee in the yard, playing with his toys, and taking long naps. He is house and kennel trained and is up to date on his vaccines and preventatives. As Oliver has gotten older, he has become more anxious around young children, so I am looking for a loving, calm home without children where he can relax and enjoy his life. I believe he will thrive in the right environment with someone who can give him the attention, patience, and love he deserves.

We’re not sure about Veronica’s backstory, but we know that she’s likely been through a lot. It seems as if someone wasn’t always very nice to her because she shuts down in some situations. But she does want to be right with her person, following closely on their heels. We think Veronica is about 6 years old. She is a gorgeous Australian shepherd with a gentle personality. While she is recovering from heartworm treatment, she still has energy and wants to play. Veronica is deaf and has limited vision. She’s very smart and has learned several touch commands including “good girl” and “come.” She is learning to walk nicely on a leash and is housebroken. She sleeps nicely in her pen overnight. Veronica would do best in a home with a friendly dog to help give her confidence. She does not like being left alone for very long, so she’d love someone who is home most of the day. She’d love an active person because she loves to explore and go on adventures. She’d prefer a physical, fenced yard to keep her safe. This sweet, beautiful Aussie is being fostered in the St. Louis area. ##2378212##
