Walter is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd Cocker Spaniel mix, he is about 60 lbs and up to date on all his shots. He is a very affectionate and loving dog, good with other animals and kids of all ages. We regrettably are having to rehome him due to starting a new job that keeps me out of the house for longer hours.

He's up-to-date on his flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and he's had all his vaccinations. Likes: Cashew is a lover of all things cuddly and cozy! He adores people, treats, car rides, and snuggling up on the bed or couch with his favorite humans. Not a Fan Of (But Will Tolerate): Baths. Really Dislikes: Loud vacuums and nail clippers! But hey, who does love those? Great at: Cashew is a little superstar! He walks like a pro on a leash, knows tons of tricks, and is a master at crate time! Not-So-Great: Cashew struggles with a bit of leash reactivity towards other dogs, but does not care if he’s in the same play area as them! Looking for a Forever Home: Cashew would thrive in a loving household where he can be the center of attention and get plenty of exercise! He's a ball of energy who loves his walks and playtime, so a home with a yard would be paw-some!

Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard, but plays a little too rough for smaller dogs. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Magellan is super smart and did great during his brief time in a temporary home. He learned sit and down quickly, and he does well in his crate. He loves to cuddle. Magellan loves to play! He would be a great addition to any home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Debuting Today: Get your application in quickly for this amazing girl. Libby, Libster, Libby Lou Libby is the best girl. If she has a fault, it's she just loves to run and play ball, all day. Saved from being euthanized at a rural pound, for having demodectic mange, Libby is 100% healthy and seeking her Furever home. We have no idea what breed she is, other than striking.. Libby is about 2 yrs old 65lbs, spayed, chipped and all vaccines are current, she is housebroken. Libby would love to have a playmate, she is dog, cat and kid friendly. An active family to hike and walk would be a dream come true for her. She does require a secure fenced yard, as she is an explorer. Libby can clear a 4' fence and can climb a 6' chain link. She would make a wonderful agility dog, with time and training. If you're in the market for a loving, loyal and unique companion Libby is your girl. Story
Shadow is a very good boy. He was subdued when he first got here which is normal, but he has blossomed. The vet estimates his age between 4 and 5 and his breed to be a lab/heeler mix. Shadow gets along with my other dogs, and I have cats as well. He didn’t pay any attention to the cats at first but now that he’s settled in and feeling comfortable, he seems to be more interested in them. He gets very excited when we get up in the morning and has tried to mix it up with one of our cats that sleeps in our room at night. He chases the others when they run past like the rest of my dogs. I don’t know that he would hurt any of my cats but may want to consider a home without cats to be safe. He does let you know when he wants to go outside by making a cute whine/squeak sound and when he’s ready to come in by scratching on the door. We have had a couple of accidents but nothing major. He is loved here and will be missed when he finds his furever home. He’s going to make someone a wonderful addition to their family. Thank you.
