Meet Remington! This adorable 7 month old is looking for a special home! His DNA test says he is Australian Shepherd,Border Collie, German Shepherd and American Pit Bull Terrier. He is smart, loving, playful and inquisitive. He also has the most amazing smile!! He will require a home with a privacy fence, his athletic ability has shown that he can jump a chain link fence in excess of 5 feet! We believe he may be a good candidate for agility, some type of dog sport or work!! His adoptive home will also require no cats, and children over 12 who have experience with dogs. He is a big strong boy and needs an adopter who can continue the training he has been working on! He aims to please! He currently goes to doggie daycare and has a blast every day. He would like a home that is active and can engage with him. He loves toys and to play ball! He is for sure not a couch potato! Very obedient but needs to learn more basic commands. Loves food/treats and will do anything for them so easily trained. Unsure of cats. He is semi-crate trained but understand he is crated for 12 hours due to our shifts here at work. I believe he will do fine with crate/house training in a home environment that allows her more time to go outside. Wilson is a cutie and smart as a whip. He is very food motivated which makes training easy. He is reliably housebroken too. He is terrific with shake, sit, and down. We are using his mealtimes to work his mind with puzzle feeders, games of hide and seek and learning new skills. Having a dog who is larger than Wilson is ideal for him as he enjoys rough and tumble play and needs an appropriate outlet for his mouthing behaviors. He is a high energy dog who would benefit from a secure off-leash place to exercise. Wilson can also chill really well in the evenings and he enjoys quiet time on the couch in the evenings with people. Recently, Wilson landed a spot on the human's bed, which he shares well with another dog. He has been perfect and not bothered anyone or anything overnight! If you are interested in a super terrific dog, please schedule a time to meet Wilson. We do know from a brief stay in a home that he cannot live in an apartment; he was very barky at all the sounds in the building.
