Cotton is looking for a family that has a great sense of humor and an understanding of the needs of this fun breed.Cotton is a double merle as is evident by his fluffy, white coat. It also can impact vision and hearing. In Cotton's case he is completely deaf but does have some vision- mainly shadows. But this has ZERO effect on this boy and the wonderful life he will live!Cotton loves playing with other dogs and is generally fantastic with them- he is still a young, male Aussie that can't always read other dog's signals. Occasionally, he irks his companions but he's a quick study and rarely repeats a misstep. He has been as respectful as he's able to with the resident cats. Cotton loves all humans he meets- big and small!Cotton is a good boy in his crate and has (knocks on wood) figured out house training like a champ. Cotton loves to go for runs with his foster dad and is great at it. He'd be a wonderful training companion. Cotton is an active boy and needs to keep his brain and body busy. He's smart and willing. Training him is a joy!Cotton is looking for a family that will encourage, train and help him continue to live a wonderfully full life. Herding dog knowledge is helpful but not necessary if you are willing and able to provide him the stimulation he needs. He does need another, welcoming dog in his new home. The give him a familiar, easy way to learn his new environment.Cotton will be endless laughs and the occasional head shake for his new family. They will truly be the lucky ones!So cute! Meet Willow- Look at this sweet girl with a gorgeous coat! Willow is one very happy pup. From her smile to her wiggly butt she shows her happiness every day. She has a beautiful merle/brindle coat and all four paws dipped in white. She know sit and come so far and we are working on wait. Willow sleeps all night in her kennel, is house trained and walks great on a harness and leash. She has been very friendly with my cat, other people and dogs she has met. Willow might have some retriever in her because she loves carrying toys around especially stuffies! Being only 3 months and a foster, Willow still has a shy side for new things like a loud garbage truck. She will come close to me for reassurance that it is okay. Meet Lovable Lucas -the 2 year old Corgi mix with a larger than life personality! This funny little guy has stolen the hearts of all who have met him , young and old, with his endless charm and playful antics. He may be small in size but his love for life is immeasurable. Lucas absolutely adores his daily walks with his doggy foster brothers, sniffing out new adventures and watching for squirrels and bunnies along the way. He has mastered the leash and prances along stopping to sniff here and there. Don’t be fooled by his cute appearance, this Corgi/Aussie mix has a STRONG herding instinct and is very fast! Luca MUST have a fenced yard as being on leash causes frustration for this guy. He loves to round up the resident dogs and cats in his foster home, although he means no harm. Lucas is slowly learning there is another side to life beyond herding and has taken on the game tug of war. Lucas enjoys his fur-siblings (cats and dogs) but needs structure and support in learning how to interact with them so everyone has fun. Lucas would be perfectly fine (and may prefer) being an only dog. If he is to join a pack, it needs to be with a dog savvy owner and tolerant playful dogs. Lucas is 100 percent potty trained and is working on his obedience. He has mastered sit, down, and spin. He is a quick learner and is currently working to perfect the stay, place, and leave it. He is smart and needs a job- working on obedience is a job. One of Lucas's favorite pastimes is playing with his herding ball in the backyard.
