I’m still working on putting on a few healthy pounds, but I promise I’ve got plenty of energy and enthusiasm to share while I get there.I love exploring, playing, and going on adventures — I’m always up for a hike, a walk, or a romp with another fun-loving dog who can keep up with me. I’ve also just discovered how awesome toys are! I’m learning to play and really starting to enjoy them — they make me so happy.I’m housetrained so you can check that off your list! As for the kennel, I’ll admit… I’m still learning to like my kennel (it’s a work in progress), but I respond well to training when someone’s patient and consistent with me. What I really need is a family who will help me stay healthy, commit to my training, and give me all the love and structure I deserve.If you’re looking for a loyal, outgoing adventure buddy who’s full of spirit and ready to grow (literally and figuratively!), then I can’t wait to meet you. Halo has been a beloved family dog since the day we brought her home. She is attached to me at the hip and is my most loyal companion. She’s always shown those typical Australian shepherd tendencies of being reactive to specific things. Once you get to know what makes her uncomfortable she is easily managed. We recently had a baby and I was worried to say the least. But she did AMAZING with our newborn I was so beyond thankful. But now my baby is 10 months old… she’s getting Mobil, she’s getting grabby, and Halo is becoming uncomfortable being around her and I don’t trust her as she has nipped other dogs before and ONLY at people when they put there face into her face… she does NOT like that and will nip. This is not a chance I’m willing to take when it comes to my baby. I’m heartbroken to say the least. I want nothing but the absolute best for Halo to have a long and happy life even if I’m not the one that can provide that for her as I had planned…

Well, we said that so many times to our "bottle baby fosters" they just didn't know what to do with us :) But they kept feeding us, waking up at all hours of the night and making sure we were fed and happy and loved..... SO, we are growing quickly and getting ready for our furever families!! Not the mama goes to the wayside when we meet you :D We are happy go lucky pups, Bear Bear is more sensitive than his sisters, he was the shyest pup but has come out of his shell, he is the one who will cuddle with you (until someone else wants to play). Sissies Lioness and Cheeta are spicy girls, loving and playful and Lioness likes to hang out behind things and then cry for help to get out.... or she cries because she is alone, OR she cries because no one has gotten her yet! Cheeta is more independent but will let you hold her and cuddle for about 10 min and then it is back to exploring and playing with her siblings :) As their foster moms, we love these little turds and pray they find the right homes for them. Active and adventurous for the girls and more laid back for Bear! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!!! WE cannot save more without adoptions!! I want to meet everyone! I love people, other animals, everyone!My favorite thing is being the life of the party! I often get complimented for bringing the energy to the dog park. I like to be chased and can get almost any dog to play with me: older dogs - yes, puppies - absolutely, herding breeds - try and catch me! Although I don’t need another dog in my future home, I do love having another pup to play and cuddle with.Cuddling is another happy place for me. I love to be held and cuddled. Despite my size, I consider myself a lap dog. If I can’t be in your lap or right next to you, holding my paw is sufficient. I will try and get in your lap or put my front paws on your chest. I am realizing this is not acceptable behavior and working on it. I also will give you puppy nibbles if you stop petting me, don’t pet me or I am overly stimulated, another thing I am working on. If you give me a chew toy I can easily be redirected. I especially love tug ropes, kongs, benebone/nylabones and puzzles.Ugh, the crate. Do we have to go there? It is a love/hate relationship. I will go in there, I will hang out in it but I don’t like the door closed and/or locked. I am sure I could get over this and learn to enjoy the crate, if necessary.If you need a companion in the car, pick me! I will go anywhere! Wherever you are planning to go a road trip from coast to coast, a spin around the block, errands, or sporting events I want to come along too.
