Story
Introducing the cutest little fluff you have ever seen, Pancho.  Pancho is a 12 week old shepherd mix – we don’t know the exact mix, but his ears stand up like a German Shepherd. Pancho loves to cuddle and is friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets. Pancho is being fostered with a littermate, and loves playing with his brother, and the older dogs in his foster home He likes playing with stuffed toys and bones, running around in the back yard and taking lots of naps.  Some details about Pancho: Housebreaking – in progress.  He is great about going potty when brought outside, and goes immediately after eating;  He is doing remarkably well for a puppy this age; however, he is a baby and will take some time to be reliably trained Crate training – doing great.  He sleeps quietly all night in the crate, and is crated periodically during the day.  He occasionally whines when first put in the crate, but settles down after a few minutes Other dogs – I love them, but sometimes bark at new dogs at first Cats – unknown.  I’m probably young enough to be successfully introduced, but I am a herding breed and might want to chase them Kids – I love them, but I am a puppy and need to be supervised with young children Breed mix / future size – unknown – most likely to be a medium to large sized dog Pancho is the whole package:  adorable, sweet, smart and playful.  We think he would be a great addition to just about any home.  If you would like to meet Pancho, please visit spotslatstsop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Hi there I’m Guppy! I’m an energetic and inquisitive sweetheart who LOVES everything. I’m a tall boy and around 55 pounds. I love to go swimming, I have no problem jumping right in the lake! I also love to play soccer and fetch. My foster mom thinks I would be great at agility training. I love meeting new people and dogs- sometimes so much that I get a little vocal in excitement. I'm otherwise a very quiet boy. I am house-trained and do well in my kennel. I am working on walking on a leash and learning very quickly, I sit nicely for treats! I have the best time at the dog park running and playing to get a lot of my energy out. I also like kids, especially when they scratch behind my ears and give me hugs. I would love to have an active family to keep me busy! I think adventuring is just the best! I can’t wait to find the perfect family to give all my love to, let’s meet!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi! I'm Malbec, and my name suggests wine, but I don't whine at all! In fact, I'm pretty quiet with an occasional bark. I am pretty laid back and gentle and I love to play with other dogs.I enjoy the outdoor life, laying on the grass is probably my favorite thing. I need a morning walk and I do excellent on the leash! I do love being with people and kids, pets on my belly are my favorite. Did I mention I do my business outside? Yep, I do. Kennels? I prefer to sleep on the floor by my fosters' bed but when they go away they put me in a kennel. I have been known to chew on a few things I shouldn’t so I’m somewhat understanding ‘leave it’ now. I hope to meet you and see if we will be a match. I am very lovable. Thanks for reading about me, Malbec--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Meet Cotton Candy! Meet the sweetest, funniest, goofiest boy around. Cotton is a little over a year old and full of Aussie energy. Cotton is looking for a family that has a great sense of humor and an understanding of the needs of this fun breed.Cotton is a double merle as is evident by his fluffy, white coat. It also can impact vision and hearing. In Cotton's case he is completely deaf but does have some vision- mainly shadows. But this has ZERO effect on this boy and the wonderful life he will live!Cotton loves playing with other dogs and is generally fantastic with them- he is still a young, male Aussie that can't always read other dog's signals. Occasionally, he irks his companions but he's a quick study and rarely repeats a misstep. He has been as respectful as he's able to with the resident cats. Cotton loves all humans he meets- big and small!Cotton is a good boy in his crate and has (knocks on wood) figured out house training like a champ. Cotton loves to go for runs with his foster dad and is great at it. He'd be a wonderful training companion. Cotton is an active boy and needs to keep his brain and body busy. He's smart and willing. Training him is a joy!Cotton is looking for a family that will encourage, train and help him continue to live a wonderfully full life. Herding dog knowledge is helpful but not necessary if you are willing and able to provide him the stimulation he needs. He does need another, welcoming dog in his new home. The give him a familiar, easy way to learn his new environment.Cotton will be endless laughs and the occasional head shake for his new family. They will truly be the lucky ones!So cute! Super cute!Cotton has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you have questions about Cotton or would like to meet him.

Story
Odin is a 9-year old Aussie mix who's owner died. From his foster: Looking for a sweet, friendly, silly, senior? Odin loves people and is great with dogs! He enjoys being active whether it's walks (although is a puller and we are working on that) or the dog park. His favorite is going to run around his foster granddads 42 acres!!! But Odin doesn't run off and comes when called! What a good boy Odin is a quiet boy, rarely makes a peep, not even when those darn delivery folks come to the door! He is completely potty trained, does great in a kennel but doesn't need one. He is currently not kenneled and does not get into anything. He has shown absolutely zero aggression or resource guarding with my dog nor any he has met. He's just a lovely good boy. Odin was born with a short lower jaw, although this does not hinder his eating or drinking. He often has his tongue out to the side and will dribble water a bit more than most dogs. He does great with his dry or canned food on a plate. Odin would do great in just about any household as he is a pretty easygoing guy but would do best with regular exercise. He is afraid of the vacuum but so far that's it. Does great in the car, good for baths, nail trims, and no fear of storms. From the Vet: Hi! My name is Odin and I would love to share some medical information we have learned from my history as well as my first exam at The Bond Between Vet Center! My jaw appears to have been congenital, but it is not at this time causing me any issues with my teeth! I do have history of seizures, however I have not had any episodes during the time I have been with my foster so the vet said I don't need any meds! While it is unlikely at this stage, my future adopter should monitor for any seizure activity and seek guidance with a primary vet thereafter. Hope to meet you soon and settle into my fur-ever home!

Story
Hi! My name is Olivia and I'm from Missouri! From her foster: Olivia is shy and slowly learning not all people are scary. She will cling to one person like velcro, following them wherever they go. She hates being away from her person and being alone. I recommend no shared walls as she'll bark and howl when kenneled or left alone, but otherwise, she is a fairly quiet pup, laying at my feet all day. She loves to snuggle with her person on the couch and the bed. Olivia is frightened by new sounds and places. She usually prefers to run and hide, but sometimes she'll bark or whimper if anxious. Olivia is only kenneled when we leave the house for her safety and the safety of our pets as the crate stresses her out. Olivia loves to run! She hasn't figured out fetch yet but loves to chase the ball. She has started to chew more and loves Nylabones and crinkle toys. Squeakers scare her though. Due to her timid nature, I have not taken her on walks but I would recommend a harness as she is easily spooked. A fenced backyard would also be best for this reason. Getting Olivia to eat was a struggle at first, but we discovered she loves peanut butter and were able to encourage her to eat her kibble by drizzling some on her food. She is currently eating 2-3 meals a day and is now 17 lbs! She should probably be closer to 20 lbs as she is still quite bony. Her new family will need to have a lot of patience with food as it took almost two weeks before she started eating regularly and even now she still needs me to sit with her. Oliva may or may not like men. We can't figure out what triggers her, but sometimes when my husband enters the house or emerges from downstairs, she starts barking out of fear. But she'll sit on the couch with us and sleep in the bed without issues. She also barked once at our daughter when she entered the house after playing outside. But she has never behaved this way with me. Please consider if you have a quiet home and would love a faithful shadow to consider Olivia.
