I’m still working on putting on a few healthy pounds, but I promise I’ve got plenty of love and enthusiasm to share while I get there.I love exploring, playing, and going on adventures — I’m always up for a hike, a walk, or a romp with another fun-loving dog who can be my friend through it all. I’ve also just discovered how awesome toys are! I’m learning to play and really starting to enjoy them — they make me so happy.I’m housetrained so you can check that off your list! As for the kennel, I’ll admit… I’m still learning to like my kennel (it’s a work in progress), but I respond well to training when someone’s patient and consistent with me. What I really need is a family who will help me stay healthy, commit to my training, and give me all the love and structure I deserve.If you’re looking for a loyal, outgoing adventure buddy who’s full of spirit and ready to grow (literally and figuratively!), then I can’t wait to meet you. From his foster: Bentley is a curious and energetic boy who can be a little timid when he first meets you, but after a couple of days he really starts to get comfortable. He loves to go on walks and run around the yard, play fetch and lay on the couch with you. Bentley is also very receptive to training cues, especially when given a treat. Bentley would thrive with someone who is patient, willing to continue training, and active. Bentley has shown a lot of improvement with his back, he seems to have no issue being pet there anymore. Bentley is also a little sneaky and will try to slip through gaps in the door when he can to go outside and run around, continued training is advised. From the Vet: When Bentley came for his first exam at The BB Vet Center he was sensitive to touch on his back. He doesn't show any signs of pain in his foster home and right now he is only on an omega-3 supplement for joint support and doing very well!

Meet Indie! She's in need of rehoming. She is spay, has her rabies shot and is microchipped. 2 years old and 50 pounds. She is a very smart very loving dog! Best suited for someone who will be able to keep her mentally and physically engaged. She is high energy! She is house trained and kennel trained. Even though she’s high energy she loves to be a couch potato with her human too. She does ok with other dogs, most dogs she likes but occasionally there’s one she can’t stand. She should be monitored around other dogs. She has displayed a short temper with some of them. She seems to be respectful of cats. We’ve had large groups over for football parties etc. she does awesome! I’m not sure about little kids. She is a sensitive soul. So if you get upset with her or use gruff words she reacts immediately. She is not destructive. She’s very athletic and LOVES water!
