I’m still working on putting on a few healthy pounds, but I promise I’ve got plenty of love and enthusiasm to share while I get there.I love exploring, playing, and going on adventures — I’m always up for a hike, a walk, or a romp with another fun-loving dog who can be my friend through it all. I’ve also just discovered how awesome toys are! I’m learning to play and really starting to enjoy them — they make me so happy.I’m housetrained so you can check that off your list! As for the kennel, I’ll admit… I’m still learning to like my kennel (it’s a work in progress), but I respond well to training when someone’s patient and consistent with me. What I really need is a family who will help me stay healthy, commit to my training, and give me all the love and structure I deserve.If you’re looking for a loyal, outgoing adventure buddy who’s full of spirit and ready to grow (literally and figuratively!), then I can’t wait to meet you. I warm up to people very fast and I am very adventurous! At night, I am very well behaved, I sleep in my covered kennel without whining and even hold my potty till morning! I’m still being potty trained and have some accidents here and there but I’m trying my very best! I am still timid on the leash with walking, but it’s been really cold out so I’ve been confused. Hasn’t been around other dogs or small children/cats yet

Hi, my name is Mollie and I am from Texas! From her foster: Mollie is a sweet, gentle young dog with a calm presence and a loving heart. She’s relaxed and quiet most of the time, but gets excited when she knows it’s time to play or head outside. She loves her walks and does pretty well on leash. Mollie is new to snow and cold weather and enjoys stopping to explore, making walks a little longer, perfect for someone who enjoys a leisurely pace. Inside the home, Mollie has great manners. She is potty trained and crate trained, knows “sit,” and is working on other commands. She loves snuggles and belly rubs and enjoys being close to her people. Around new people, Mollie may be a little cautious at first, but she warms up quickly and has shown she can be curious and friendly in public settings. She’s settling in beautifully and would make a wonderful companion.
