Meet Chase- Chase is an adorable 6 month old mixed breed puppy. We don’t know his breed mix, but he has a beautiful medium length tan and white coat and the cutest little bob tail. He is likely to be a medium sized dog as an adult. Chase is a social, playful puppy who loves human attention and loves to play with other dogs. He likes chewing on bones, stuffed toys and running around in the back yard. He recently discovered balls and seems to be a natural retriever. When he is tired he loves snuggling with his people or the other dogs in his foster home. He has been to puppy events, and did great socializing with other dogs and humans of all ages. Chase is crate trained and sleeps quietly in his kennel all night. He will also seek out his kennel and will chill in there with the door open when he wants some quiet time. He is potty trained under supervision. Chase is very food motivated, which means he will be easy and fun to train. Meet Daisy! Daisy is a beautiful Aussie who is looking for a home of her very own. In addition to being the most stunning girl on the block she has the sweetest personality to match and cannot wait to share her love with her forever family. Daisy had a difficult start to her life and was used to breed litter after litter. Thankfully she was released from her breeder and welcomed into rescue where she was vetted and shown what a home is for the first time. Because of this Daisy is learning so much about her big new world! She’s learning about the ins and outs of house training, crate training, and basic commands. She is eager to please and very good motivated so she’s proven to be a quick study! Daisy is also learning that humans are kind and gentle. She is very submissive and can be nervous at times with quick movements, raised voices and loud noises. Because of this she will be best in a home with older, dog savvy children or no children at all. But once she builds her relationship with her human she loves to be with them, snuggle, go for walks and play! Until then she will do best in a calm and patient home. I am a very handsome young adult male Mini Aussiedoodle who doesn’t like a lot of commotion, but I love to cuddle, and I prefer women. Truth is, I am highly sensitive and reactive to ‘stranger danger’! That’s right, I react to people approaching the front door, coming into the house, and even people approaching my kennel. I know…it’s not something I’m proud of but I’m working on it…really, I am!! In fact, foster mom is trying to help me associate new people (strangers) with positive outcomes and I am confident that I will be successful in time but for now it is still a work in progress. In the meantime, mom sometimes puts a muzzle on me and although it doesn’t bother me at all I prefer, of course, not to wear it so my new family will need to commit to working with me on training. Muzzle training may make me look scary, but it allows me to safely meet and work on my training so I can be happy!  After all, consistency, patience, loving encouragement, and LOTS of mental and physical stimulation are the keys to my success!!! I am good with older kids, cats, and other dogs; and my favorite activities include going on my daily leashed walks or car rides; hiking; exploring; eating treats like plain Greek yogurt or pumpkin; playing with small squeaky toys and other dogs; chewing on Benebones; and running zoomies in the yard so the yard at my new home will need to be fenced! Hee, hee!! I also hope to have a small, confident doggie companion who might help me overcome some of my anxiety about strangers!!! By the way, I almost forgot to mention that I am a prodigy…no, really! I'm Kiwi, the pint-sized dynamo with a heart full of love and a zest for life. Let me give you the lowdown on the awesomeness that is me: Picture this – shades of brown and cream, one ear perpetually popped up, and eyes that tell stories – one blue and one brown. Yep, that's me, a young Mini Aussie turning heads wherever I go! Now, here's the thing – they say I'm a bit hard of hearing, but I've got my own language. I have a slight hearing loss due to being born with hydrocephalus.  We think I can hear deeper sounds, but not higher pitches. Silent hand claps for applause (and belly rubs, of course), gentle taps on the ribs for attention, and some cool hand signals like thumbs up for SIT and a wave for "come on down." I'm mastering the art of communication!  I am sometimes a bit unsteady on my feet and circle around when stimulated - that's some of my hydrocephalus showing.  But, there are no long term needs known at this time.  I might have some uniqueness, but it makes me special! Life's a classroom, and I'm here to soak it all in. I do require a fenced yard in my forever home AND need to be leashed in the yard until I understand when my people want me to come inside. My people said it is best for me to be double leashed as I am skittish and a flight risk. She says “Safety First”  before we go outside. Did I mention my love for food? It's basically everything, and I'm open to culinary adventures! Sometimes I get food aggressive, so if there is another dog around at mealtime, I would suggest that meals are served in a kennel. My people have a puzzle food toy that I LOVE, foster mom says it is a great way to help me slow down and focus at mealtimes. We are also working on kennel training. So far, I prefer a wire kennel over a plastic kennel. And foster mom has been letting me sleep in the bed. Although I tend to get into things so she keeps me on a leash, even during sleepy time! Again, safety first! Potty training is a work in progress, my people said I am a whirling dervish when nature calls – hee hee. I definitely have a “signal” if you are paying attention! Typical of my breed, I would thrive in a home that will give me a job and keep me busy. I know that obedience school or agility training would be a fantastic way to bond and learn new things. My people said that I am very smart and started counter surfing and exploring into things I shouldn’t, kinda like a toddler (hee hee) so they provide supervision and things for me to do. I may be a tiny tot, but I've got a big heart and a spirit ready for adventures. If you're up for teaching, loving, and navigating life together, let's make it happen! Bonnie is a female 1 yr old 41 lb Border Collie. She loves other dogs and people. She is an energetic, very affectionate and smart gal that likes playing with her foster dogs and toys. She likes to swim too. She is crate trained. She is a great companion for an active/outdoorsy family with a securely fenced yard. She is an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks/hikes and some dog training. No apartments! No cats please. Border Collie experience highly recommended.
