Story
Scout is 9 years old. We have had him for 8 years. We purchased him from an individual who could no longer keep him. We used him as a stud to breed. Since we had two studs, he was separated from our other dogs. He was kept inside the home until he "came of age". He has primarily been kept in a dog run with inside shelter. Scout doesn't know a stranger. He loves everyone. He has never shown any aggression to any person or animal. I am not aware of anything that rattles him. We live in the country. We take him out of the dog run daily for play and exercise. He loves to play fetch with a ball. He will fetch the ball an average of three or four times, then he voluntarily returns to the dog run. He'll drop the ball, then lay down and wants his stomach scratched. After a good scratch, he returns to the dog run where he waits for his milk bone treat. If a car happens to go by, he'll look at it, then go back to whatever he was doing. He has never chased a vehicle.

Story
I got her from a friend who needed to find a home for her due to a divorce. I was suppose to be a short term option but that fell through. Aurora is a good dog, loves the outside, people, treats and especially belly rubs. She takes sometime to get use to new people but she becomes very protective once she knows you. Aurora needs more than what I can currently give her. I work long days and overtime, and I have to kennel her during this time. She can get anxious by herself and chew when she's alone for extended periods of time. She comes with a large kennel, dog bed, leash and collar, and outside cable leash with stake. Looking for a loving home. She has been around my sisters golden doodle and she really enjoyed the company of another dog and I haven't had her around small children, though I believe she has a very kind temperament and would do great.

Story
Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today! My home needs are:I am deaf. I can’t hear you, but I can feel the love you give!

Story
We acquired Bailey in 2019 through a friend who could not take care of her. I am unclear on her exact age but I was told when we got her that she was 1.5 so she would be about 8.5 years old now. I think she would thrive best in a home where she is the only pet. I would recommend no kids too. She needs someone who is able to care for her special diet and get her groomed regularly. This new home must also be patient as she takes awhile to warm up to others. I would describe Bailey as sweet and loving with a side of spice. She craves attention and comfort but she can be aggressive at times. She is little but she is loud!

Story
Mila is a toy Aussie. She’s a well trained doggy. She rings a bell to be let outside to potty. She loves going on walks. She loves to play fetch. She knows how to sit , lay down and stay. She knows how to bring over the remote control lol. We do love her very much but we have a baby now and have been unable to take care of Mila. Sadly, we never have time for her anymore. We like to say she’s a “human doggy” not a “dog doggy” as in she prefers the company of people rather than other dogs. We’d love for her to find a new loving home. She’s honestly a really good doggy and would make an amazing bestie for anyone who decides to be her new home.
