Story
Meet Tori! Many people take life for granted, go through life with a sense of boredom and in the same old routines... if you are looking for true happiness and appreciation of life, meet Tori, and turn your life into "TORIffic!" You see, Tori spent her first 11 months of life on a chain, missing out on puppy play, snuggles and kisses. But the chains have been cut, and freedom has been found, and she has already forgotten her past. Every morning, she wakes up with excitement and energy, ready to explore her newfound freedom. She's quickly learning love and trust. She's discovering the fun of squeak toys, the joy of playing with other dogs, and the comfort of a house. Tori is ready for a place to call home. Tori loves kids and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She's curious about cats; her foster home has several. If you think you might be the one to join Tori on her journey, then apply to adopt Tori and save your life! Tori will come fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt Tori today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog or at www.lucky13rescue.org.

Story
Approx. DOB: 5/5/18                Approx. Weight: 69 Lbs Adoption Fee: $ 225   includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! We are not sure what Diamond is. The vet clinic listed as a Bearded Collie, however on the surrender form it said Sheepdog/ Australian Shepherd.  Whatever she is, she is definitely a beauty! Diamond would do best in a home where her humans are home more than not. She does have some separation anxiety. She will whine when you first put her in the crate but I tell her it's bedtime and she settles in. I think her having another dog in her new family will also help any anxiety she may feel being left alone during the day. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home and has had no issues with any of them. However, she has been returned 2x now due to having separation anxiety and for having a tussle with the other dog in the home. She definitely enjoys her humans and lights up when you return. She originally came from a family with children and did well with our volunteers daughter (11 yrs). She will need a dog savvy owner. Diamond absolutely loves going for car rides and she loves going on walks. Are you looking for a walking or jogging buddy you have found her! Diamond is going to make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is very well behaved in the home. And just look at those beautiful blue eyes she has!  I have been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible.   Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support! Story
Has your bed felt too empty as of late? Do you have a small, suspiciously fluffy, roughly 40 lbs with 4 legs, hole in your heart? Fret no more, because Allie will fit that spot perfectly. This compact little lady is sweeter than a Georgian woman's homemade sweet tea. All this gentle Aussie mix needs is someone willing to take it slow and gentle with her. Despite her affectionate nature, Allie is still shy. It might take some time (and treats), but once you get her out of her shell and into your lap, she will never leave! Allie's goals in life are quite simple. First, be adorable. Second, find a face to kiss. And third, find her forever home! Allie gets one and two checked off everyday, but she needs your help with the last one! Come meet Allie today and see if she's your missing piece!
