We are located in Plain City, OH and have a healthy Aussie beagle mix named Milo who is around 5/6 years old. We rescued him from Franklin County Shelter. We have a one year old in the house and are expecting another in February 2027. Milo seems very unhappy with this new life change. We also aren’t able to exercise him like we used to. Due to his energy/herding nature and lack of exercise he is very cooped up and stressed. We also have a Great Dane in the home who our Aussie has not been getting along with recently. As Milo has gotten older he has made it clear that he is not fond of other dogs and thrives in a home when it is just him. We love our Aussie (Milo) but feel he would be much happier in a home with no kids or other animals that has a fenced in backyard where he can get his exercise out. I would love to continue to be apart of his life and help with any vet bills or anything at all that new owners may need help with in the future.

We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for Penny, our 5-year-old Australian Shepherd. Penny belongs to my 16-year-old daughter and has been a very loved member of our family.Penny is spayed, microchipped, and very sweet. She is a little shy around strangers, especially men, because she has grown up in an all-female household. She may need a little time to feel comfortable with someone new, but once she warms up, she is a loving and affectionate girl.Penny has also grown up with our Chihuahua, so she is very comfortable around other dogs and gets along well with them.Her favorite things are butt scratches, cuddling under the covers, and being close to her people.Unfortunately, our family is moving from a house into an apartment, and we cannot keep Penny in our new living situation. He came to us from a hoarding situation, and while he has already made wonderful progress, the world is still a new and sometimes overwhelming place for him. Sting is a shy, timid boy with an incredibly sweet nature. Everyone who meets him says the same thing — this dog doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He simply needs a little time and patience to feel safe and understand what it means to be part of a family.Because of his background, Sting is still figuring out how to “be a dog.” One thing we've already learned about him, though — he absolutely loves the ladies! He takes comfort in gentle voices and calm companionship. She goes in easily and keeps it neat and clean. At 23 lbs, she's probably about as big as she's going to get. Upon adoption she'll be spay and completely vaccinated.
