She could be so scared hiding in the corner at first, once she realizes the kindness from people she will transform into a cuddler, yearning to rub on you, follow you around, and shower you with kisses😽. Beautiful Zelda is like a cute little brown bear seeking love and attention. She doesn’t mind other dogs, super friendly when interacting with them. Porter Brewery has the sweetest little face, the silliest puppy energy, and an innocent personality that makes it nearly impossible not to fall in love with him. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him time to take everything in, and you’ll soon see the playful, adorable little guy hiding underneath those initial nerves. He is believed to be a Mini Australian Shepherd mix, but as always with animal rescue, breed and age are our best guesses and we can never guarantee either. Although Porter still looks very much like a puppy, we don’t expect him to get much bigger, if at all. Porter is dog friendly and currently being fostered in a multi-dog household. He enjoys playing chase and has a fun but generally gentle playstyle. If another dog gets a little too pushy or rambunctious, Porter will let them know he needs some space, but his corrections are always fair. He has also spent time around cats and currently lives with one in his foster home. So far, he has done well! This sweet boy is playful, energetic, silly, and still has that wonderfully innocent puppy way about him. He loves treats, enjoys playing with toys, and will happily keep himself busy when given something fun to do. He can be slower to warm up to new people, but he simply needs a little time to feel comfortable. Once he does, his sweet personality begins to shine. Porter is crate trained and comfortable resting in his crate, although he may bark from time to time. His potty training is also going well, and he seems to understand that potty time happens outside. Porter would be happiest in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. He has plenty of playful Aussie energy packed into his little body, so he would love someone who appreciates a smart, active dog and doesn’t mind keeping his brain busy with toys, games, walks, and new things to learn. Shandy Brewery looks like someone shrunk an Australian Shepherd, borrowed a pair of Corgi ears, and added just enough fluff to make her resemble a tiny teddy bear. At only 9 pounds, she may be teeny, but her confident, spunky personality is full size. She is sweet, affectionate, endlessly curious, and quite possibly one of the cutest little dogs you’ll ever see. Of course, breed and age are always our best guesses in animal rescue, and we can never guarantee either. What we can confirm is that she has the tiny size and fabulous ears of a Corgi with the looks, intelligence, and playful personality of an Aussie. Shandy is dog friendly and has done wonderfully with the dogs we’ve introduced her to. She has a very typical Aussie-style play preference and would much rather start a good game of chase than wrestle. If a dog closer to her size gets too rough, she will politely remind them that she is small and should be treated accordingly. With bigger dogs, she seems to understand that she is the tiniest one in the room and usually just goes with the flow. She also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction beautifully. Shandy was respectful, did not chase him, and wasn’t bothered by Biggie jumping around and doing all of the strange little things cats do. Biggie felt comfortable around her too! We don’t know whether Shandy has ever lived with a cat, and this was our first time seeing her around one. If you have a cat and would like a little extra reassurance, we can arrange a cat sleepover for Shandy upon request. Just let us know! This fluffy little girl loves treats, toys, and being wherever her people are. She will happily settle at your feet while you work or move from room to room, making sure her tiny supervisory services are always available. She enjoys affection and doesn’t mind being held, but she appreciates being given a little time to build trust before being scooped up like the teddy bear she resembles. Shandy is crate trained and generally seems comfortable in her crate, although she does have plenty to say about life both inside and outside of it. Apartment living could be possible with training, but shared-wall neighbors may not fully appreciate her passionate commentary. Potty training is also going well, but since she is still young, she may need a few reminders about where the approved bathroom locations are. She is highly intelligent and curious, so she would love someone who enjoys training and giving her little brain something to do. She isn’t an especially high-energy dog, but she is an Aussie-type girl who likes to learn, explore, and feel involved. Breed experience would be wonderful, or at least a family ready to embrace everything that comes with having a smart little herding dog. Shandy could do well with respectful, dog-savvy children. Like many herding breeds, she may occasionally use her mouth to communicate or try to organize the household, but she never intends to hurt anyone. She just has opinions about where everyone should be. She is an amazing, affectionate little companion with a fun personality, a clever mind, and ears that deserve their own fan club. Hazy Brewery is the kind of dog who makes a home feel a little softer and a lot more loving. She is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she is curled up close to one of her people. With her beautiful merle coat, big fluffy ears, and sweet little face, Hazy is absolutely adorable, but it is her loving personality that will truly steal your heart. Hazy is currently fostered in a home with a little girl around 3 years old, and the two of them get along wonderfully. She is gentle, affectionate, and absolutely loves people. Whether she is curled up beside you, following you around the house, or politely requesting more attention, Hazy is happiest when she has someone nearby to love. She is also dog friendly and has done great with every dog we have introduced her to. Hazy is not the most playful girl in the group and usually prefers roaming around, doing her own thing, or finding a person to love on. She will occasionally break out her adorable mini zoomies or join in a light game of chase, but for the most part, she is perfectly content simply hanging out. Hazy also met our house cat, Biggie, and handled the introduction beautifully. She was calm and respectful, did not attempt to chase him, and was not bothered by Biggie jumping around or doing typical cat things. Biggie seemed comfortable around her as well. We do not know whether Hazy has ever lived with a cat, and this was our first time observing her around one. If you have a cat in your home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Hazy is crate trained and seems comfortable relaxing in her crate. So far, she has also shown us that she has great house manners. She has not shown much interest in toys, but that is probably because affection will win over a toy every single time. She loves treats, takes them gently, and is eager to please. With her lower energy level and easygoing personality, Hazy has the potential to do well in an apartment or a home with a backyard. She will be happy taking a walk around the neighborhood, spending a little time exploring outside, and then settling in for a lazy day at home with her people. Hazy does not need a nonstop adventure or a basket overflowing with toys to be happy. She simply wants love, companionship, and a comfortable place to curl up beside someone who will adore her just as much as she adores them. Kaia is a loving playful 2 year old dog. She is fiercely loyal to her people, and well-trained with two years of professional consistent training. She struggles with anxiety especially people anxiety with young children. We moved into the city, and there are 20 kids on our block. We are worried about her comfort and the safety of our neighbors. She would do amazing with some space. We lived in a spread out suburb before and she did great. She should be with people that don’t have children (although she does great with our kids), but the visiting children on play dates had been bad for her anxiety. She LOVES other dogs and does great with other big hiking outdoorsy dogs.

This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
