Story
Best family dog! I am so sweet! Why do I not have a home? Likes dogs, humans, cats, walks and car rides! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I would like a family looking for a Austrialian Shepherd mix. My owner had a medical issue and could no longer care for me. Rusty Bubbles is a ma le 5 mos old and 25 lb Austrialian Shepherd mix. I love people, toys, car rides, dogs etc. I am a semi energetic, very affectionate lad that likes playing with toys and hang out with my people. I am an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks and some dog training. Courtesay post for Helotes Humane Society. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
This gorgeous girl is Scarlet Love. Scarlet is VERY shy at first but has such a lovable personality, she’s naturally joyful, but incredibly calm. She’s so sweet and affectionate, quick to ask for belly rubs and so tolerant- this girl is happy to go with the flow. She is so obedient, eager to please and highly trainable. She is currently just over a year old, just 36 pounds, and we think she may be a German Shepherd and Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue, exact breed and age are always unknown to us, and cannot be guaranteed. Fall in love with Scarlet here: https://youtu.be/4RZHP5Zh-8Y?si=Lmf3AbDleft-sKI5 Once Scarlet settled in and decompresses in her new home she will enjoy snuggling up on the couch. Once she’s on the couch, that’s where she wants to stay, calm and content. She’s looking forward to movie nights with her forever family! Scarlet isn’t the most playful, but she can be convinced to play! Scarlet is very tolerant with other dogs, shows her belly and is very communicative with other dogs through her body language. Scarlet does well with dogs both big and small, she’s a sweetheart through and through. Scarlet has cohabitated with cats before, and here at the rescue she was cat-tested by our behavior team. She’s very tolerant of cats, barely interested and happy to peacefully coexist. Our behavior team recommends her for a home with cats! Scarlet is such a joy to be around, so affectionate and attentive. She’s highly intelligent. While she knows some basic commands already, and could happily live the rest of her life with only this level of training, her intelligence and eagerness to please will make her a very enjoyable dog to train. Scarlet will make a great hiking buddy, with her stamina, love for exploring, and attentiveness to her person. Scarlet is not too picky about her forever home, she’s just ready to find her forever family. With daily walks, Scarlet could do well in an apartment. Scarlet could live with cats, dogs, or as an only-pet. Scarlet has not spent much time with kids, to our knowledge, but has such a sweet and tolerant personality, and will likely do well with them. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Please email Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
****Fostered in the PNW (Everett, WA) and available for Meet & Greets**** Meet Sierra New Caney! This adorable 2-month-old Australian Shepherd/ German Shepherd Dog mix (we think- it's always a guess with rescue!), currently a petite 10.3lbs., is a bundle of joy waiting for her forever home. Though her breed is a best guess by the rescue, one thing's for sure—Sierra is 100% lovable! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. One great thing about puppies is they are blank slates (cue Taylor Swift)! Because of this Sierra is great with kids and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for a lively household. Watch the video and see her play with some other puppies, explore and make friends with Athena- an adult pittie mix! She's still young enough to learn to live with cats, so she's open to making new furry friends. Sierra's favorite activities include playing, eating, napping, and being held—she's the perfect companion for both fun and cuddles. Sierra is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and show off around your neighborhood. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate puppy to complete your family, Sierra New Caney is the one for you! Adopt this little cutie and fill your home with endless love and joy. Apply Here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/667ed155cc6118418e00fed1 E-mail kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our dogs and cats are brought to you in style by a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Story
Australian Shepherd + Labrador Retriever + German Shepherd Mix 10 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No I don’t want to seem like a show-off or anything, but I am pretty sweet, and friendly, and affectionate with people... unless I am on leash! Goodness do I need help with my leash manners, I can pretty grumpy meeting new people and dogs on leash. I won’t mind sharing my home with kids 10+, or other dogs. I mean, they are all so much fun to play with! But I’m not to sure how to be friends with a kitty. I could run and wrestle and romp all day! I’m a pretty happy boy with a great attitude and a curious demeanor. I’ve got the brains to excel at arithmetic, but who am I kidding…I just can’t wait for recess! I’m super smart, playful, eager to please, and longing to be loved; so a family that is committed to working on continued training, giving me lots of guidance and structure is exactly what I need. I am teenager who is rebelling a little bit and need someone to help rein it in! Why not come in and meet me? I want so badly to show off what a cute fella I am! My adoption fee is $200 and includes microchip & registration, neuter, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
***** Apply to adopt at: https://greatheartk9.com/finn ***** Finn is a 4.5 year old ‘mini’ Australian Shepherd. As with his breed, he is full of energy and extremely smart!! His favorite thing is to play fetch. He absolutely loves to learn new things and train. He enjoys putting his brain to work for mealtime with various puzzles and snuffle mats. Finn has challenges on walks with regards to reactivity towards people and dogs and will require continued training. He will also need his adopter to continue working on noise desensitization to triggers. Finn is on behavior modification medications and these will need to be continued for him to thrive. Finn is searching for a special person who is calm, patient and committed to positive reinforcement training. He would do best in a house with a large yard with space from neighbors and is used to his human working from home.. He cannot be in a home with either cats or children.
