Our 3-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd is the sweetest, most loving dog. We have had him since he was just 8 weeks old, and he has been such a special part of our family ever since. He has the best personality—gentle, affectionate, and always wanting to be close to the people he loves. He is incredibly loyal, smart, and full of love, and he truly has the kindest heart. He enjoys being around family, getting attention, and bringing happiness to everyone he meets. He has grown up in a loving home and has always been well cared for, and he deserves nothing but the best. He knows lots of tricks including sit, stay, lay down, play dead, etc. He is a great dog but unfortunately we live in a one bedroom apartment and just had a newborn baby and we aren’t able to give him the attention and exercise he deserves and we feel we are doing him more harm then good.

This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Ashur has social and separation anxiety and allergies. He needs and deserves attention that I am not able to provide him. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He needs a human that has a lot of patience and will love him unconditionally. He will surely return the favor. He loves to cuddle. While Ashur may not do well with strangers, once he is familiar with you (doesn't take long) he is a very loving, attached, cuddly 6 year old dog. 🥰 I cannot give him what he needs. He is bored and lonely majority of the day being home alone for a minimum of 12 hours daily. I also learned the hard way that I am allergic to dogs. I will have to put him to sleep soon if I am unable to find Ashur a new home. Please help. He needs a new home as soon as possible.
