This resilient dog named Chalupa was rescued from a TN shelter along with his mate named Nachos (a young black Lab female). Against all odds they were not euthanized, but brought to safety by people who cared about them. Nachos has gone to foster care, but Chalupa has been stuck in a boarding facility waiting on his chance to be in a home. Chalupa is an amazing boy, very happy and friendly. He easily meets people and other dogs. Chalupa is energetic and would do best with a fenced yard or an active person. He typically waits until 7 am before needing to go out.Eddie has a lot of energy and needs an active home where he has an outlet for that energy. He would ideally have another energetic, playful dog in the home to keep him company and play with, or a home where he can have a “job,” such as herding or another activity that gives him a purpose and helps him burn energy.Eddie would do best in a cat-free home. He is extremely fearful of cats and does not feel comfortable around them. We are looking for a loving, patient, active home where Eddie can continue to learn, play, and be part of the family.
