I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active!  In fact, I've been working with a trainer and its's recommended a daily walk (outside Or on the treadmill!) for mental stimulation. I’m totally potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best as an only dog so I can get all your attention. We can Netflix and chill on the couch and I promise to be your bestest friend and loyal companion. Foster mom says I’ll keep you laughing all day long with my bulldog antics and hey, we can check out the world.  I am leash trained and like to go for short walks. Listen, I may not be the fastest or most fit, but I can keep up! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. If you’re looking for a special Bulldog who just wants to be your best friend and play fetch, I’m your girl! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Meet Bright, a 3 year old English Bulldog or call her a house hippo or a potato, all of the above are accurate! Bright will fill your day with hilarious attitude, bulldog snoring and lots of snuggles. She spends her day rotating through snoozing spots - the couch, the dog bed, your lap, a sunny spot on the deck - you name it, she can sleep there! When not sleeping, she likes to wander the yard, gets the occasional zoomies and rolls around on her back while growling and barking at herself. She has some very unique growls and noises that make her a hoot. Bright is excellent with other dogs. She will either interact appropriately or just ignore them, depending on her mood. She is also great with kids. Bright is a champ in her kennel, just be patient as she sloooowly saunters over to it. She sleeps in there at night and also does well when in it during the day, even when people are around. She rides well in the car and walks great on a leash with minimal pulling. She loves treats and takes them very gentle. She has potty training about 99% mastered.She had nose surgery which has greatly improved her breathing. Bright looks forward to meeting her forever family and filling their home with love and laughter! She will be a great addition to any household. Hi! I'm Mango. I'm a 2-3 year old "pocket"/mini bully breed mix. I'm kennel trained and potty trained! I love to be around and on my people! I walk great on a leash! I'm dog friendly, but have some issues with toy aggression, so need to be supervised around other dogs with that. But, other than that, I'm an awesome girl looking for her furever home!
