We have gleaned many awesome dogs from near and far, of all ages, sizes and breeds who need homes. And we need to make room in our fosters and at our Adoption Center to get ready for the busy summer season.
Help us move dogs into loving homes!!!!

ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!
ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35-40lbs
KNOWN WITH DOGS: Yes, good with other dogs. He co-exists with other dogs as long as they're not too hyper (not interested in playing, but ok with other dog's presence).
KNOWN WITH CATS: Liam will sometimes chase a cat, but if the cat sets it's boundary, Liam listens
KNOWN WITH KIDS: No kids - due to his food/toy guarding, this will be case by case, but ideally older than 16 or an adult-only home
KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit, stay, down and off
KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Liam will settle, but does have moments of wanting out of his crate at the center.
KNOWN LIKES: Affection, treats, training, squeaky toys counter surfing/trash digging
KNOWN DISLIKES: Liam can be possessive and needs people to respect his space while he is eating. He does not like people taking his toy or food away without trading something in return, people with hats/sunglasses. sudden loud noises, dogs barking.
ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Liam was recently returned to Homeward Trails due to his food/toy guarding
