Story
Sweet Willy came from a home where he and 9 other Beagles were chained to garbage cans their entire lives. Taken off the chains only when the owner hunted with them. Willy had the worst situation of them all, his garbage can was so small that her couldn't even stand up in it! His back was so sore when he arrived that it took him a week or so before he could comfortably run and play with the gang. He was chained up like that for 10 YEARS! Willy is the sweetest boy you will ever meet and just needs a home where he can live out his days with lots of love and good care. He is very healthy, heart worm negative, crate trained microchipped and ready for his forever home. Could that be you? Please give him a chance! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $250

Story
Female, 10 years old, 28 lbs. Personality: shy, smart, calm, quiet, and curious. Sammy is a spry senior with so much love to give. She radiates a calm and gentle demeanor that makes her an ideal companion for those seeking a tranquil presence in their lives. Sammy's resilient spirit shines through as she learns to embrace joy and wagging her tail more often. She thrives on leisurely walks through the woods, reveling in the serenity of nature. Sammy's quiet nature extends to her behavior at home, where she rarely barks and makes herself comfortable in her crate when she needs a break. A smart cookie, Sammy hasn't had accidents in the house and knows the word "sit". A mellow soul at heart, Sammy enjoys the simple pleasures of rest and relaxation but also demonstrates surprising bursts of energy when the mood strikes. Sammy's adaptability and willingness to explore make her an ideal adventure companion for those seeking a furry friend to accompany them on outdoor excursions. With her gentle disposition, Sammy embodies the essence of a loyal and devoted canine friend. Sammy was saved by Madison and Joel Peralta in honor of Junebug, their beloved CDCK senior rescue, who epitomized the power of second chances. She loved, and is loved and missed in turn, very fiercely. If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. Story
Male, 3 years old, 30 lbs Personality: affectionate, gentle, easygoing, eager-to-please, loyal, snuggler, and adaptable. Looking for your shadow (dog)? Meet Tyler - an affectionate boy who follows your every move! Unless you have a squirrel toy or a ball (bonus points if it squeaks!), Tyler wants to cuddle all day long. When he's not cuddling, he loves to go for walks and wants to meet all of the dogs outside. Whether you're walking or in the park, he'll look for new friends -- dog or human -- nearby. Tyler is not only a great dog, but a great employee! This affectionate boy joins his foster at the office, and he learned his way around the building in just a week! Good boy Tyler also knows to sit at his foster's feet during meetings. Unphased by the sounds of city life, Tyler loves to say hello to people everywhere he goes. He's also up for adventures, and he does great in the car as you go to your latest destination. This smart boy knows the words "sit", "drop", "stay", and "no" -- he's a quick learner! Tyler is a gentle snuggler who will make sure you start your day with some great cuddles.
