A SWEET & FRIENDLY GIRL: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hello – I’m Honeybun!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m so grateful to be part of the MM family. I’m currently in a wonderful foster home enjoying life while I wait for the day someone comes along and chooses me to be their very own.  I needed bloodwork before my surgery (see medical section below) and I've had that thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I enjoyed hanging out with two dogs in one of my temp. foster homes as well as playing with some dogs I met at the Mostly Mutts shelter, so if you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was a bit scared when I arrived at the shelter but began to blossom quickly.  Then the weather got really cold and there was an ‘all call’ for temporary fosters to host us until the weather passed, I went to a nice home and gained even more confidence there and had a great time, too!  I have a quiet and gentle nature, and my foster said I am ‘just a lovely dog’ who will be a great addition to a lucky family. With my cute little face, I am ready to charm my new family and live a great life with them. / My energy level is 6-7 so I have pep in my step at 10 years old. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and walk well on my leash, too.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster homes, too. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule with only a few accidents, and they were good in my temp. foster homes. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  My favorite thing is being with my people.  Whether we are enjoying a nice walk or cuddling on the couch, I treasure those times.  I love to be in a lap, so make room for me, and let’s cuddle!  I also enjoy playing fetch and throwing my toys up in the air when I play. / I was VERY nervous during the car ride from the shelter to my foster home.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I had a good dental cleaning and a few teeth removed, so my mouth is fresh again.  I also had a large tumor removed from my right hind quarter, so that feels better!  Just ask about it. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 3, 2026, 8:06 am

Cooper is a sweetheart! He and his best buddy Beau were on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 5/27. Beau has now been adopted. Cooper is 2 years old and weighs 30 pounds. He is so cute but shy. He is very laid back. He is a perfect gentleman on a leash. Ask for ID# 19338, Run 825. Cooper will be neutered soon and micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worms. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Charlie came home with us from the Douglasville Animal Shelter in spring 2022 and has been a good boy ever since. He’s a beagle/hound mix with a laid-back personality. He has his energetic moments but is just as happy curled up next to you on the couch. He does have some anxiety and tends to be clingy, which honestly just means he loves his person and wants to stay close. He’s been through dog training, so he’s not starting from zero, but he needs someone who’s owned dogs before and knows how to give an anxious pup the patience and consistency he needs to feel secure. If you’re an experienced dog owner with time and space for a loyal, affectionate dog, Charlie would be lucky to find you.

Carl is a sweet boy and loves me, but is having issues with other members of our house. He can be aggressive (rare occassions) with our older dog. He also has moments with our 3 year old, and we just can't risk anything bad happening as he is a little bit hard to read. He needs a home with an owner that wants to dedicate lots of time to exercise and training.
