Story
Milo is such a sweet boy. He is an amazing companion to snuggle with. He loves to take walks and rides in the car with the windows rolled down. Because of his keen sense of smell, he loves to be outdoors. Having the opportunity to be outside often would be a win for him, while he is capable of roaming the house even when no one is there without causing any damage.

Story
A WONDERFUL DOG FRIEND: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi there, I’m Vivian! I’m a darling dog who found myself in need of a new home and I’m grateful that Mostly Mutts has taken me in to help me do just that. I loved my time with the wonderful volunteers and am now having a great time in my wonderful foster home!    ·   OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, and I’m enjoying the friendly dog in my foster home, so if you have a friendly dog at home already, let’s meet! / I’m very interested in the kitty in my foster home. I haven’t chased him, but I do try to sniff him. All cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would do with another kitty. / I enjoy the kids that are 6-15 years old in my foster home, so if you have sweet kids these ages, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.     ·   PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, sweet, happy, and loving girl who’s an absolute delight to be around! I’m very cuddly and am so happy when I’m being petted and loved on. I’m also fun, active, and curious, enjoying the chance to explore my surroundings and sniff everything I can. I was a little unsure of the bath sprayer, but I stayed calm and did very well, looking up with my adorable seal-pup eyes that are sure to melt your heart. I’m a wonderful companion who’s ready to share lots of love, cuddles, and happy moments with my forever family. / Energy level: 4-6.    ·   SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command so far and I’m sure you can teach me lots more. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, and I sleep well overnight in my crate in my foster home. / My potty manners were good on the shelter schedule, with only a few accidents, and they have been good in my foster home.      ·   LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddling, sharing sweet kisses, and getting head and bottom scratches from my people. Tasty treats are always appreciated, and I enjoy playing with my doggy friends too. I also love going on outings—I had a wonderful time visiting the Smith-Gilbert Gardens—and I ride very well in the car, so I’d be happy to tag along on your adventures. / I can be startled by sudden movements towards me or loud noises, so I appreciate when people move slowly and gently around me. Things like quickly reaching for my leash or the sound of the garage door can make me nervous, but with patience and reassurance, I continue to gain confidence. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. ·   MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 15, 2026, 4:30 pm

Story
All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. ADOPT MEJuniper is a lovable 2 year old beagle-dachshund mix with a sweet disposition and lots of brown and black freckles all over. Though shy when she initially meets someone new, she quickly warms up and is  eager to roll over for belly rubs every chance she gets. On walks, she will keep close to you and follow your lead. At home, she’s happy to curl up in her bed or keep you company. She doesn’t beg, takes treats gently, and enjoys following the lead of her older foster sister. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect pup.”   Juniper needs to be in a quieter home, without young children.  She does have a bit of separation anxiety and does not care to be restricted access.  Crate training is in the works, but would need to be continued upon adoption.  Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. We definitely encourage people who are interested in adopting, even if they haven't found the right dog yet, to fill out an application. Our process can take as long as two weeks (we work day jobs!) so having an already approved application speeds things up considerably when you see a dog that catches your eye. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. This adorable little man comes from Newton County. He’s around five years old and 18 pounds. Murphy enjoys the company of other dogs and likes to be held. He gets vocal when he wants to eat or go outside.  Murphy is a strong heartworm positive, and has an enlarged heart. He also has an enlarged prostate which might be caused from a urinary infection. He has a frequent cough and suspected hypertension in his lungs. Poor boy! Hence, Murphy will be with us for a little while as we work to get him healthy. He’ll be available for adoption, hopefully in around 4-5 months after his heartworm treatment. We’ll keep you updated on his progress.     Like what you see? Fill out our online application!
