A SWEET & FRIENDLY GIRL: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hello – I’m Honeybun!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I’m so grateful to be part of the MM family. I’m currently in a wonderful foster home enjoying life while I wait for the day someone comes along and chooses me to be their very own.  I needed bloodwork before my surgery (see medical section below) and I've had that thanks to a generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I enjoyed hanging out with two dogs in one of my temp. foster homes as well as playing with some dogs I met at the Mostly Mutts shelter, so if you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was a bit scared when I arrived at the shelter but began to blossom quickly.  Then the weather got really cold and there was an ‘all call’ for temporary fosters to host us until the weather passed, I went to a nice home and gained even more confidence there and had a great time, too!  I have a quiet and gentle nature, and my foster said I am ‘just a lovely dog’ who will be a great addition to a lucky family. With my cute little face, I am ready to charm my new family and live a great life with them. / My energy level is 6-7 so I have pep in my step at 10 years old. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and walk well on my leash, too.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts and in my temp. foster homes, too. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule with only a few accidents, and they were good in my temp. foster homes. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  My favorite thing is being with my people.  Whether we are enjoying a nice walk or cuddling on the couch, I treasure those times.  I love to be in a lap, so make room for me, and let’s cuddle!  I also enjoy playing fetch and throwing my toys up in the air when I play. / I was VERY nervous during the car ride from the shelter to my foster home.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I had a good dental cleaning and a few teeth removed, so my mouth is fresh again.  I also had a large tumor removed from my right hind quarter, so that feels better!  Just ask about it. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 6, 2026, 8:20 am

Story
AN ACTIVE & FUN-LOVING GAL:  Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 27 lbs.  Hi, I’m Maybelle!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control when I was very pregnant!  Thankfully, I went into a great foster home and had 10 puppies!  I’ve finished my mommy duties, all my pups have been adopted and now it’s my turn!  I’m excited and hopeful that I’ll find a wonderful family who will call me their own very soon and love me furever!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with another dog and have met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met kids ages 6-14 on a spend-the-night with a volunteer and I was very sweet with them, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:   I’m an amazingly sweet, lovable girl with an adorable personality and a zest for life that’s hard to miss.  Since weaning my puppies, I seem ready to cut loose and enjoy being a dog again!  I may have been on my own for a while before animal control picked me up, so home life may still be somewhat new to me, but I’m embracing it with enthusiasm.  I’ll likely need my new family to help me learn what’s my toy and what is not.  I love to play, sniff, and explore the world around me and I’m not as vocal as most Beagles.  I get quite energetic and love interaction and fun but after some good exercise, I can decompress and settle down.  I was a perfect angel for my bath - calm, cooperative, and just the sweetest the entire time.  I’m a wonderful girl who would thrive with a family that enjoys playing, exploring, and sharing life’s adventures with me. / Energy level: 6-8, sometimes higher, so I’ll want regular activity/exercise with my new family.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have learned the ‘come’ command so far and I look forward to learning a lot with my trainer!  Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time in a crate in my new home. / I’m having accidents on the shelter schedule – perhaps I just need to go out a bit more than the shelter schedule allows, so I’ll need your help to finish my potty training.     • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love treats, people, and just about everything that makes life fun!  Whether I’m spending time with my family, making new friends, exploring, or enjoying a tasty snack, I approach life with enthusiasm and a happy spirit.  I simply love having fun and making the most of every day! / Not getting enough exercise and interaction would make me unhappy.  Other than that I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a lovable, active and wonderful dog looking for the same in my new family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 6, 2026, 8:20 am

A SWEET, FRIENDLY FELLOW:  Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 47 lbs.  Hi there, I’m John Henry! So, if you have kids 10+, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  In my foster home, I’m described as a friendly, active, sweet, and fun fellow who will make a wonderful family companion. /My energy level is approx. 6-8. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My foster reports that I’m good with my commands, so let’s work together and see how many I know.  They are currently working with me on a little barking – understandable with my recent loss. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I have not needed to be crated. / My potty manners are good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing fetch with tennis balls and being active with my family, and belly rubs are definitely high on my favorites list, too!  While not required, a fenced yard would be wonderful for all our fun play sessions together. / I’m not a fan of fireworks or being restrained during vetting, and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:   I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a dental cleaning so my mouth is fresh again - and not the talking-back kind of fresh!     I am looking for a home where I will be loved as a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 6, 2026, 8:20 am

Story
Butterscotch is a 7 month old Beagle/Border Collie Mix. He is naturally very well behaved in many ways - he rarely barks and absolutely never tries to escape. I don't even keep him on a leash sometimes because he just wants to be wherever I am. He's very affectionate. He is still a puppy so there are still some things he's still learning, like not to jump on people or chew things (though these behaviors are improving). He is house trained, but hasn't yet learned to communicate a need to go outside so if you don't have a doggy door you'll have to remember to let him out every 2 hours or so initially. We'd love to keep butterscotch but our busy schedule doesn't allow us to give him the attention and exercise that he needs right now. Hoping to find him a loving home.

Story
Meet sweet and loving bonded pair, Zandra (brindle) and Stella (lighter face)! These sisters came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after they were both abandoned in an apartment. They have both adjusted well to life in their loving foster home, but can be timid and uncertain at times. Once they settle in and get to know you, both are very loving and have great personalities. Loud noises can make both Zandra and Stella a little nervous, so a home with older (or no) kids would be preferred. Zandra is a brindle-colored terrier mix. She is a mature girl, who is estimated to be around 8yr old, and weighs 43lbs. Zandra loves to play in her fenced yard, is treat motivated, and is eager to please. She is crate trained, perfectly house trained, and has a medium energy level. Although she always has a serious look on her face, don&#39t let it fool you - Zandra is very loving and sweet! Stella is a Beagle/Hound mix, is estimated to be around 5yr old, and weighs 40lbs. She loves to run around her fenced yard with her sister Zandra, is very food motivated, and is overall a sweet girl. Stella is crate trained and house trained. She is the caretaker of this bonded pair, and is always looking out for her sister and offering her support and love! If you&#39re interested in adopting this bonded pair, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Taryn!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me.  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own – where I can love and be loved furever!  I hope to meet them very soon!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and I needed some time to warm up to them, but once I did, I liked them.  I can be vocal when playing and meeting other dogs.  It helped when I had a few visits with the same dog, so if you have a nice, patient doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, and kids should not hug me (as I don’t like to feel restrained).    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a friendly, active, happy, and fun dog.  I love nothing more than I love people!  I was very sweet and handled my bath, and nail trim well.  I am a bit vocal when I see other dogs or people and fast movements or loud noises may startle me, but I recover quickly.  / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good.  In the prison/foster training program, I didn’t need a crate and enjoyed sleeping outside of it.  / My potty habits were good in the off-site training program I was in, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: Spending time with the volunteers is my favorite thing, and I’ll gladly soak up all the attention, pets, and affection you have to give.  I also like playing with toys, and I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we’ll enjoy doing together in my new home. / Other than other dogs and restraint for my vetting, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I wasn’t a fan of being restrained during vetting, so a muzzle may be helpful during my vetting.  I’m a fun-loving gal looking for a wonderful family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 6, 2026, 8:20 am
