Story
Introducing Beatrix, a dog with a story that needs to be heard! This beautiful and sweet girl found her way to the shelter on 5/25/23, arriving as a stray. Beatrix is 4 years old and weighs a perfect 33 lbs, making her the ideal companion for both outdoor adventures and cozy cuddle sessions. What sets Beatrix apart is her unique blend of playfulness and serenity. She has a calm demeanor making her a perfect match for families and individuals alike. When she's not busy charming everyone with her gentle nature, Beatrix loves to show off her impeccable manners by sitting obediently for treats. And toys? Let's just say Beatrix can turn any ordinary day into a playful adventure with her enthusiasm and curiosity. Although Beatrix has already received her vaccinations, it's important to note that her heartworm test came back positive. However, with proper care and treatment, she can make a full recovery and live a long, happy life. Beatrix is spayed and and the shelter will assure she is microchipped before she finds her forever home. Come and meet Beatrix, ID 645109, in Run# 303, and be prepared to fall head over heels for this incredible dog who is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless tail wags into your life. Story
Meet the darling 2 year old girl we are calling Lulu. Lulu arrived at the shelter on 05/31 as a lost baby and her family never came for her. That family did teach her to sit and she is great on leash. Lulu could not be any sweeter and at just 20 pounds she is a perfect size to fit in your lap. Lulu is current on vaccines, tested negative for heart worms and will be spayed and micro-chipped upon adoption. She is waiting for her new family in cage 317 in the small dog room and her ID# is 645276. She is not your typical beagle, she is quiet and laidback. Story
Rachel is a petite and sweet older gal! She is a beagle mix, born on 1-16-14, and is the perfect size weighing only 28lbs. This beautiful girl was left by her family at the shelter in 2022, and was very fearful of everything. Rachel has spent time with a trainer gaining confidence and learning what the good life is like! She is low/medium energy, and is perfectly house trained and crate trained. She has good leash manners and walks nicely on leash. Rachel loves playing with other dogs, but it is unknown how she would do with cats. She is very timid when meeting new people but will quickly warm up with treats! Due to her timid nature, a home with no young kids would be best. Rachel is fully vetted and ready to find her forever family! She would love a family who will commit to her for the rest of her years, and provide her with the love she deserves. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about Rachel, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. If you would like to adopt this sweet girl, please submit an application for her at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.June 5, 2023, 11:20 pm

Story
Darling Biscuit was rescued at the end of January after being found with a gunshot wound and a shattered jaw. He is still recovering, wearing a brace on his jaw...but he is doing so incredibly well, he would absolutely be ready to be adopted and finish his healing with his furever family! Biscuit came out of the vet a totally different dog than he went in. He came out with gratitude, happiness and some spunk! He knew he was being saved! Biscuit is doing great, eating and finally drinking out of a bowl again. He totally runs his pack of k9 foster siblings! He gets along great with all of them and is a confident sweet boy! Biscuit would be great with any dog and children! He would prefer to be in a home with another dog!
