Rescued several years ago from the Tennessee mountains with his brother Milo. They have both become too much for us to handle. Great dogs! Would love to find a home for them both cause hate to split them up. Either way we are at our wits end and needing to find a home asap.

A SWEET & GENTLE FRIEND:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 21 lbs. Hi there, I’m Abigail!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m so happy to be here while I wait for my forever family.  I just went into a foster home, so we’ll be learning even more about me soon - but for now, just know that I’m already feeling grateful, hopeful, and excited for this new chapter!  I arrived with a healing old injury to my left eye which is being treated and is improving, see medical below for more information.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and wasn’t ready to play with them, but I also didn’t show any aggression.  I was not a fan of being jumped on, so I think more mellow dogs would be best for me.  So, if you have a dog like this, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a gentle, precious girl with a super sweet nature, and I try my best to make everyone smile. I’m wonderfully patient for things like baths, ear cleanings, nail trims, and even my eye drops. I enjoy my time with the nice volunteers that have taken such good care of me and while I can be a bit shy at first, I’m building confidence every day and my friendly, loving, and easygoing nature is shining through. I was even sweet and calm during my photo session - just happy to be close to the people that are caring for me! / Energy Level: 3-5.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command so far and I’m sure you can teach me lots more. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve been having accidents on the shelter schedule.  Since I’ve just gone into a foster home, there will be an update on my potty manners soon.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love spending time with all the nice volunteers, and I won’t turn down cuddles and affection.  I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we will enjoy doing together, too. / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, good care and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I came in with an injury to my left eye that animal control started treating me for and MM took over once they rescued me.  At first, I could not see out of my left eye but with good care, medications and eye drops, I’m regaining vision in that eye!  It may always have a little cloudiness, but my sweet brown eye color is coming back, too. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to love and take great care of me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 5, 2025, 7:21 am

‘Z’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 4 lbs. & growing Hi there! I’m one of the adorable ‘Z’ themed puppies who made my way to Mostly Mutts thanks to a kind-hearted Samaritan who rescued me and knew I deserved a good start in life. I’m so grateful for that chance! I’m in a wonderful foster home now where I’m learning, growing, and getting ready for the best part - finding my furever family!            • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love my siblings and do well with the other dog in my foster home, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I enjoy the kids in my foster home who are gentle and 5-16 years old, so if you have kids that know how to be gentle with a tiny pup like me, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as an active, happy and adorable puppy. / My energy level is around 5-7 right now as I’m super active and then take a long nap.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can crate train me.  In my foster home I stay in a little puppy pen with my sibling that has newspaper/puppy pads in it. / I’m at the beginning of my potty training and I’m doing well when my foster takes me out to potty as I go #1 and #2 pretty quickly.  Keep me on a good schedule so I’ll learn my potty manners and remember that I’m tiny so please stay close to me outside so the birds of prey don’t take an interest in me. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing with toys, wrestling with my sibling and being held.  I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things that we’ll enjoy doing together. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    December 5, 2025, 6:14 am

A FRIENDLY & SWEET FELLOW:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 17 lbs. Hi, my name is Pepe!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the volunteers, who take great care of me.  Now I hear it’s time to find a wonderful home of my very own – where I can love and be loved furever!  I’m ready to meet you, so come see me soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a cute, friendly, playful pup with a whole lot of sweetness packed into my little package.  I can be a bit timid at first, but I try my best to be brave - especially during bath time, where I stood still like a good boy and even enjoyed some cuddle time with my bather.  I’m a total cuddle bug who loves being held, and I can get a little mouthy in that goofy, puppy way.  Mostly, I just want to be close, soak up affection, and share all the love I’ve got! / Energy Level: 4-6.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t seem to know any commands yet, but I’m sure I can learn. / I’m doing well with my crate manners at Mostly Mutts and did well in a temporary foster home. / I’m doing pretty well on the shelter schedule with my potty manners with only a few accidents, and I did well in a temporary foster home, so hopefully I’ll do well in my new home once I know the routine.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy playing with toys soooo much (especially the stuffed lion in my temporary foster home), being held, and snuggling close.  I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we enjoy doing together! / I can’t think of any dislikes yet, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful pup looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 5, 2025, 8:28 am

Story
LOOKING FOR MY NEW BEST FRIEND:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name is Zelda!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so happy to be in their care.  I arrived at animal control full of milk, but … with no puppies. Thankfully, my puppies were located and have all made their way to Mostly Mutts, too.  We all have a much brighter future now! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, though I was around a lot of dogs in my former situation, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as ‘an absolute sweetheart’. I’m an affectionate girl who was a bit timid when I arrived, but the love and attention from the volunteers had me doing zoomies and jumping laps pretty soon after my arrival.  They have used a cheese treat to help me be more confident on a leash and I now generally walk on my own, but I won’t turn cheese down and I want to walk in quiet areas only!  I have a friendly and happy nature you are sure to love when you meet me! / My energy level is 4-6.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer, so check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having a few accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Once I knew I was in a good, safe place, I started soaking up the love from the volunteers who come to take care of and spend time with me.  Lap time is just the best, and I love collecting all the hugs and cuddles. / I don’t like walking near the busy street at the shelter with so many cars driving by, so let’s find a quieter place to walk please. Other than that, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am a loving girl looking for a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  December 5, 2025, 6:14 am

I’m in a wonderful foster home now where I’m learning, growing, and getting ready for the best part – finding my furever family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love my siblings and have met bigger adult dogs in my foster home.  I like them and am figuring out how to play with them, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home yet, so let’s meet, and it’s best I don’t live with toddlers who could fall on me.  I also prefer not to be picked up or hugged.            • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a fun little pup, full of playful energy and all the silly shenanigans you’d expect from a youngster like me!  Though I’m not one to enjoy being held, I do love being around my people! / My energy level is around 5-7 right now, of course this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I sleep well in my crate at nighttime with one of my siblings, of course there may be an adjustment once I’m in my new home.  I’ve not gone #2 in my crate, so yay me and sometimes I like to go in it and take naps after playing. / I’m at the beginning of my potty training, so I’ll need my family to be committed to potty training me in our yard – stay close to me as I’m tiny and the birds of prey could take an interest in me. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing with my sibling and I have a more vocal/growly playstyle. I’m ready to have lots of fun and discover a lot of things we can enjoy doing together as I like being with my people. / I’ve learned that being held isn’t really my thing, and hugs are a hard pass for now.  When someone picks me up or hugs me, I get uncomfortable – sometimes I even start shaking.  And if I’m in full zoomies mode, I might grunt or fuss if someone tries to pick me up. I’m much happier keeping my paws on the ground and showing affection that way!  I’m also sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough encouragement, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    December 5, 2025, 6:58 am
