They are calling this one Taffy. Taffy has a lovely, moderate puppy energy level and settles down nicely after play. She’s outgoing when meeting new people and other dogs and has been very respectful of the adult dog in her foster home. She enjoys being close to her people, happily follows the kids around, and is eager to engage. She loves rough-and-tumble play with her sister and shows great resilience—while loud noises may briefly startle her, she recovers quickly and returns to exploring with confidence. Dixie is a beautiful 7 year old female Beagle mix who weighs about 45 lbs. She is a very outgoing and friendly dog who likes everyone she meets including children. She has a playful personality and loves to run. Dixie is not good with cats and will need to be in a home without them. She plays well with other dogs unless there is food involved.
