Please contact Ann Marie Burns (AnnMarieB@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet girl seeking her fresh start PIPER NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Piper Best Guess for Breed: Beagle/Lab Mix Best Guess for Age: 9 months as of November 23 2023 SEX: female Approximate Weight: 29lbs; she is still growing! Check out video of Piper here! https://youtube.com/shorts/7ed9PrWtvWU?feature=share Gets Along With: Other dogs! We have tested Piper with some of the cats at the shelter, and she did not seem particularly interested in chasing or pouncing on the cat. While this is a positive sign that Piper could live with a cat, she has not done so to our knowledge. If you have cats in your home, we are happy to discuss with you how to best introduce a new pup to your pack!” Currently Living at: D.C area foster home! Special adoption considerations: Piper is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show her the ropes. Because of her shy personality, we do not recommend her for a home with children under the age of 12. Piper is Looking For: Piper is a shy and gentle soul, she may take a little time to warm up to new faces, but once she does, her loyalty knows no bounds. Piper is searching for a patient forever family who understands that good things come to those who wait. Piper would love a family who can provide her with plenty of opportunity for walks and to meet and socialize with new dog friends, people and sights and sounds. Will you give this sweet girl a chance to blossom and be your forever friend? What My Foster Says About Me: Piper is sweet and can be shy with people at first, but has started to come out of her shell at home. She loves going on walks with other dogs and is just the sweetest. She is is learning that lawn mowers, trucks and other loud things are okay. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
