Hello, Her name is April and was a rescue. Origin: She was found wandering the street. She was estimated to be 8 weeks old when she was rescued in June 2021. She is a 7-year-old Black Beagle who is 65% Beagle, 20% Pug, and 15% some other unidentifiable hound. She weighs 33 lbs. Children and personality: She has been especially protective of young children, loves tummy rubs, treats, running, playing, dog parks, and sleeping in her crate at night. Home life: She has lived in a single-family home with a fenced-in backyard from 2021 to the present. Energy level: April is energetic, strong, scent-driven, and sometimes stubborn. She needs regular exercise, structure, secure fencing, and supervision around unattended food. She may pull on walks, dig, bark at unfamiliar people or sounds, and attempt to escape when bored. Vet Visits: April's vet care has been handled by Banfield Pet Hospital.

Story
Lucky is a 4 year old beagle that I rescued since he was 6 months. He's a great dog...playful, loves cuddles, and very quiet for a beagle. My wife and I just had our first baby in April. Due to this life changing event, we can't give Lucky the attention needed, and the best decision would be to rehome him with a loving family. Please reach out for any additional info

Thankfully, Arlo is now safe and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. Arlo is an all-around great dog who enjoys spending time with his canine pals and has the kind, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. Whether it's exploring the outdoors, going for walks, or simply hanging out with his people, Arlo is happiest when he's part of the action. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:  Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!  Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/.
