Story
Bajju has been a deeply loved part of our family for many years, and making the decision to find him a new home has honestly been one of the hardest things for us. He is loyal, affectionate, playful, and happiest when he is around people who truly care for him. We are looking for a calm, responsible, and loving family who will treat him as a real family member and give him the time, patience, and affection he deserves. This is not a rushed decision for us — we simply want to find the right forever home where Bajju will continue to be safe, happy, and deeply loved. ❤️

Story
(1 year, 26lbs) Personality: goofy/funny, playful, smart, loyal, affectionate, snuggler, gentle, adaptable, outgoing, eager-to-please, good running partner, energetic, and easygoing. If you’re searching for a lovable companion who simply wants to be near you, look no further than Nitro. This little guy is a certified cuddle enthusiast: If given the opportunity, he’ll crawl into your lap and make himself at home, content to sleep the day away with you as his bed. If you are on the couch he will come find you and sit down next to you. Don't let his size fool you; he's got a mighty snore and zero shame about stretching out and getting cozy. Nitro is a fast learner who already knows several words, including "sit" and "paw." He’s good on a leash, social with dogs and humans of all ages and sizes. He is also great when left home uncrated with his canine foster siblings. While he loves to have plenty of time to sniff on his walks, and loves to go on a run, he is content to relax indoors as well. This eager-to-please guy is looking for a special human to give him all the love and snuggles he craves. Does that sound like you? Apply today to meet Nitro! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. Story
4 years, 18 pounds Personality: Affectionate, easygoing, loyal, brave, mischievous, protective, smart, eager-to-please, outgoing, playful, snuggler, goofy/funny, rambunctious, adventurous Meet dapper, enthusiastic O’Conner! This chill beagle can match your energy: he’s happy with the backyard and a few walks a day but is young and strong enough to be your running buddy. O’Conner also loves kids, other dogs, and guests. He’s working on house and leash training but is crate-trained and can be trusted for up to six hours outside of the crate. He’s not a chewer but “lives for treats,” according to his foster parent – he can even catch them right out of the air! He enjoys chase-and-retrieve games, going on walks, and is perfectly content with a backyard or even a skipped walk day. Most of all, he loves being close to his people—one of his favorite routines is helping tuck in an 8-year-old at night and settling in for family time. Does O’Conner sound like the right companion for you? Apply today to meet him! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC.
