Zena is 10 years old. She is a beagle mix (not sure what she is mixed with) I adopted Zena 10 years ago from a Pennsylvania dog shelter/adoption center. Zena is very friendly, house trained but not very good on a leash. Zena, for the past 10 years ,has always had a backyard to play and run around in but our family’s living situation has changed and we now live in an apartment. Its been 3 months and Zena is not adjusting well. She doesnt get to go outside as much as she is use to. I work from home but my time at work is not flexible and I can’t take her as much as she would like. I would want Zena to go to a home where she can have a backyard to run in. Zena is sweet and loyal and doesn’t deserve to be cooped up in an apartment.

She would do best in a home with older children (8+ years) and larger dogs. She is not cat friendly. Birdie is a great dog but isn’t happy with the small children that have joined our home. Missy is crate trained and potty trained in her current foster home. Missy currently lives with her human foster family and gets along well once she warms up and feels comfortable. In her foster home there are fur brother and sisters too. Missy generally likes cats after a few good sniffs and warming up over a few days. Missy is notplayful with other dogs and likes to keep to herself when in the same room. She is grouchy with other dogs during meal times or with treats.
