Paloma is a 5 year old spayed female beagle who weighs 40 pounds. She was rescued from living outside along with her friend, Piper. These girls are as friendly as they come, crave attention and cannot wait to be spoiled rotten. They have tested great with other dogs, are a bit overweight and could stand to loose some weight. These girls rode well in the car, love treats, zooming around the yard and cannot wait to be treated like princesses. Zena is 10 years old. She is a beagle mix (not sure what she is mixed with) I adopted Zena 10 years ago from a Pennsylvania dog shelter/adoption center. Zena is very friendly, house trained but not very good on a leash. Zena, for the past 10 years ,has always had a backyard to play and run around in but our family’s living situation has changed and we now live in an apartment. Its been 3 months and Zena is not adjusting well. She doesnt get to go outside as much as she is use to. I work from home but my time at work is not flexible and I can’t take her as much as she would like. I would want Zena to go to a home where she can have a backyard to run in. Zena is sweet and loyal and doesn’t deserve to be cooped up in an apartment.

Maya is a mixed brown and tan beagle mix rescue who came from a shelter. She is approximately 7 years old and has a wonderful disposition. Maya is energetic, bubbly, and playful, and she enjoys being around people and receiving attention. Due to a change in my personal circumstances, I am no longer able to give Maya the time and attention she deserves. I am looking for a loving, stable home where she can continue to receive affection, companionship, and proper care. Maya would do best with someone who enjoys an engaging, sweet dog and can provide her with consistent attention and love.

Birdie is a four year old beagle/cattle dog mix who hasn’t adapted well since we started having children a couple of years ago. She is a smart, energetic, playful, loving dog that loves snuggles. She would do best in a home with older children (8+ years) and larger dogs. She is not cat friendly. Birdie is a great dog but isn’t happy with the small children that have joined our home. She is crate trained.

Missy loves to go on brisk walks as she loves the neighborhood exploration. Missy likes to explore the backyard as well but doesn't spend too long outside. Once inside Missy will get a drink of water ask for a doggie treat and then found her spot either on the couch or a living room chair. Missy is a good napper and pretty chill in the house. Missy is crate trained and potty trained in her current foster home. Missy currently lives with her human foster family and gets along well once she warms up and feels comfortable. In her foster home there are fur brother and sisters too. Missy generally likes cats after a few good sniffs and warming up over a few days. Missy is notplayful with other dogs and likes to keep to herself when in the same room. She is grouchy with other dogs during meal times or with treats.
