Story
Meet Snoopy, an adorable 5-month-old Beagle with the most beautiful blue eyes! This handsome little guy is as sweet as they come and is ready to find a family to call his own. Still a young puppy, Snoopy has plenty of growing, learning, and exploring ahead of him.Snoopy has a lovely, easygoing personality and would be happy in a home with or without another dog. He can enjoy having a canine companion, but he doesn`t need one to be happy. He is at a wonderful age to learn all the basics and develop into a well-mannered family companion with some consistency, patience, and positive training.Like any young dog, Snoopy will need daily exercise, playtime, continued socialization, and plenty of attention as he grows. He is looking for a family who will include him in their everyday lives and give him all the love and companionship a young Beagle deserves. With those beautiful blue eyes and his sweet personality, Snoopy is sure to make someone a very happy dog parent. Story
Meet Mocha!Mocha found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own, and it`s understandable that he`s feeling a little anxious and confused. One day he had a family and a familiar place to call home, and now everything he knows has changed. He doesn`t quite understand where he is or what`s happening in his little world. What Mocha wants most is something so simple, yet so important: to belong to a family again. He wants the comfort of familiar faces, a cozy place to rest, and the reassurance that he is loved and wanted.Mocha deserves a chance to leave the shelter behind and start a new chapter with someone who will give him the patience and understanding he needs to settle in. With a little time and lots of love, he can begin to feel secure again and enjoy being part of a family. He`s already lost the home he knew. Now he`s hoping someone will give him a reason to believe that his happily ever after is still out there. Could you be the family Mocha is waiting for?

Story
Daisy Mu is an 11yo 15lb Beagle mix. She’s dog and kid friendly. She’s house and pee pad trained. She loves running around her fosters fenced in yard and is good on a leash when needs to be. She’s happy, loving, playful, loves toys, other dogs and her people. Daisy Mu’s foster requires a home with a secure fenced in yard and plenty of toys to play with If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Daisy Mu as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Daisy Mu’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Jenkintown, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org

Story
We rescued Rocky about a month ago and he has been so kind, gentle and quiet. He does not bark, or howl as most beagles do. I do not want to be doing this as he is a perfect companion but I got a job offer that is out of the country and I cannot bring him with me. He is very receptive to training and in the short time we’ve had him he has learned to sit, stay, “leave-it” and alerts us when he needs to go to the bathroom. He loves his stuffed animal moose, brings it everywhere, and will not jump or scratch at anyone or anything. He is a sweet, quiet boy who loves belly rubs and is a couch potato at night. He loves laying with you while the tv is on and is overall just an amazing dog. I simply cannot take him with me internationally which breaks my heart.

Story
We rescued Rocky a month ago and he is the sweetest most quiet beagle you will ever meet. He loves belly rubs and his stuffed animal moose. He is crate and house trained and has quickly learned to: sit, stay, “leave-it” and alerts us at the door when he needs to go out. He is a quiet beagle, no barking and no howling. He is so kind and gentle and doesn’t jump on you. He loves laying on the couch with you and has been very receptive to training in the short time we’ve had him. I do not want to give him up but I have received a job opportunity that I must take that is international and I cannot bring him with me. He is the happiest most gentle dog I have ever met and it pains me to do this but I refuse to surrender him so am hoping to find a caring home for him on this platform.

Story
Meet Sheba! This sweet Beagle mix is about 2 years old and weighs around 33 pounds. And after almost two months in her foster home, we are so happy to say that Sheba has completely blossomed! When Sheba first came to us after spending more than a year in a shelter, she was incredibly scared and shut down. But with patience, love, and the safety of a foster home, she has discovered that life can actually be pretty wonderful. And now we’re getting to see the playful, affectionate, silly girl who was hiding underneath all that fear. Sheba is fully house trained and fully crate trained, and she is an incredibly well-behaved girl inside the house. She isn’t a high-energy dog, but she absolutely loves having time to play. Give her some toys and she will happily entertain herself by throwing them in the air, rolling around with them, or settling down with a good bone. Her favorite activity, though, might be playing with other dogs! She loves to play chase and roughhouse with canine friends who enjoy the same kind of play. Sheba has excellent doggy manners and social cues and does well with dogs of all sizes. A playful dog would be a wonderful match for her.She has also discovered that walks are pretty awesome! She loves getting out and sniffing all the new smells along the way. She does pull a little on leash, but her foster is working with her and she is continuing to improve. She currently requires a securely fenced yard because she is not comfortable pottying while on leash.Inside, Sheba is such an easy companion. She loves curling up on the couch and being right beside her foster. She isn’t a big barker and will generally only speak up if someone knocks on the door or another dog starts barking. She also sleeps peacefully and is perfectly happy relaxing with her people.Sheba is still a little nervous when someone reaches toward her unexpectedly, so she does best with people who understand that she may need a little time to warm up. She is especially good with kids who know to take things slowly with her at first. In fact, Sheba has even surprised some of the kids she has met at adoption events by giving them a sweet little kiss. She may still be nervous at busy adoption events, but that is not the real Sheba. Her true personality comes shining through when she is comfortable — especially when she is in a fenced yard playing with other dogs, tossing around her toys, or snuggling next to her foster. Her floppy ears, curly tail, playful personality, and sweet nature make her impossible not to love. Sheba has filled out beautifully and is now at a healthy weight, and watching her transformation over the past two months has been incredible. She went from a frightened, shut-down dog to a playful, affectionate girl who loves toys, walks, dogs, cuddles, and simply being near her people. She just needs someone who will continue to give her the patience and understanding that have helped her blossom. In return, you’ll get a sweet, funny, playful companion who will show you more of her personality every day. If you think you could be the family Sheba has been waiting for, please apply at bcaaofnj.org!Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
