Animal Sanctuary Society, Inc. PO Box 24 Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054856-642-0004http://www.animalsanctuarysociety.org/small in size Cosmic is the definition of a little lover boy. With the sweetest heart-shaped marking right on his nose, he’s just as special on the inside as he is on the outside. This sweet pup loves staying close to his people and is happiest when he’s by your side. He’s a bit more of a “velcro puppy” compared to his siblings, always choosing cuddles and comfort over chaos. While he does enjoy playing with the other dogs, Cosmic is perfectly content taking breaks and soaking up quiet, cozy moments with his humans. Cosmic has a gentle, loving personality and will thrive in a home that’s ready to give him plenty of affection . If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion who will stick by your side through everything, Cosmic is your perfect match.  Please fill out an application at www.animalsanctuarysociety.com      To meet or adopt this pet, please fill out an adoption application online at www.animalsanctuarysociety.org.July 12, 2026, 9:43 pm

Story
Meet BenG (ACCT-A-254453)! This charming fellow is ready to find his forever home and start his next great adventure. BenG is a true sweetheart who absolutely loves receiving affection; he’s known for being friendly and loose, happily allowing pets all over. When it's time to head outside, BenG’s excitement is hard to miss! He walks well on a leash, though he can be an eager explorer. He loves to put his nose to work and will pull a bit when he’s on the trail of a particularly interesting scent. During a recent dog meet, BenG showed off his polite social skills, greeting another dog with a friendly sniff before independently wandering off to enjoy the yard. If you are looking for a sweet, curious companion who enjoys the simple pleasures of a good sniff and plenty of head scratches, BenG is waiting to meet you! 📽️Videos📽️: Westley meets BenG: https://youtube.com/shorts/NJUai5NCCzk?si=HwiAsp4Zjbq1hEi3 ⭐Behavioral Notes⭐ 07/03/2026 per staff: Took him out for a dog meet. Clipped leash to collar and picked him up. He pulled moderately on leash because he was so excited to get outside and sniff. Sniffed the other dog then disengaged and wandered around the yard. 07/02/2026 per staff: opened kennel, pet all over, friendly and loose. Story
Hi!  My name is Paddy and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by animal control and taken to a pretty scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list" 'cause they were so full.  Fortunately, BCAA saw me and said they would help me find a forever home ... yeah!   I am a low-rider beagle mix (in other words, due to my short little legs I'm low to the ground).  My foster mom says that even though I was a little shy when I first came in, it sure didn't take me long to figure out I was safe, going to regularly get me some good food and treats and that I even got to go out on walks exploring, something us beagle mixes live for!  I about 2 years old so past all of that puppy foolishness, and at just under 22lbs, I shouldn't get any bigger (unless I get all of the treats that I want!).  I have gotten along w/ all of the other dogs I have met and so far haven't bothered those things called cats that I've encountered.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding, although I would really prefer to be out and about with you.  As I mentioned, I love going for walks and have no problem with being on leash which is really good 'cause due to my breed mix, if I'm outside of a fenced area I do need to always be on leash (we hounds like to follow our noses!).  If yInterested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. Heidi was a stray that wandered up to a house and wouldn't leave. After trying for 2 weeks to find the owner, she was brought in. She is a very sweet girl who has had some training. She does well on a leash, know how to sit and shake. She is best as the only dog, or one with boundaries. She does well with other pups but does guard her food and toys. Not sure what her history is but it can be worked with but maybe not fixed completely. She is a great size and has done well with strangers and kids. Not sure about cats. She is a great pup just needing a new home. She does not like storms or loud noises.

Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
🐾 Meet Luna! 🐾 Luna is a 5-month-old Beagle mix with a sweet personality, an adorable face, and a nose that's always ready for her next adventure! She currently weighs about 20–25 pounds and is expected to stay a nice medium size when she's fully grown. One of Luna's biggest accomplishments is that she's already house-trained using the bell system! She'll ring the bell to let you know when she needs to go outside—a pretty impressive skill for such a young pup. Luna came to us as an owner surrender because she wasn't getting along well with the older dogs in her home. At her age, it's difficult to know whether she was trying to encourage them to play, testing boundaries like many adolescent puppies do, or simply overwhelming dogs that weren't interested in her puppy energy. What we do know is that Luna is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and appropriate introductions to other dogs. She would thrive with an active family that has the time and patience to continue teaching her good manners, provide plenty of exercise, and help her grow into the wonderful adult dog she's destined to be. Whether she's exploring the backyard, going for walks, or curling up after a busy day, Luna is ready to become someone's loyal best friend. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate young companion who's already off to a great start with house training, Luna may be the perfect addition to your family! She is getting spayed on June 17th and will be ready for her new family shortly after! She is currently being fostered in Mississippi but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road! Please message us if you are interested in adopting this little girl and we will send you an adoption application!
